  1. This movie was excellent, I have seen some really aweful historical films, but CBS has a freaky way of adding in excitment to a historical drama.

    \/ not a spoiler, it's just a little off-the-topic

PBS is learning (lol), but not quite learned the ropes, there was just one historical episode they did on PBS that I really enjoyed and that was 'Rome: In the 1st Century'. Must of been because I loved Mythology and Rome History....

Summary of Hitler: Rise of Evil paraphrasing"Evil will be successful if Good Men do Nothing."

  2. I voted for the Mole...I caught up with what I think was the second season (where Bill was discovered to be the mole)... I loved that game, and really liked some of the games they played like the market game in Italy, and the bungee jumping thing or the tracking game, or the fun house(anyone remember the room that had the disco ball and played "Tiny Bubbles" all night?)

Now, Celebrity Mole on the other hand really stunk in my opinion, it was contrived, stupid, and so obvious who was the mole since all but one person was so fake!

I felt that Dorthy was an excellent game player in this game. I am crossing my fingers for a summer 'The Mole'. The Celeberty Game was awesome as well, but it would be cool if they had more modern/up to date celebrities. Felt Sorry for that 'Dinotpoia' Kid, he lost the game and got a canceled tv show.

  3. I think it would be fun if we started a thread adding in information about what the cast of Voyager is doing now...

So far this is the info I know....

Naomi Wildman is in the New WB Hit Show Reba

Chakotay guest stared in CSI: Original Series

  4. The Real Naomi Wildman- Kyra Hart

Thirteen-year-old Scarlett Pomers has years of work already under her belt. She appeared for three seasons as Naomi Wildman on Star Trek: Voyager and had a recurring role on That's Life. Now she stars as Reba's (Reba McEntire) youngest daughter Kyra in The WB's hit comedy Reba.

  5. They are like a part of my family and if I lost them I would mourn their loss as I would that of a family member.

If any of the Star Trek Voyager Crew (character / actor) I would cry, their strong sense of acting dragged me into Gene Roddenberry's world. It tore at my emotions and I view life differently now. Younger, I always used to critize the differences of people and made fun of the peers that were to be considered the 'geeks' / 'nerds', when I watched an episode of VOY, Captain Janeway seemed to treat aliens not cut throat and rutless, but the tender loving care of a mother. She cared for her crew members the same way she would care for a hurt alien vessle with faint biosings on board. Tom Paris' personal struggles with his father is something I can relate to, and Harry Kim's relationship delimmas (lol). Kes' deep emotional evolutionary struggle, I can relate to as I evolve more mentally (emotionally) day by day. Torres I can relate to becuase my anger does get the best of me sometimes, and the Doctor's identiy cricis of being accepted in the world that pushes him away becuase he is different, Seven of Nine had the same problem of wanting to be accepted in the world, and I saw her gift of playing the piano to be an inspiration for me to continue to practice the violin (as well as the performances of the EMH, and Harry Kim's Oboe playing... hehehe). Chakotay's inner struggles with being Native American is especially a core issue in my life bing native american as well, I have competely assimilated myself into the American Culture and lost my heritage along the way. As my gradfather died with his knowledge, I yern to know more about my culture.... Anyways, what I tried to point out is that the Voyager Crew will always share a special place in my heart.

  6. Or maybe, spookily, he is Chakotay! Maybe this is some wierd, new Borg plot to infiltrate the Voyager crew and turn them into profesional boxers, thus eradicating their knowledge of their anti-Borg weapons, thus paving the way to Earth!!! Who will Janeway turn into? Find out, on the next edtion of Voyager...

    ...or maybe not... :)

Please, enough with the psycotics... LOL

  7. YES!!! I evened up the votes 5/5 I voted for Janeway because she was competely awesome in Future's End and Year of Hell. She faced so many personal struggles while being captain, and the ultimate struggle of being the first woman captain of a starship federation space ship. She was taken advantage of by the Kazon Sect, and they made it clear that they disrespected women. She was excellnet in easing that tension.

  8. I like Chakotay, but I did find him being annoying questioning Janeway. I am unsure if he did it becuase she was a woman captain, against starfleet, or just doing his job. He did make good points and made Janeway rethink her actions, but it just seemed over done.

  9. I really think that it would of been more fun to have the Borg Children remain of Voyager. I just found it a little odd on how almost all the Delta Quadrant aliens remained in the Delta Quadrant and didnt travel to the Alpha Quadrant.

    My list....

    Borg Children

    Neelix

    Kes

The only Delta Alien I think that remained on board to go to the Alpha Quadrant was Icheb.... I really think it would of been better if Neelix went along with them instead of

him getting married and remaining on the Asteroid Homeworld.

  10. It is funny that I came across this post thread because I just saw the episode 'The Disease' last night. It was interesting how Harry Kim almost gave up his entire career just for the love of a alien women he just meet a few days. The intense romance between them (i think) impared his judgement and therefore broke protocol because of the strong emotional bond between them. Yet again I came to think about it more and wondered if the female just used Harry to get her task complete, manipulating him to get her to do her plan. Harry Kim always fell in traps of love, but hopefully he realized from this 7 year adventure that the true love he always desired was waiting for him back on Earth.

  11. Here's a question.  In "Fury", an episode involving time travel, we get to see the crew as they were durring the first season.  I thought they did a good job except for 3 things I thought they goofed on.

One of them was Chakotay's hair.  How come it didn't look shorter and grayer?  They could'a put him in a bald cap and given him a season 1 wig or something in the event he didn't want his hair cut.

It would of messed him up. And also I didnt see Chakotay too much as I saw Janeway, so changing his hair style really didnt bring too much emphaisis on the story plot.

Anyways, I loved Seven's hairstyle, but I think they should of at least changed it sometimes. She should of had her hair styled the way they had her in the episode of Unimartrix Zero, for the last season.

  12. Ok these spoilers are getting on my nerves... BIG TIME. Anyway, to add my thoughts, I would like ENT to stray from the original plot of the Romulan war and go more into the Temporary Cold War. Having the Temparary Cold War as a main plot for the last season can cause a ripple effect if they wanted to start a series show involving the time after Voyager.

  13. Although these shows might have had aliens as main stars, these aliens have been the main focus point for the Star Trek Series (my source, www.StarTrek.com)

Normal Aliens: Vulcans, Andorians, Ferengi (as seen with all Star Trek Series)

    The Original Series:

Klingon, the tension with ENT caused a ripple affect that reached out to this series, (speaking about the movies)

    Enterprise:

Klingons - tension have aroused with them in this season causing a ripple affect throught the rest of the series

    The Next Generation -

The Quintinum "Q"- This culuture was seen in the pilot and the fanile, threatening earth. Picard had to show that he was worthy to these omnipotent like creatures, to save the future of Earth.

    Deep Space Nine-

The Cardassian threat- which later on caused a ripple affect continuing through the Voyager Series

    Voyager-

The Borg- Backwashes the FIRST CONTACT mission as seen with The Next Generation

So does anyone agree, disagree, or want to add on anything?

Andorrians have only been seen in TOS & ENT. THe Ferengi were featured on TNG & DS9, only appeared twice on VOY, once on ENT, and were never seen in TOS.

    The Next Generation

The Q were seen many times on TNG, but they only judged humanity in the pilot and finale.

    Deep Space Nine

The Cardassians were also allied with the Dominion durring the Dominion/Federation war durring DS9's last 2 seasons, in case you were interrested.

    Voyager

Can you rephrase what you were saying about VOY?

Ok, I am unsure where the Borg where first seen, but by them perimering in TNG, VOY picked up on that story
