  1. What's your favourite ENT episode up to now?

Me I l o v e "silent enemy". It's good, thrilling story and so much fun while getting to learn more on Malcolm. Since then I can't hear the word pineapple without a b i g smile.

The most touching episode for me is "Cogenitor". For days I couldn't stop thinking about it. Trip wanted the best and what was the result. He showed the cogenitor a paradise which she couldn't reach. In thoughts I could put myself in the situation of the cogenitor and I could understand how desperate she must have been. Seeing possiblities and not being able achieve them. What a cruel thing. And situations in real life came to my mind. This also depressed/touched me very much.

  2. :laugh:I like the new theme song but it is not much differant from the way it was.

A lot of fans were complaining about the original, so I guess they are trying to make some of them happy, but those fans will not be.

    The same with me.

I voted "yes, but" because the new one is ok with me - but I like with old one more.

  3. I could read and understand it too - even though English isn't my mother tongue.

But that's not a real surprise for me. Some month ago a read an article how brain is working while reading. In this article I found the explanation why I sometimes "mis read" words. Sometimes I start reading a word and my brain finds a connection to other words. Both words have often only the beginning in common.

I think with this text it works in the same way. The brain put the letters together without conscious effort of the reader.

  4. TRIPP is cool, but i gotta go with SCOTTY ALL THE WAY. SCOTTY was the only one that could take his estimated times for repair at 2days, to 2hours. he was, and is the best.

    beam me up scotty

    LIVE LONG AND PROSPER B)

There'd nothing to be added - except for me peronally it must be Scotty. It was such a big fun sitting next to Scotty on the couch at a photo shooting during a con a couple of years ago. We (Scotty, my 2 girlfriends and me) were joking all the time. It was so great !!!!!!

  5. Star trek has been part of my live ever since. I'm a trekkie right from the start with TOS and the characters are like friends to me. Some more close, some less.

Before ENT started I saw pictures of the crew and read about it. And I didn't like it. This made me very sad because I feared there would come 7 years without Star trek for me - only the old movies and episodes. Fortunately when I saw my first ENT episode it got me!!!!!

Let me tell you another story. I read the book "shock wave" before I saw the episode. When I read about the disaster with the Paaragan colony I was so depressed. I thought, how terrible the crew must feel, how guilty and sad. For quite a time I couldn't think of anything else. Sometimes I said to myself "hey, stop it - it's only a story". But it took me time to get over it.

This may sound odd. But I see there are people here who'll understand.

  6. In my region there are Startrek fans. I have heard about regular meetings of fans at a restaurant in my home town (these meetings are called Startrek Dinner). But I never joint one. I can't point out a certain reason for not joining. Maybe because I assume that there will be only very young ones and that they wouldn't like such an old girl like me around.

Among my close friends there are no trekkies. But I'm in contact with fans via e-mail and I do enjoy this very much.
