  1. I am a third, third child, a third after my name, but officially, I do not like to write it on anything and just put my middle name... Does it really count if I am a third if I have a different middle name, this was a contemplation with my family.

  2. The elections of CA do not suprise me, it is crazy as it is. Whatever the previous senator/mayor/whatever did to get a bad rep, I think he might of deserved it and needs to be recalled. As for the intellegent life being found in CA, I would still need some more evidence to allow myself to believe in your findings... its not that i dont trust you, but its that heck, It's CA....

Two aliens are part of a band of "con artists" who believe that they've stumbled upon the greatest scam of their careers: Impersonating Janeway and her senior officers. Using their new Starfleet identities, they move from system to system engaging in a series of lucrative deceptions. Eventually, the real Janeway and her crew are blamed for these deceptions when the con artists do not deliver the goods as promised. Ultimately, the Voyager crew must bring the imposters to justice.

    Click for Spoiler:

Neelix and Paris remember that they met two clerics named Dala and Mobar three weeks earlier while on shore leave. Apparently while Neelix and Paris weren't paying attention, Voyager's entire database was downloaded from the Delta Flyer. As a result, Dala and Mobar were able to obtain the information they wanted in order to pose as Federation officers.

In an attempt to track down the con artists, Janeway asks Orek, a Telsian who has been cheated by Dala and Mobar, for access to the scans of the imposters' vessel in order to derive their warp signature. Meanwhile, Paris and Neelix are frustrated with themselves for being duped so easily.

Back on the bridge, Tuvok detects a vessel whose warp signature matches the imposter's ship they are looking for. There's a larger vessel alongside the imposters which belongs to Varn, another angry alien who also was duped by the two con artists. Dala tells Varn that their "mothership" Voyager has arrived to defend them. Varn's ship begins firing at Voyager. The starship is successfully able to strike Varn's ships with its phasers, and knock out the tractor beam holding Dala's vessel.

Janeway instruct Seven to transport everyone on Dala's vessel to Voyager. However, because Voyager's transporters are damaged, Seven is only able to beam Dala onto the ship. Aboard Voyager, Dala refuses to reveal a detailed account of everyone they cheated, as well as the location of the stolen property. Janeway instructs Tuvok to hail Telsian Security and tell them that they have a prisoner to turn over (pulling a scam on Dala herself by relating how barbaric Telsian prisons are). In actuality, Janeway doesn't want Tuvok to call the Telsians just yet because she wants Dala to sit and think for awhile first.

Neelix visits Dala in the brig and engages in a heart-to-heart conversation with her regarding her options. However, when Neelix turns the other way, Dala knocks him to the ground and grabs the phaser from his belt. She takes off running down a corridor and stuns Tuvok with the phaser. She climbs inside the Delta Flyer and immediately escapes at warp speed.

Dala catches up with Mobar and Zar, a third con artist posing as Chakotay, and asks them to beam her aboard. In the meantime, Paris has been hiding in the Delta Flyer. He activates the mobile emitter and the Doctor shimmers in. Paris and the Doctor successfully capture Dala and the Doctor then turns into Dala in holographic disguise. He beams himself to the bridge of the imposters' vessel and cleverly manipulates Mobar and Zar into revealing the location of their stolen loot. Meanwhile, Voyager is waiting in the wings, and the two remaining con artists are apprehended.

I really thought that this was a good episode and believe that it wasn't too be taken seriously, (as a VOY event / dramatic impact) but it makes you question on why people do cons. I really don't understand why people would do this crime, for thrills, kicks, or a mental disease? This episdode also brings about an important topic, stolen identity, is it really a big problem, and if so what can we do about it?

    Please write a response.... :bow: :) :bow::bow: :) :) :lol:

The taut sci-fi drama tells the story of a team of astronauts who undertake a daring and desperate rescue mission to Mars, where a previous mission has met with tragedy. Click for Spoiler:

As their craft nears the planet, dramatic events put the mission and the lives of the rescuers in doubt. Desperate measures save three of the four rescuers. When they arrive on the planet, they discover a survivor (Don Cheadle) and begin to sort out his incredible story. The crew then investigates an alien monument that could be responsible for dooming the first mission.

  9. The time when I heard about this, I had the inate feeling that it wasnt due to terrorist activity. I just think it was too spur of the moment and disorganized to be something that a terrorist could think of. I am just glad that people are safe and the power is coming on slowly, but I heard that it would take days?!?! New York is already crazy as it is and doesnt need this. Number One City on my list not to visit.

    B) (Ok, maybe I am just being paranoid.)

  10. I wish stupid guys would get the thought out of their heads thinking they actually had a chance with either Roxann Dawson or Jeri Ryan, GET REAL PEOPLE, its only tv.

hey now, who ya calling stupid just cause i thought she's cute, or sweet to look at. i know i dont have a chance in hell with any of them B) but their nice to look at, and hey dreamin is always a good thing :( oh well a little too much dreaming can lead to B) so i know when to stop B)

I just believe that someone should watch a show becuase the people there are heartthrobs. They should look at the show for what it is, a thing of entertainment. Really didnt mean to offend anyone. B)

  11. The Breach was an excellent episode, as I said in a previous post, this is a perfect physical test for Maywheater. It was suspenceful and had me to the edge of my seat, the only question is why would geologists try so hard, even today to risk their lives for information? I guess it is to help their civilization. With the dangers of space exploration, we still go up and do experiments in order to solve sickness' also the joy of exploration cannot be anymore rewarding... Take the risk and get out there and explore the wonders of our world... both above ground and below.

If I was Phlox, I would do whatever it takes to cure a sick patient, even if it was the devil.... After all its the doctor's oath to help your enemies.

  12. The Horizon is what I would call a "one hit wonder", it was good for one time, but if it doesn't affect you emotionally, it would probably becuase one does not have the emotion of loosing a loved one, as close as a father. Mayweather is excellent showing his emotions in this episode, beucase this is how I would react if I heard about my fathers death. Me and my father doesnt have the incridible relationship, and we hardly ever speak or express emotions. If he ever died, then I wouldn't even know if I would cry. I would be strong for my mother, but really would have no emotion, because during my life he was just another person who did the science to give me life. Back to the episode, Mayweather showed excellent skills in order to try to influence his brother that Starfleet is not just a fancy trip in space. I really hope to see him in more episodes, both testing his emotional and physical skills.

  13. Heck,

    Click for Spoiler:

I'm gay, and dont really think that either of the two women were attractive

they were good-looking, but I do not care about looks in women when they are on tv. I look for great acting skills and for them to be able to take the stress when the spotlight is on them. Personally I had some delimma's with the plot roles that Torres had, but you said in an ealier post that she was just one of those characters that you either liked or disliked. Seven of Nine's character plots were extremely moving, and made me cry most of the time, as in Human Error. I just view a tv show as a show and that is it, nothing more and nothing less, I wish stupid guys would get the thought out of their heads thinking they actually had a chance with either Roxann Dawson or Jeri Ryan, GET REAL PEOPLE, its only tv.

  14. I really do not think anyone can contemplate the ethical issues of the show Endgame, except Janeway. You have to understand that when she time traveled back into the past she was just facing herself and her issues of being that stubborn hyporcrite that she always was. I believe that this was a powerful episode, but if I was in Admiral Janeway's shoes, I would not go back to the past even if I knew the outcome. It is far to risky to just tamper with time, and as far as we know the 31st century now is in complete shambles, probably due to how careless people think of the 'Almighty Temporal Directive'. Even now in this world we are tampering with the timeline as we go to psychics that appear to predict our futures, it makes us paranoid and feel completely invuenerable, it makes people believe in fate and not allow them to take a hold of their destiny. Instead of going in the past, Admiral Janeway should of crossed the entire universe trying to find a cure for Tuvock, or even suggested to the EMH to take him out of the pain and misery that he was in. I know this might make a lot of people angry with me, but Tuvock's mind was in pain, think about being in pain everyday, not even knowing who your true friends are. Admiral Janeway seemed to forget a little something when she went back into the past, but when she heard the speech from Harry Kim, she knew that they didnt care about the dangers of the situation, but the entire trip was dedicated 'To the Journey'. The journey of hope and peace and when they reached home, they did loose a lot of loved ones, but that is the way life goes, and no one should tamper with it. Again with the Tuvock issue, if I learned that I developed a fatal disease, and knew that it was something that happened to me in the past, of course I would try to go into the past and prevent myself from getting it, but knowing myself I would probably ignore my futureself leading more harm to me, becoming paranoid. Without the influence of Star Trek, I, and everyone would just ack in primal nature, beucase we all want this world and our lives to be bright and happy and easier. Because we do have Star Trek's warning with the Temporal Directive and other SCI-FI warnings we think twice about messing with the past (if we had the opportunity).

  15. I hate when they always pull the Auto-Destruct stunt and at the last moment they call it off. COME ON ALREADY, I just would like too see them actually use it, and then they can have a new model of ENT. We have seen so many new model ships of TNG, why not with ENT??

  16. I voted for Fanatic, although I havent had a chance to see all of the episodes. I have read a lot on startrek.com, and LOVE them. The series that I was hooked on is VOY and now ENT.
