  1. There's a picture of three Xindi subraces over at Startrekkie.com, I posted it here under a spoiler. If you want to see, take a look. Sorry, if its too big.

They look pretty much what I thought they would but I'm very impressed with the Reptilian. I' m really looking forward to seeing the other two sub races. The make-up department is really showing its stuff

  2. Click for Spoiler:

I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who avoids spoilers but will Raijin (sp?) the character from the episode of the same name, be a recurring character? Has anyone heard this? Nikita Ager, the actress who plays Raijin is listed as a castmember on Enterprise on the internrt movie database. Odd.

  3. I'm going to enjoy being able to see Enterprise again. I live in Cambridge, Ontario and haven't seen Enterprise since at least the first week of August. CityTV (The network Enterprise airs on) has been showing movies. Needless to say that I'm glad the new season begins soon.

  4. I think the Voyager line does nothing to impede Enterprise because it lacks continuity credibility. Starfleet had subspace transmitters by at least 2168, as established in "A Piece of the Action". There have also been several references to starships which did not require the crew to go into the stasis ie: the Archon, the Essex, the Horizon in the 2160's. As well as the fact that the crew going into stasis would put a cramp on the Romulan War. So, the Voyager line does not impede Enterprise as a series because it really doesn't have any supporting facts.

  5. I'm interested in who you want to see guest star on Enterprise. I'd like to see the two actors in my avatar to guest on Enterprise. I could see Kiefer Sutherland as the captain of the NX-02. I think Dennis Haysbert would be great as a Klingon or perhaps a Xindi-Humanoid or Sloth. So, who do you want to see?

  6. After my previous poll, I believed that this would be a relevant topic for discussion. Which character will develop the most in season 3? I'm not sure :spock: . I think Archer is in for a change and Mayweather and Hoshi are in definite need of expansion.Of course, T'pol and Trip have had major events in their lives and now are beginning a new phase in their lives and Phlox and Reed will face new challenges as well. And then there's the MACOs and everybody's favourite Porthos. You can see why I'm unable to decide. What are your thoughts?

  7. In the episode Aquiel of TNG Communications officers wore blue. Perhaps they switched to red in the TOS era and back to blue in the TNG/DS9/VGR era. Paramount also probably chose to give the crew more variety since the only members of the principal cast who would wear blue don't wear Starfleet uniforms.

  8. I highly doubt it was him. He would have been on DS9, and since Worf was commanding the defiant I assumed that Sisko did not want to fight the Borg because of his experience at Wolf 359. Interestingly, in FC Kelsey Grammer reprises his role of Captain Morgan Bateson. It is an uncredited sound bite you can hear in the comm chatter, since the Bozeman (Bateson's ship) fights in the fleet.

  9. I did some research about the names Akagi and Yamato.

Yamato: Ancient name of Japan and particularly the province of western Honshu where Japanese civilization began and where the early capitals were located also the clan from which all emperors of Japan are descended, claiming the sun-goddess as ancestor.

    Akagi: A mountain in Japan

So lets more or less assume that they were named for these things and not the warships. I mean there was a U.S.S. Berlin

  10. What about that Grant guy in Friday's Child? He was dead within 30 seconds of beaming down! He just got hit with one of those kligat things after he pulled out his phaser. I'm not sure if he had a line!

  11. I'd have no problem if they reuse races over again. However, I don't think they'll be using the original Ventaxians. Of course, it could be the same race since the Klingons first made contact with them and the Klingons have been in the Delphic Expanse. Anyway, it would just seem odd if there were two races with the same name.

  12. My Series 6 Idea

    Star Trek: Challenger

I built this idea off of Timeless (VGR) or at least the idea of Geordi LaForge as captain of a ship in the future. Similar to previous Treks but the main cast is made up of previous side and one shot characters:

Captain: Captain Geordi LaForge (LeVar Burton)

First officer: Commander Christopher Hobson (Timothy Carhart)

Chief Medical Officer: Commander Alyssa Ogawa (Patti Yasutake)

Chief Engineer: Lt. Commander Vorik (Alexander Enberg)

Operations Officer: Lt. Sam Lavelle (Dan Ganthier)

Science Officer: Lt. Samantha Wildman (Nancy Hower)

Tactical Officer: Lt. Commander Lisa Neeley (Sarah MacDonnell)

Conn Officer: Lt. (j.g.) Pablo Baytart (?)

Communications Officer: Lt. Aquiel Uhnari (Renee Jones)

Or a series similar to DS9 profiling the Romulan War from an outpost on the front possibly including Shran in the cast.

  13. I usually don't post on this board but I thought that this would be an interesting topic. Recently Walter Keonig suggested that series VI be a TOS remake. So I was wondering, who do you think should make up the cast? For the purpose of this topic lets not worry about budget. I have no ideas.
