Hey, as you all are well aware I keep a crew manifest of the NX-01. I watch the episodes and write down names to add. I'll be able to watch First Flight tonight but I will be unable to see Bounty as I watch ENTERPRISE on CityTV (Canada Rocks!) and they are showing 'The Bachelor" at 9 (Damn that Denebian Slime Devil). Anyway, I will not be able to check for new crew members in Bounty so could everyone do me a favour, watch Bounty and post any new crew names as replies to this post. Thank You.
P.S. and for the record my name is not actually Jack, but you probably already geussed that.

Enterprise is attacked by the Xindi while they are in the Delphic Expanse. Archer is injured during the attack and when he arrives in sickbay he is in a coma. In his coma Archer believes that he is on Earth in the early 22nd century. However, while he believes he is Jonathon Archer to everyone else he is Tolek, the Vulcan ambassador to Earth prior to Soval. Archer believes that he really is the Ambassador and that he is the past and so he decides to do what he believes the Vulcans should have done: he gives Earth the information they need to build a warp engine. After the High Command learns of this they recall "Tolek" and prepare to court martial him when they learn of news of were working with the new information exploded when they attempted to experiment with the data. Luckily the explosions did not involve antimatter and so the destruction was not complete but devastation is wide spread throughout southern Montana. The proceedings are disrupted and 'Tolek' travels to Earth. When he arrives in Montana he sees the devastation and is overwhelmed by it. He sees a small partially melted piece of plastic on the ground. He picks it up and although it is highly damaged me can make out the name "Henry Archer". He realizes that his father died and breaks down when suddenly he is revived by Phlox in Sickbay. He is obviously shaken and remains in Sickbay overnight. He asks T'pol to see him and he tells her that he finally understands why her people did what they did.
What do you think? I think it should be called "There are Reasons" or perhaps "Decisions" or "Past Regrets". I would enjoy some input on this episode and its title. I just hope it isn't too much of a rehash.

GENESIS, woo!

Also, the Enterprise dedication plaque says it was commisioned by UESPA and it states that in 2161 after the Federation was founded Starfleet was incorporated, meaning it existed prior to 2161, so this aspect of continuity is sound.

Unfortunately, do the Bachelor (DAMN HIM!) I will only get to see First Flight.

Poverty was eliminated quite quickly, why not smoking?
Also, everyone on Enterprise had to pass rigorous physical testing, it would be hard to pass through the academy if you were a smoker. I don't see many people in the US Army smoking.

Actually, if you're in the Alpha Quadrant you'd have to fly through either the Gamma or Beta Quadrant to reach the Delta Quadrant because the Great Barrier blocks fight from the center of the galaxy.
Also, I am aware that I described a paradox, which is exactly what this. THe borg are predestined to travel back and contact themselves to assimilate earth.

i think stelfan's got it!

How do we know that this not the way things have always been? The timeline could have always had the Borg travelling back and then later contacting themselves to assimilate earth. This was probably the intent of the attack in ST:FC, to travel back and alert the future Borg of Earth's existence. Why else send one cube? The Borg in Regeneration were probably continuing the interplexing beacon mission. The destruction of the Phoenix is simply a bonus. Thus, the current Star Trek timeline has always had the Borg travelling back to 2063, failing, being frozen, sending the message which causes the Borg to travel to J-25 and the cube the Hansen's encountered (although, I believe the Hansen's were in the DQ at the time). The Borg then attack in 2373 with the soul purpose of ensuring they contact themselves in the past. The events of Regeneration, and Star Trek: First Contact are classified by the Federation specifically Section 31 and the Hansen's work for S31 on a mission to study the Borg. Also consider the Borg assimilated the Hansens and that's how they knew about the message. It all falls into place.

Yeah, now I've seen it and they only mention Cunningham. You see a lot of crewman (mostly security) and no names. It drives me crazy.
-
I was wondering if any background crewmembers will be mentioned by name. You know, for my manifest. I would just like to know so that I don't sit around waiting for it and it never comes.

New Zealand is absent, I read that on movie mistakes.com. interesting site. Anyway, a better question is: is Southern California visible on the globe? If you recall in Future's End VOY, they state LA will be submerged in the Hermosa quake of 2047. I wonder if that is there?

Season 4 would fall naturally in 2004:
-Season 1: 2001-2002
-Season 2: 2002-2003
-Season 3: 2003-2004
-Season 4: 2004-2005
etc depending on how long Enterprise lasts...

How about this, I heard somewhere that they were trying to make a new Bruce Lee movie using technology to impose him into the movie. So, if this technology is possible and cost effective why not use technology to make Gene Roddenberry chef? Okay, so it is unlikely but maybe Berman or Braga could play chef. If not maybe Wolfgang Puck or Emeril Lagasse? I've got all sorts of crazy ideas.

yeah, I just added that. It was from that episode of Futurama 'Where no Fan has gone before" so many trek references and its all gold! If you want to see it search for Futurama on KaZaA. It should pop up. Hilarious

Y'know, I was half expecting Archer to rip a pip right of Trip's uniform. Wow, that's some rhyming.

There is an artical up at TrekNation.com that talks about the third season and what's going to happen. Sounds like things will really be changing. Just to warn you it contains spoilers.

Likely, Regeneration will complete a paradox.
Point A: The Enterprise E travels backwards through time during ST:FC and are Borg are left behind
Point B:
Click for Spoiler:
Point C: The Enterprise-D encounters the Borg in J-25 which leads to the events of Star Trek: First Contact.

sorry about that, I didn't think it would be that big a deal but I guess it was, sorry again.

Were any new crewmembers named in Bounty? I was unable to see it.
