  1. I now live on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and we had a nice visit with Hurricane Alex yesterday. By 11:00 am it had become a catagory 2 hurricane packing winds of 100 miles an hour with stronger gust at times.

The theatre I work at is an outdoor theatre so of course the show was cancelled for the day and the cast and crew threw a big ole Hurricane party. By 3:30 pm we were on the beach, drinks in hand enjoying the blowing winds. A good time was had by all. I just love a good hurricane!!!

  2. I would also like to see Trip's darker side. His character has grown so much over the past 3 years and he has become great character in the Star Trek universe. I do hope the Trip/T'Pol relationship continues and grows, maybe even have the first Vulcan/Human marrage!!! Now that would be cool!

  3. She has become one of my favorite Vulcans, she reminds me alot of Spock. You can't fault Jolene for what the writers give her and she has done a great job with the stories they've had. I hope the Trip/T'Pol thing continues, I love the way their characters have grown over the past 3 years.

  4. AE, you have much greater faith in TPTB than I do.  I honestly believe they do not think there was anything wrong with T'Pol's actions and they were merely looking for a plot device that could explain her hooking up with Trip.

I also think there is more to accepting responsibility than some people understand.  The crucial step is "accepting" responsibility.  I mean looking at yourself in the mirror and realizing with horror the choices you made, to admit to yourself and to your Captain what you did, and to feel genuine remorse for it.

All the selfless acts in the world are meaningless to her character development, IMO, if she doesn't at some point feel genuine sorror for her actions. (and admit to Archer what she did)

I don't think she should be First Officer, she has proven she doesn't give the position her all.  Science officer maybe, but she should have to regain Archer's trust.

The other step I think people overlook is that "punishment" isn't about revenge - it ultimately should be about helping the person regain their confidence and their self respect.  T'Pol, of course, hasn't lost her confidence or her self respect because she doesn't think she did anything wrong.  But if you truly forgive a person then you want them to able to forgive themselves and people often need a process in order to do that.

Well perhaps the issue of punishment could be seen in season 4. Personally I think T'Pol is great and certainly the best Vulcan since Spock, I like the fact that she is not perfect but I do hope her emotional control starts to return over the next season.

I agree, she is the best Vulcan since Spock. And I'm hopeing the powers that be will set things right in the next season. She may even save the Enterprise next season from some sort of tragedy and that would be great!!

  5. Is it becuase you think the show is badly produced, or is it that you just don't like it?

There are many reasons..The main one is: It bores me.

Star Trek certainly can't get any better than this last season of Enterprise, but it seems to keep getting better.

Don't say that! There is much better trek out there than last Season of Enterprise

    TNG: Season 5

    TOS: the Wrath of Kahn

    DS9: The addition of Worf

..hell even all of season one is far better that what i have seen on Enterprise

    Voy:Season 3

You all have read my post "Giving DS9 another chance". I thought that Ds9 for the longest was a horrible show..So i went back and saw it again..It was great.Far better calaber then on Enterprise!..

I will say that because its true! If you had watched this pass season you just might think twice about saying its boring. But I know you won't because it seems you have it in your head thats its not good. Oh well, your loss our gain.

  6. So much for the Romulan war and founding of the UFP.

Ya know, I'm quite dissapointed in Trek fans today.  They used to fight for Trek, like fanbases do for other shows today that are threatened with cancellation.  When we heard there were no plans for a DS9 nor VOY movie, did fans unite and campaign for one?  No, they said, "Oh, it probably won't happen."  With ENT's four season potentially being the last, fans are saying, "Welp, that was fun.  Now whut?"  What about the campaign to get season 4?  Why not campaign for another network to pick up season 5?

I'd join that campaign to keep Enterprise, just send me their address.

As for the Romulan War being a movie, that's kind of a large topic for a movie. The Dominion War lasted 2 seasons.

They could tell the Romulan War over the coarse of 2-4 movies.

Not really. Nobody would have a clue if they missed any of them. I think a war is more interesting as a series and can show how the characters develop. A movie is better suited to one major event - perhaps the end of the war?

I agree that having the Romulin War featured in a couple of movies is a bad idea. I'll just wait and watch it unfold on the TV show over the next couple of seasons.

  7. I voted T'Pol, I really liked what they've done with her character, exploring emotions, getting addicted and then seeking help to overcome her addiction and now she has to deal with her emotions resulting from her addiction. She has done an excellent job this season and look forward to whats in store next season.

I do wish Hoshi gets more air time next season. She is also a great character that needs more stories to lets us know more about her.

  8. I'd love to see an Enterprise film, although I would be disappointed if T'Pol were not in it since she is an important part of the show.

I would also love to see a film that combined DS9 and Voyager, we know Janeway is an Admiral now so maybe Chakotay is Captain and Harry Kim is first officer

  9. Pink Floyd is one of the greatist bands of all time!!!! Love that band! I have every Floyd CD there is a nd a couple of bootleg cd's I saw Pink Floyd in concert back in 1994 at Joe Robbie Stadium in Miami. I was sitting in the 13th row center and it was an awesome concert.I also had the pleasure of seeing Roger Waters in concert back in 2001.
