Like Mrs. Picard I voted French. English is no. 1 language here in Germany. Each kid learns it in school.

I choose French as second language because I love languages and 2 ancestors of mine were French. I learnt French for 4 year. Now, 25 years later, I'm able to make myself understandable in French but unfortunately that's all.

I'd love to start Spanish but no time at present

Thanks to a friend I was able to see "The shipment" yesterday evening and I loved it.

And what totally satisfied me was the clever way Archer handled the situation. He solved the problem not the simple way by using fire power but by trust and a bright idea.

For me 10/10 rating.

But I also agree with MoulinRouge about friendship episodes. And I'd like to see some more background episodes. Especially Hoshi, we know little about her history. And Trip too. Let's show more of them in episodes like "silent enemy" where we learnt much about Malcolm.

I'd also like to see more on the TCW - and I'm facinated by the Andorians. I like all the eps with them !!!! And - don't laugh about me - I like it when they move their antenna.

Hard decision between Uhura and Seven. But I finally voted Seven.

I always loved the episodes with the Borg and especially her. It was facinating to see her development onboard Voyager.

I go with the TOS Vulcans. I have always liked them. I'm a fan of the TOS books dealing with Vulcans. And I do like Spock!!!

I'm much more interested in considering the possibility of the "Crystal" somehow in the future, becoming the Entity known as The Companion (TOS episode: Metamorphosis season 2 #37) Now there's a topic!

That also came on my mind while watching and for me it's probably meant as an homage to TOS. This is one thing I've been waiting for.

Let me first say I do like the episode and I was glad to see more of Hoshi.

But i tend to be a bit empathetic. And as a female I would never wear such a dress or leave the bedroom in a night gown when I feel uncomfortable with the situation. I still see no logic in it. I agree with RSV that " a story element should be integrated in the plot"

By the way, RSV could you exlain me what you mean with "I can see where you are coming from"? - I'm just curious nothing else

I did't see that there was already another threat and other members already talked about the dress - I feel a bit embarrassed about it - sorry for that.

I do not have a problem with the fact that Hoshi wore this dress. She really looked great!!!!

Belive me Klingonmike and RSV, I didn't wish to complain about sexy looking girls or boys on ENT.

But my problem is like Archerfan and Fredbroca said, the dress doesn't fit neither to the surrounding nor to the (diplomatic - and for herself later on uncomfortable) situation.

I imply the producers have choosen that outfit because of ratings. And I'm not happy with the fact that logic is sacrificed on the altar of ratings.

Ok, tell me guys you'd loved it :lol: but why the hell would any woman wear such an outfit in a surrounding she feels uncomfortable with? And that she didn't feel well you could see when she backed out her hand as she was touched.

Do the writers really everything because of ratings??? Couldn't we fans expect some common sense?
