I love chess. I was member of our local chess club 20 years ago but never had been so good at it.
But I still love the game, unfortunately I do not have someone to play with. Anyone interested in a far distance game via PM/e-mail? But I have to warn you I have forgotten lots of my knowledge about the theories on openings and endings

Thanks for bringing this up, Tattoo
Although we did't see Kellie Waymire that much she will be remembered by Star Trek fans all over the world because her likeable attitude.

A voted "new crew". I'm against introducing new faces to the fandom. The agitation afterwards when discussing which is better ENT or the potential new crew seems to me "not helpful" as a Vulcan would say.
As to me TNG movie time seems to be over. But DS9 and/or VOY could make it.

I voted ENT!The characters are great (as are the actors) and we are seeing more and more development of them. We are seeing what makes them tick. The interactions between the crew members are developing nicely too.
The spirit of the show is what caught me from the beginning and continues to hold me. The newness, exploration, going into uncharted territory where no one has gone before, captivates me. We know how it will all end (with the formation of the Federation, TOS, TNG, VOY, and DS9) and this is the journey that takes us there. Now, the crew is seeking out the Xindi to save humanity. Let us explore what humankind is made of!
The story arcs and the writing is truely taking shape in this season! I couldn't ask for better.
Let's not forget the special effects. They are superb!
I fully agree, Riaan!!!!
But I also love the spirit of TOS. It's the love of my youth and will ever have a special place in my heart. I enjoyed the chemestry between the crew on DS9 and I used to love VOY
Sorry, TNG isn't among my all time favourite. Maybe because of the bad translation here in Germany. But I do like Picard

I think as long as the Star Trek franchise is making money for Paramount, that there will be another series.Unfortunately Indy is right. As long as we fans support the show it will go on.
And me personal I do not wish to be without it

For me internet is a chance to meet people from all over the world and to learn a bit how they think and what is important to them. I do appreciate that opportunity.
Since I do not know so many star trek fans I'm glad to be able to exchange my thoughts with them.
And to chat with other people so far away from me thrills me!!! I do like that.

I sad to hear that news. She seemed to be such a likeable person.
Sorry that now there is no chance to see her and Phlox together again.

I gave it 9.5 rating. What a great episode. I read someone comparing it to 'Year of Hell' from Voyager and I can see the comparison. As I've said before if you love these characters it doesn't matter if the story is similar to another episode and that's all it was, similar. IMO this episode was much more intense than YOH. The Earth being destroyed and only 6,00 humans left...Yikes that was terrifying. Not only did the Xindi destroy Earth but they're searching for us in every corner of space to destroy ever last one of us. That was something I hadn't thought about. It was interesting because even though I knew everything would turn out in the end I didn't know how we would get there. That's what makes a great episode IMO. Like it was meant to do it did renew the sense of urgency to the mission and my dislike for the Xindi. What a great follow up to last weeks softer episode. Just when we start sympathizing with the sloth species they throw this one at us. Makes you wonder how come none of these "good" Xindi wouldn't put a stop to our exterminaton when they found out. I guess they're a lot more bad Xindi than good. Well of course I can't leave out the wonderful scene with Archer on the bridge with his shirt off.LOL It was nice to see the softer Archer again. I really liked last weeks episode but this one blew it away. Great FX. I could go on and on. I can't wait until next week.I just happened to see "Twilight" and I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Therefore I voted 10.
I fully agree with Archerfan and Spacetigger.

I liked the reference to TOS movie "The wrath of khan".And I liked seeing the close relationship between Archer and T'Pol. As to me the attraction between Archer and Raijin is purely physical. T'Pol and Trip ? Well their relation developed, trust increased, but at this point of stage - physical attraction still the higher score.
Archer without a shirt on the bridge is alway a highlight. And well, the gray hair suited him. I have a thing for men with gray hair - ask my hubbie
As to me it was a fascinating plot on what might happen if the Xindi got their way and the mission would fail.

I have no much experience with chatrooms. I wanted to join the Halloween trivia but then the starting time was changed and I was too late.
But on Tuesday Captain Holland wanted to chat and Mrs. Picard and me joint him. That was fun!!!!!!!!!!! I'd love to do this again.
As to me it was a good idea to open a threat and invite people to a spontaneous chat.
