  1. I also love to be here

Sometimes I check out facts on startrek.com and of course I m u s t be there during Scott Bakula chats, next on 19/11.

I once checked their board but didn't like it. The people there uses a language I do not understand. I mean that literally. They are using so many words I do not know. And from the inflection I got I do not wish to understand. Offending other people is not the way I'd like to communicate.

  2. Without reading the given comments I voted Hoshi.

I understood the questions in terms of what we know about the background of the character. We learnt about Travis' past on board the Horizon and facts about Malcolm (Silent enemy, Shuttlepod one). But on Hoshi's past?????

But of course Travis has the fewest lines. As to me he is a likeable person and I'd be happy to see more of him.

  3. I go with Malcolm too.

He often saved the ship (spontaneously Singularity, Silent enemy came to my mind) and his captain (Judgement, Detained) therefore he deserves it.

But I agree there is no little room for upgrading, especially when considering that their trip to the stars "just" began.

Unfortunately the writers are no fans of promotions. Remember poor Ensign Kim and the rest of the VOY crew who would have deserved a promotion after contact to starfleet was established.

  4. Archer of course.

Main reasons are the qualities which attracted me in frist place: His humanity and the way he deals with problems - he uses his brain to convince (not persuade or force) and to achieve his goals

Kirk - Picard - Sisko = thats my next ranking list

  5. I also voted NO!!!!!!!!!!! And I mean NO!!!!!!!!!

But B T H, ENT did change in season 3.

I know I belong to the few who were very happy with season 1 and 2 and I could have gone with pure exploring, the TCW etc. forever. But I'm relieved to find my understanding in Trek in epis like "Extinction" and "The shipment".

I do not wish to complain about the new direction. If the majority of the fans likes it and the new development helps to keep ratings up, I'm fine.

The worst cast scenario for me would be an end of Star Trek. I cannot stand this thought!!!!
