  1. Count me in, Constable. When Syracuse was left out of the big dance, my interest waned. Then they were invited to the NIT's, which (if they win) is like chanting, "We're Number 65!"

My focus is on Baseball right about now.

  2. I always liked Riker better with a beard, but I've had mine for over thirty years, so I'm not completely neutral on this topic :mad1:

I grow my beard when I'm on vacation. The job won't let me have it any other time.

I think Riker needs the beard. Without it, he's just another Kirk-Wannabe (aka-Clean-Shaven Hero).

  3. Original Star Trek by a mile, followed by TNG and then Enterprise. I'm not all that keen on DS9 (too much conflict and silly humour) and Voyager (too bland for me).

I never cared for a starship named for a mini-van.

    But Seven's outfits were spectacular!

  4. The first one hurt, the second is just business (IMO)

I sense a good story here.............

It's not really that good a story. The first one cheated on me with a guy she met on-line.

The second one is just a pain in the butt that whines about everything and then some.

    And doesn't like my kids.

    So, she's history.

  5. The only Phaserperson that I've seen around anywhere is Gary. Jim and Julie haven't been seen here in quite some time. Krissy seems to be good for maybe 1 post per month, if that...

Okay, before we hijack RC's thread, I'll explain it.

Since Krissy and I filed for divorce...

Both of us have moved out. Krissy has also moved out of the state to take a better paying job. By mutual agreement, the kids would be better with Krissy, because she actually has a better paying job than I do (I'm delivering pizzas to make my truck payment.)

Jim and Julie are now forced to figure out what to do with a house that is much too large for their family. They can afford it themselves, but it's not really worth it.

and of course there is more, with me, but that'll go in my log when I feel up to it.

I feel your pain. I'm going thru my second divorce in the last nine years myself.

The first one hurt, the second is just business (IMO)

  6. Well. the actor's next Star Trek appearance was considerably more masculine:

And William Campbell has made convention appearances and was very nice, according to those covering them.

  7. I have to admit if I was a Q or Trelane I wouldn't go prancing around like Liberace.

Why not? Who's going to dare say something about it???... :mad1:

Well. for one thing, I would have to give back my collection of Japanese girl's underwear.

By the way, in case anyone thinks I am kidding about Trelane looking like the gay piano player:

Maybe Trelane was modeled after Liberace? I see a resemblance.

  8. Wow...a real rarity. A Star Trek actor who finds life after Trek....excluding conventions.... :mad1:

Don't forget the actors who guest starred in one or two episodes of Star Trek, and now go to conventions for money :)

Sadly, I'd probably do the exact same thing. That and watch the fans go ga-ga over my presence. :)

  9. I liked this episode. Besides the fact that we find a race that is EXACTLY like native Americans, the story is plausable. Who knows in our distant past how many "Gods" were simply visiting beings with superior technology? An interesting question. If Kirk had all his gear, he could have easily ruled the planet. It was also interesting to see how a simple life without all of the pressures of modern society can be quite fullfilling.

Plus, of course,.........Miramanee was hot!... :mad1:

As Picard and Riker were discussing on the Clipper Ship Enterprise towards the beginning of "Generations".
