  1. There will never be a "last episode" or "last movie" till we're hopping the galaxy in Starships. :) Unlike most sci-fi stories, Star Trek can go on forever, there's no limit.  All you need is a good imagination.

Star Trek IS the hope of the future and WILL remain in everyones hearts for years and years to come... or great great great grandchildren will watch Star Trek. It is more than a show it's our destiny.

  2. ENT isn't the "fans worst series", just the most complained about. :)

Anywho, my favorite aspect is the the never-ending story element.  You can change the ship, cast, write out characters, do whatever you want.  Space is endless, the people are in the future, the possibilities are endless.  This is why I love Star Trek.  The sky's the limit!

sorry if i claimed ENT to be the worst series, i think it is great, but i just heard so many complaints.

  3. I wish they had more bloody and gruesome scenes in ST, why PG it?

For example: the Klingons are suppose to be this ultimate warrior, CRAP, i havent seen them slash anyones head with that thing they got, all u hear is a slash of the sword. Not even a blood splatter.

  4. I havent read the story either, but sometimes story plots can cross over, who hasnt heard of that? What fans should start doing is start likeing the episode of what it is, a thing of entertainment instead of analyzing it to the details. Once you analyze it would not be fun anymore.

  5. It's this simple - the advertisers don't know what they're doing. :)

The "arrow" with the arch at the bottom, that was originally the insigina for Kirk's Enterprise in a time when each ship had a different insignia, however, Kirk's Enterprise insignia was adopted by all of Starfleet by the time of the first movie.  We won't be seeing it on ENT.  The silly advertisers simply used it becuase it looks "kewl".

As for the title Star Trek: Enterprise?  Well, it's simple really.  When Season 2 was being advertised, they called the show Star Trek: Enterprise, even after the season premiere with the first few Season 2 episodes.  However, the show was still called Enterprise.  The advertisers call it Star Trek: Enterprise becuase they know it's Star Trek and don't know enough that it was dropped from the title.  Expect the title to simply be ENTERPRISE durring the intro of "The Xindi".

Why did this happen?  Simple - the advertisers don't know a lot about the show and aren't connected with the producers and those who make the show.  Just another thing that shows how pathetic UPN is, they don't even know the name of one of their own shows!

I agree with you, but I think the show would be more powerful if they used Star Trek: Enterprise as an opening title. Just Enterprise creates a lot of stir, yes some people think that it is called this becuase it is pre-frederation, but I think it looses some sense of genunie quality.

  6. Kathryn Janeway - "Micromisum"

    Chakotay - "Tattoo"

    Tuvok - "Meld"

B'Elanna Torres - "Barge of the Dead"

Tom Paris - "Ex Posto Facto"

    Harry Kim - "The Chute"

The Doctor - "Body and Soul"

Seven of Nine - "Human Error"

    Neelix - "Tuvix/ Homestead"

    Kes - "Before and After"

  7. Well, it could start as VOY continuining into a new series, with new people, we can have Janeway, Seven, Harry Kim, Tuvock for some seasons, but then it would diverge into a whole new cast. Janeway can do something dramatic with the Borg and then feel that she needs to take a break and get a 'desk job', while some of the mian characters remain on VOY and be guest stars.

  8. I believe that the Borg will advance and evolve into something newer and evil. I personally think that they will team up with an alliance of another species say 8472 and take down the federation. Janeway being the admiral can think of wheter she wants to take on this pursuit or not and Seven can also be involved saying that she wants to do whatever within her power to stop this new threat. Chakotay could try to stop her, but his efforts will be futle, lol. Harry Kim can be promoted and Tom Paris could finally settle down with Torres, leaving room for a new pilot and engineer. If this was a new movie then it can be called

Star Trek: Revisited or Star Trek: Assimilated

reuniting the cast of VOY or making an entirely new series. Note: we can still have the doc and Tuvock. Although I really dont see Tuvock doing another series, he said in an chat that he would love to do a movie. Also Chakotay can stay at home ((with his bundle of joy)) as well so we can have a new first officer that eventually fallls in love with Janeway.

  9. I love meld. The issue is that a mind of a killer is something that always troubled me. I am going to be a psychologist, but I question to whether i should take a course in Criminal Psychology. I do not believe that a person could be so bad that it takes a Vulcan, to change his mentality (cause its fiction). What i do think is needed is just for a criminal mind just to have a friend to understand him/her.

  10. I like Homestead, it really showed him to be in charge and kick some a**. Neelix I think rocks and I do not know why people really dont like him, he is a lovelable character which made me relax in the tense situations. He knew how to have fun and he also knew how to be serious.

  11. I love the episode Ex Posto Facto!!! It was the first episode of VOY I watched and of ST, it warped me in (as i mentioned in another post). He was dramatic and it made a big impact, it made me question how i would feel if i was murdered, my last ten minuets living, but for me to relive it over and over.

  12. Any idiot who said that the Borg was overused was completely illogical, I mean they were in the area where Borg was most abundant so of course they would bump into them. The only time where I saw them overused was in Q2, but it was just a kid that knew that Janeway worked her best when she was tensed.

  13. I love Barge of the Dead, when Torres found out that VOY was her hell, I was so shocked. The thing is that I loved the love that she had for her mother, I would go to hell to save my mothers life and if I had to switch souls to rescue my mother then I would.

  14. The only way I could see this work is if they had Janeway's sister, if she had one, was on board of VOY while the ship was abducted. Her sister could of had extensive strarfleet training and always tried her hardest to take command in some episodes, then when Janeway died the emotional element could take place.

    Scene

(A Dieing Janeway:) Sarah (or whatever her sister's name would be), you know I always suspected to be the one who would die before you. (a little laughter, and a cough)

Sarah: Please, don't leave me, what about the ship? Who would take command?

Janeway: Well, I was thinking of someone who already tried on my shoes.

    Sarah: Chakotay?

    (They laugh)

Janeway: I need you to take command, I seen you in action before and know that you are perfect for the job... (another cough, somehow I always seen tv people when they die cough)

    Sarah: Please, don't die...

(she feels a lifeless hand and it drops to the floor, emotional music is played and then dynamic music, we see Chakotay near the doorway of the medical room. She gently places her sisters hand on her stomach.)

Sarah (tells the doctor): Place her in stasis. (Presses the com badge)

    Tom: Yes... ?

Sarah: Set a course to home, Tom, the place where my sister always wanted to be, we will not send off her corpse in this dam* place, not while I am captain.

(As Sarah and Chakotay walk out of the medical room, the lights dim and the camera zooms in on the cold death look of Captain Janeway, first female captain of the Starship Voyager)

  15. I hate this, I cannot remember the show title, but the episode that has possessed my mind was when Tom Paris was accused of a murder he didnt commit and he had to relive his 'killer's' thoughts the last 10 mins before he died, but the problem that consisted was that it was bring harm to Tom Paris' brain. (It was the first episode I saw of VOY, and it warped me in)

  16. I do not think I would be handle the dissapointment, sadly to say I think I would of committed sucicide. Just to know that the people I love are out there thinking I'm probably dead would have me heartbroken, but I have always thought about leaving home and never returning, my home isnt bad its just so hard to be open to the ones you love, to live lies just to make them happy. The only person who I truly like in this world is my mother, everyone seems to betray people have critical views and just be selish. Yes they do have people who care for people, but what 10% out of 90%, who really truly would care for people. After a while for being depressed I think that I would eventually get over it, but I would really think about staying with a friendly alien civilization, maybe telepaths, not the ones in Remember, but ones more powerful and strong. I love psychology and the mind and I would spend hours with a telepath allowing him to go inside my mind and take control to study me and my past, to understand how I hurt and feel. I will tell the culture about humans and how horrible they can be, and also their strengths and greatness, but I would tell them that they should never visit the planet if they have the opportunity, beucase of the bias minds that are against anyone who want to be different. I would never regret living with another alien civilization.

  17. I believe that the technology was used specifically for the episode of Endgame, yes the tech was used before Admiral Janeway came to rescue VOY (That was still in the Delta Quadrant), but we need to take consideration that while they were traveling in that space tunnel thingy, their shielding went down (I believe). I think that Admiral Janeway and Captain Janeway thought it would be best not to keep record of how to construct the technology to perserve the timeline as if VOY never met the species 2403.

  18. I would say that Seven would defeat Torres becuase she doesnt let her emotions get to her. If they were to fight to the death, then Seven's human emotions might just get in the way, but with her Borg memory, nothing would get in her way.

  19. Oh my god, this is so funny, you should really get this thing posted in a book or something.... 'Star Trek Screw Ups for our Future'. This is the part I liked the best...

    Phasers

I would love to have a device that would stun people into unconsciousness without killing them. I would use it ten times a day. If I got bad service at the convenience store, I'd zap the clerk. If somebody with big hair sat in front of me at the theater, zap!

On Star Trek, there are no penalties for stunning people with phasers. It happens all the time. All you have to do is claim you were possessed by an alien entity. Apparently, that is viewed as a credible defense in the Star Trek future. Imagine real criminals in a world where the 'alien possession' defense is credible.

  20. I personally believe that Archer is one of the characters that someone has to grow to like, but he shouldnt be... he is the captain and the star of the show and should be dramatic and have a impact on every trekkie/ non-trekkie out there. This is why Picard, Sisko, and Janeway, and Kirk were great actors, they touched everyone. To the original posting I would not like to see a darker side of Archer, but i would like to see him take more risk and chances as he does with the Andorians.

  21. I agree with CJLP, it would probably advance later on in the series. I would like to see the traditional uniforms rather than what they are wearing now, I mean the designer who came up with that thing must really like working under cars or something....

  22. I would like to see a lot more emotion therefore adding more controversy with her and the Vulcan Senate. They could say that humans are making her irrational, but then she could just tell them that humans are perfecting the vulcan race....which eventually allows more Vulcans to decide to join Starfleet.
