They sound like good, well thought out modifications. Reasonable, logical and a touch of style.
I haven't modified any ships but I have created three new ships and a spacestation for use in my Fan-Fic, as you can see in my signature. There's something about having your own unique ship to kick ten shades of cr*p out of anyone you come across that really feels speacial.

"Aye Sir!"
Aelim looked wildly around at his console. He took a deep breath, and then slowly punched in commands at the Conn, concentrating to make sure he didn't make a mistake. This was it.
The Cardassian looked back to the Captain.
"Our heading is set and we're ready to jump to maximum warp at your orders Sir" He relayed back to the Cpatain earnestly.

Indeed. I too would like to join your crew, Skipper, if you'll have me. (And if you weren't insulted by the 'Skipper' remark )
If not, then your ship will need a Chief Engineer, if its okay I'd like to be him. As for rank, anything from Lieutenant, Junior Grade and upwards will be fine. I just want to boss around the Ensigns!

AHA! So now I know what Gowron gets up to when no ones watching!

In peacetime Jean-Luc Picard for his diplomatic skills and intelligence. In wartime Benjamin Sisko for his bravery, tactical genius and honesty.
Not that the others don't posess these fine qualities...

I think part of the reason why Enterprise is so bashed is because we as Star Trek fans are spoiled for choice. In 11 years we have had 3 series and 4 or 5 regular movies. Fans bash Enterprise because they are spoilt and like spoilt children, they can only complain and whine.
I feel that Trek is oversaturated and that we should let Enterprise continue on its seven year journey and then wait a period of 4-5 years, maybe bring out an ENT movie, build up some hunger among fans and then release the seventh series. I hope its set in the TOS timeframe, I can't wait.

I think that Janeway was more succesful in the Delta Quadrant then Picard would ever have been. She knew how to moitivate her crew through those difficult first few month's, how to learn the new rules of the Delta Quadrant and how to learn them fast, and that they should never give up hope. I think that had the Enterprise - D been in Voyager's position, crew morale would have been low, Picard would probably forbid contact with other species in the Delta Quadrant, (strictly upholding the Prime Directive) He would DEFINETLY avoid the Borg, he would have been content to plot the original 76 year course home and stick the ship on auto-pilot.
However, I do think that Picard was the better Captain overall, just that in that particular enviroment he would have fared badly.
So I voted Picard.

I think Kira would be the best choice. She has all the leadership skills plus we'll be traversing inhospitable, dangerous terrain for days, possibly weeks. No offence to Will and company but I don't think they could handle it.

Julian Bashir, he has a fantastic sense of humour. A close second is Odo.
-
:) Odo is just full of sound bites isn't he.

My Overal Ugly Species Award would have to go to the Kazon, they were ugly in both body and spirit.
For an individual, I'd have to go for the Borg Queen actually. She was the only character that repulsed me by what she was and who she was.

UPN, a new network premiering in January of 1995 wanted a Trek show of it's own. DS9 was locked in syndication deals, so VOY was developed as a result. Season 1 would have been about 20 episodes like DS9's first season, but I believe four of them were produced, but not aired till season 2. "The 37's" was originally going to be the season one finale, but became the season two premiere. That correct. The Voyager companion says that 20 episodes were produced but only 16 were shown in season 1.

I do regulary eat meat, but only because I don't care or think about the animals involved.
Now that sounds really cruel. I'll try and rephrase.
For instance, if whenever I saw a burger I saw a poor defenceless cow being butchered I would not be able to stomach it. I would turn vegetarian over night. So I just don't bother thinking about it and view the burger as food, not as mutilated flesh and gristle.
Damn I feel really guilty now.

Thanks, this name does actualy have a story behind it and... Oh wait, that's a story I can't tell in public...

I would use my money to convince all of the different national space programs to work together and really achieve something. And of course I would buy a full sized replica of DS9 and pay people millions to live there as different aliens.

I would have to say for me its the Bajoran military uniforms. They seem much more practical then any of the other uniforms.

My name has since been changed from Sasooni to NordicBearskin.

Nuts! Double post... Could this post be deleted?

I would love to be a Ferengi! -
Sasooni jumps out of his seat and looks round at the Commander.
"I'd better get down there Sir, who knows what kind of mess those crack-a-jacks down there have made!"

I've Seen That Ad, lolAnother Ad I've Seen...Which Is Downright Insulting...Shows These 2 "Nerds" At A Party Sitting On A Couch With Two Girls. To Distract The "Nerds" And Get Away, They Turn On The TV And You Hear Star Trek Coming On, Then The "Nerds" Stare At The TV As If Nothing Else Mattered, And The Girls Get Up And Leave.
Who Comes Up With This Crap?
That's what I'd do. I mean COME ON! Its Star Trek! Girls... Star Trek... Girls... Star Trek... Star Trek!
Which series was it by the way?
-
*Would this be a character RPG? I think that would be a lot better if the people involved sorted out basic characters. Until then, I'll be content with Sasooni, though I am a Cardassian.*
Sasooni raised his eyebrows as he deftly inputted the commands. The ship jumped to warp. Turning back round he gave the Commander a questioning look.
"Warp 5 Sir, that’s a bit... slow, wouldn't you say?" He said to the Commander with a trace of sarcasm.
Who's the most attractive DS9 character?
in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Posted
Well of course the most attractive person on the station was Rom.
A close second would be Jadzia.
