  1. Although these shows might have had aliens as main stars, these aliens have been the main focus point for the Star Trek Series (my source, www.StarTrek.com)

Normal Aliens: Vulcans, Andorians, Ferengi (as seen with all Star Trek Series)

    The Original Series:

Klingon, the tension with ENT caused a ripple affect that reached out to this series, (speaking about the movies)

    Enterprise:

Klingons - tension have aroused with them in this season causing a ripple affect throught the rest of the series

    The Next Generation -

The Quintinum "Q"- This culuture was seen in the pilot and the fanile, threatening earth. Picard had to show that he was worthy to these omnipotent like creatures, to save the future of Earth.

    Deep Space Nine-

The Cardassian threat- which later on caused a ripple affect continuing through the Voyager Series

    Voyager-

The Borg- Backwashes the FIRST CONTACT mission as seen with The Next Generation

So does anyone agree, disagree, or want to add on anything?

  2. If you guys love Egyptian Mythology then I highly recommed the game 'Age of Mythology' by Ensemble Studios. I learned so much about the Egyptian, Norse, and Greek myths. It enhanced what I already knew. Also, the game is a built-in simulational 3D Engine and excellent; the reason for the 3D Engine is that in the opening sinatmatics, there is an introductional movie to the 'journey' that you will embark on as a mythical hero. The game begins as you being a hero of the Greek Ledgend Arkantos, and then merges into you being the Egyptian Hero, and then finally a hero of the Norse Ledgends. The game is really enjoyable and highly addictive.

  3. Going to a Star Trek Convenstion is a new dream of mine. I would defineity like to go to the Star Trek Museum, in Europe. Just to get more of an inspriging flavor to my science fiction fantasy, will greatly make me feel as if I am more becoming an intellectual. Evolving my intellect side.

  4. Chakotay was a character that I cam competely relate to, being Native American myself I tend to have  conflictions  regarding my ansestrial culuture. Most of my family records have been destroyed, maybe all and there is no clear indication to whom I can relate to as a past lineage. Almost nearly everything in refernce to me and my family has been 'assimilated.' I even decided to have 'Ahane Falzon' as my new name when I grow up, to honor the lineage past who developed the person whom I am today. I, of course, do know that my experiences and life chocies makes up my characteristics today, but I do strongly believe that knowing my past will help me develop a better future. Knowing my past will allow me to understand directly the composites of my genetic struture down to the roots. Making me understand the question like, Why my hair is long and black, Why I have a deep love for nature (and horses :wow:). The episode that Takara_Soong made reference to also was one of my top five episodes that delievered a deep passion in wanting to trace my roots, hopefully, they will have new technology in this world that will be able to trace my roots through just a blood sample.

  5. I really think that if they changed the uniforms then it would not be the "Lost Star Trek Voyager" the whole entire point of the series, was a ship 70,000 lightyears away from Earth (Federation). If they updated their uniforms then it would be as if they have their gleam of hope destined for them to return home, in this case, they were completely relying on fate, where anything can happen.

  6. The episode that dragged me in was called Ex Post Facto.

After Paris is convicted of a murder he swears he didn't commit, Tuvok must play detective to clear him.

Kim returns to the U.S.S. Voyager from the Banean homeworld with shocking news: Paris has been found guilty of murder. As his punishment, he's been sentenced to relive the crime from his victim's perspective every 14 hours, thanks to memory engrams implanted in his brain by a Banean doctor. Kim recounts how he and Paris were introduced to an engineering physicist named Tolen Ren, who they hoped could help them repair a damaged piece of equipment. Paris took an immediate interest in Ren's young, attractive wife Lidell, and when Ren turned up dead, he was arrested.

I didnt get a good chance to see Voyager during their regular seasons, but UPN played all of the episodes during the summer weekly after the original season fanile. Oh, by the way welcome to the Fourm

  7. I really think if I was to have dinner with anyone on Voyager it would be with Torres (the character), being a species who viewed their lives on Voyager I would sit and discuss the deep emotional episode where she saved her mothers' soul from Klingon hell. Sometimes I was confused of Torres' true intententions of love either if there were more for the mother, father, or neither. I guess she is more like me beucase I really do not have any effections over my parents, but if my mother was doomed for hell, I would do anything to save her. My father- unsure.

Lt. Commander you said a mouth full. You said some of the main reasons why B'Elanna's character and role on Voyager was so powerful. Her passions and emotions were so deep. Her life was so beset with relationship struggles that many, many of us could identify with. Personally I had a very stresfull relationship with my mother. But like B'Elanna, I would come to her rescue if I could.(By the way the episode you spoke of "Barge Of The Dead" was one of my favorite episodes) Yes, B'Elanna was indeed a memorable crew mate.......I had the opportunity to meet and talk with Roxanne Dawson at a Star Trek convention a year ago. She autograped her book and a photograph for me. It truly was the high light of my convention experience  !!!!!

Yes, Torres is a gripping controversial character and I think that is what makes her such a good center piece for the Voyager crew. The one episode where I really did not like her in was 'Remember,' but she played it so powerfully that it drawed me closer to know the real emotional feelings of Torres. She really defined the Klingon Empire.

  8. by all means yes, in my opinion it was rivaled by only tng... even so..if your content with soso quality there all on kazaa for free

KaZaa is crappy due to the pop ups and spywear, get Ares for quality downloads  OMG I am sounding like an advertisment.

  9. All these spoiler clicks are getting on my nerves. I really think that last nights episode was great although I really couldnt enjoy it as much as I wanted to due to personal matters. Not to drift from the subject, the suspense was excellent and it made me think about the next two back-to-back episodes. The first hour I am going to watch, but T'Pol getting Pon Far will make me throw up in gallons, we already know she is a beautiful actress why does she need to flaunt off her 'Vulcan Stuff' to humans. I would think that they would of at least saved it for the seventh season, why didnt she take care of this problem before going on the ship?

  10. Hmm, although I am not a TNG fanatic, I think about a new thing about a 'starfleet coverup'. I really think that by Voyager being in the Delta Quadrant really stired up some tensions in the Borg Queen do this past knowledge of 'Regeneration,' therefore the reasons of her silence non lethal attacks on the tiny vessle in space. She wanted to ponder about how this new phase of action. Will it give her an edge on the Borg Perfection, or a crippling blow. Then I thought to myself that they might not have a connection with the 24th century - 22nd century occurances, and this just might be a diabolical attempt to raise the ratings of the startrek minds. Of course everything in Star Trek is related closly with time, but we also have to remember that the directors are working their hardest to have high ratings, with the legendary Gene Roddenberry died loss of direction seemed to sweep through the entire enterprise (the empire not the ship).

    :dude: :o :laugh: :o :o :o :o :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

  11. Click for Spoiler:

When Trip becomes a hard as* becuse of of the alien killingout personal family members will make an exciting new twist to the plot. I personally feel that Trip was always a dinamic character, but nether the less young and immature in his ways. As we see in 'Cogenetor' he risked a growing and meaninful relationship with overadvanced species. Hopefully, the relationship of Reed and the other woman species will make up for the loss worthy need of a growing relationship. Trip will become vengeful true, but I personally think that Archer would think that being vengeful will not be the true answer to solve their problem. I predict that Trips irrational thinking will lead Enterprise into risky business that will lead to 'shock and awe' results.

I added the spoiler tag, poguemahone

  12. 13. I think the that becuase Seven of Nine never went to the actual baby shower made the fans neglect to see the actual shower. Remember that it was her development story plot. Also, by it being a simulation, I think the characters would of really behaved that way. I think I wouldnt like to see a replay of a baby shower. What bothers me is that they didnt have a wedding. I would of enjoyed to see a 23rd century wedding. Nemesis wedding really didnt make me emotional becuase I really did not have enough feelings for the two actors.

  14. I think people are neglecting the logicstics of Voyager.... think about all the knowledge the people have gained in the late (what was it, 23rd century) Picard and Kirk (not to mention Archer) all survived terrible fates in their quadrant. Although that Voyager was lost, they had the spirit and determinition of kicking it through the Delta Quadrant. I believe that they made terrific allies that helped them through the way and made some daring mission tasks.

  15. I could be wrong, but what if the Borg Queen's conscience is just data from a computer. What makes it that our memories and our thoughts our feelings and are passions cannot be limited through one memory chip. Maybe this is just what the Borg needs to recognize they are, just advanced computers gone wild. Whatever conscience this Queen has is just the sophisicated programming of the maker. This might seem so small scaled, but all the freaky computer movies that I saw tried to take over the world they were just loads of data programmed by this hardcore programmer. I think the entire answer that needs to be answered is who created the Borg, who was the first one to be assimilated. Obviously, I think that someone tried to assimilate themselves trying to gain a deeper understanding of lifes most personal struggles, but accidently instead of gaining the deeper understanding, made herself and others 'the monster;' which is simply just a messed up computer chip.

Some of lifes hardest questions can be answered through small things.
