Where did the Xindi go. Maybe nowhere. They are currently in a remote expanse of which people do not like to venture into. Besides, since ships cannot leave the expanse due to it's barrier, how would any body ever hear of the Xindi? How Enterprise will get out in anybodies guess. Furhtermore, the Andorian's are a founding species of the Federation itself and we barely hear of them in the other Star Trek's beyond the Original Series. If an important species like that can go unmentioned, the Xindi could go unmentioned to a greater degree. Also, we cannot say what will happen to the Xindi before Enterprise is done. They could end up wiped from history by a different faction in the cold war. They could die from their own weapon, or Archer could use the mutagenic virus against them, though I doubt he would do such a horrible thing. My point is, we don't know. -
OK, lets assume, the operative tells Archer of a certain threat. I'm sure Archer would want to deal with it, but Archer would still deal with it in his way. Also, since it is the bridge crew that has access to external scans, intitiates most contact with aliens and friendlies, and gets involved the most, it isn't likley that an operative not part of the bridge crew would be able observe much, and as I pointed out, if he went the Captain, if he were to observe something, the Captain would still deal with it in his way.
Daniels was an operative that was diguised as a lower member of the crew but Daniels had technology that the rest of the crew didn't. It is likely he could conduct research and dissmantle threats without anyone being the wiser. He had resources.
I can't think of many resources that would be available to a section 31 member without such technogies as the resources would need to come from the ship (for the most part) Every officer has to account for resources and time spent to their superior. Can you think of some way to circumvent this?

I'm not so much into the Back to the Future movies anymore, but it their time, I could watch them over and over and over and so on and so on...
They also fueled my interest for science, science fiction, and most particularly, time travel.

How about they make a new movie in which we see Data at the begginging, and he says "It seems that a temporal anomaly has changed the past, events are not what they were... in fact, I was dead... but not anymore!" Luckily this would erase B4's presence! Of course, Worf is there with no reason to be back as always. Beverly just happens to be visiting, and uh, Riker is back because he chickened out his command at the last moment... good ol' predictable Riker. And while we're at it, why don't we throw in Denise Crosby as her grand-daughter. It seems that her daughter Sela had a double self in another timeline, who had to go to the past and supposedly die to save the timeline, but she doesn't die. Instead, she is captured by the Maquis. She is killed while trying to escape, but she had a daughter with one of the Maquis. Sela's daugher, the grand-daugher of Tasha, comes to be the one-thrid Romulan, two-thirds Human character played by Crosby. Oh, and Wesley is back again, just like in Nemesis, but we still never find out why or how! Who wouldn't love this movie! -
I agree with Archerfan (although I think his or her opinion may be biased towards Archer due to the name...archerfan...lol) Quantum Leap is my favorite non Star Trek show, and at first I thought I'd be thinking of Archer as Sam on Enterprise, but now after 2 seasons Sam never comes to mind when I watch Enterprise. I coudn't even see Sam by episode 10. I came to think about it one night, and I when I watched it, I just couldn't find a Sam in him. He is a truly good actor that doesn't succumb to typecasting. Archer is completely different than Beckett... and I think both are fantastic characters. I couldn't be happier that Bakula got the part for Captain Jon A. -
I like some Star Trek names... Jadzia is a very nice name... but I read that children with common names are more likely to be succesful in life so a common name is what I'm gonna give. Not too common tho... unless i really like the name -
BECAUSE IT CAME WITH MY COMPUTER. AND THAT WAS BECAUSE OF THE MICROSOFT MONOPOLY. AND THAT WAS BECAUSE OF BILL GATES! -
I always wondered why the Doctor refered to himself being activated for 7 years in the last season when technically he had an extra 2 according to his perspective. Maybe he said it that way since Voyager's perspective was still only 7. That would have made a neat story tho! Just think, that world could be VERY advanced by now... it's been 3 years since VOY found them... and they advanced incredibly in just a few days. Their race may not even exist anymore... their planets resources have probably been used up by now. -
Hmm, I didn't know what to vote for... I like family and friends, but 50 years seems so short. So I didn't vote. As for the alien on that planent... he was stranded there by his race. He has no physical means to leave the planet. I don't see why he couldn't force an alien vessel to pick him up and give him a lift tho? Maybe he likes to live there, but only when he was a partner. -
Yes, my favorite ploy is when a Captain makes a good bluff. The Corbomite Manuovre was one of the best. I also like it when he used a codied channel that he knew the Romulans had decrypted to make them believe that he had a self destruct device that would destroy any ship within a few light years. Thent he Romulans moved out of range, and the Enterprise was free to escape. -
Ok, your right, it says Starfleet Charter, not Federation Charter (if there even is one) but what could a Section 31 agent possibly do on Enterprise. Section 31 members need power to get things done, on Enterprise they would have to power unless they were the Captain or something like that. How could a lowly ensign check for threats to Starfleet on Ent? Even if that ensign were able to find out about one, he could just beam off the ship to deal with it... the Captain would have to order him to, but since the Captain wouldn't know about it... besides, the senior crew is just as capable of dealing with threats. I don't just don't feel that section 31 would be very functional in this situation. A section 31 member needs resources... I can't think of any they would have! Why does the Captain have to remain in the dark? Why does the agent have to be an ensign? Why can't he be the Major in charge of the MACOs? Who says he doesn't have resources? Why can't he be there to observe? This seems like a perfect reason for Section 31 to be there (the Xindi). To say that they couldn't do this kind of story isn't showing a lot of faith in the writers and producers to come up with a unique and well written story that would fit in with the established timeline.
If Archer were to learn of the existence of Section 31 I don't think it would be out of character for the established secrecy of Section 31, after all Bashir knows of them. So does O'Brien, Odo, Sisko, Dax and Worf. They aren't well known but that's not to say they are completely invisible and unknown.
I think it would make a good tie in with DS9 and would show backward continuity. After all, we are here to see how it all begins. Right?
VBG, i was using the ensign thing as an example. My point was that a section 31 member isn't likely to be a member of the bridge crew. T'Pol is an alien, Trip just doesn't seem like one, Hoshi was chosen at the last moment.. etc. So the crew member that would be Section 31 would have to be of a more lowly rank, which means that he won't have resources per se, because as a lowly officer he does what the Captain says and can't just do what he wants. Futhermore, because of Section 31's secrecy, he could tell the Cpatain about a situation to resolve it because that would reveal Section 31, thus, how would such a member resolve a situation. True, they could observe, but what exactly would that accomplish? I'm sure there is some story the writteres could write to fix some of these issues, but I don't think Section 31 would be particularly useful. In the future, Section 31 would have many contacts to use for their beifit, but now, the only people to use is the crew of Enterprise, and I don't belive that could be done effeciently. I think Archer and his crew are the ones that will have to deal with threats for now. I could see Section 31 maybe as a unit that deals with corruption within Starfleet perhaps. Oh, but if there was a Section 31 member, you are totally right, the MACO's would be an excellent choice!

Yes, Silik is quite interesting! I think he is a rather gray character like Dukat... not that he could ever be as brilliant a character as Dukat. As for the Kazon, I think they were dropped due to their low popularity, but like it has been mentioned, Voyager moved past that area of space. As soon as they entered the Nekrit Expanse they left behind virually all species they encountered on the other side, including the Talaxian's, the Vidiian's, and the Ocompan's. It is interesting to note the similarity to Enterprise's Deplhic Explanse. Enterprise entered the Dephic Expanse at the end of season 2 (duh), and Voyager entered the Nekrit Expanse in the middle of season 3. The differences between the expanses is that the Nekrit Expanse separated regions of space and the Delphic Expanse is treated as a region of space of it's own. But I think it's safe to say that, unlike Voyager, Enterprise will return to it's traditional territories. -
I'm surprised it turned out this well too! I was feeling wacky that day... I guess I managed to spread the wackiness, which is GOOD! YAY! -
lol, i said milk in the silk question, and 260 degees for the hour hand... but everything else I got... -

I noticed that the Rommies seemed much more like Klingons in TOS. Now I know why there changed! I also thought the Klingons were alot different. They didn't seem so honorable. The were conquerers, but they would conquer through deceit and cowardly tactics... often running away from a good fight. -
The Borg ship seen in Descent was not a traditional Borg ship. It did not belong to the overall collective. It was built after Hue's Borg cube was destroyed due to his individuality. From here, I would assume that once Lore joined up with the now ruined Borg group, they assembled a new ship. We never had any insight as to how they might have done that, but after seeing Regeneration, it is resonable to say that they could have modified another ship into a Borg vessel... although I doubt that was the idea back in the days of TNG, as they didn't really have such an ability in TNG. The Borg were quite undeveloped (character wise) back then.

My bad... I thought were talking unsolicited advertisements here... not the food. I hate spam... but have never tried spam. Are you confused yet? -
Personally I don't think the idea would make sense. Why would they need a section 31 when there is only ONE ship out there. Starfleet is a small operation right now, and it is a fairly uncomplicated one as well. In 7 years when the Federation is founded, there are several Starfleet ships, and there are alliances, not to mention Romulan wars... then maybe I could see a use for it. But not now. Also, like it was mentioned with the Romulan war idea, they shouldn't make the war a plot for Enterprise just because it was mentioned as a blurb in Star Trek... nor should Section 31 be a part of Enterprise because there was a blurb about it being around since the Charter of the Federation was created (which was after Enterprise anyway). The only way I could fathom the idea on the show would be to have Section 31 come from the distant future for some reason, probably having to do with the cold war. -
You know, I don't think Q was trying to be the bad guy. I think he knew Voyager would end up encountering the Borg, and that Voyager would need knowledge of the Borg to understand how to deal with them to defeat Species 8472 and eventually the Borg in end game. Now the galaxy is safe, and if I'm not mistaken, I think Q told his son Q in Q2 that the Q are meant to keep order in the universe... which I think was done. Think of all the other times Q has been around. He usually had a lesson to teach Picard! -
HEY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! LIVE LONG AND PROSPER!!!!! -
So you think future guy is the one who told the Xindi about that? How do you know it was him. I think it was probably another faction from the 26th. Future guy seems to be a good guy to me. It would be a nice twist though, that is, if they can explain why he still helped Enterprise in those few instances. But I don't think that your explanation removes the faults with the plausibility of time travel in such as manner. Just my opinion, please take no offence.

At first I thought it was awesome, but time travel episodes almost always have errors in logic... and the logic of time travel often changes from one to another. They make interesting stand alones... and the TCW is fun and all, but its leaving the series as a whole open to time travel critism. For example, if the Xindi destroy Earth, Earth can't destroy the Xindi in the future, thus the Xindi wont know to destroy Earth in ent... I could go on and on with such questioning about any Star Trek episode involving time travel. Right now, Ent is using the TCW to create the problem with the Xindi... there is really only that one flaw with the idea, so it isn't a big deal, but if they start to deal with the TCW more directly, I might get annoyed. -
