  1. First of all Enterprise has done a fine job in keeping continuity intact, I hear people say "The Feringi should not have been on they were not first seen until TNG!" Thats true, the Federation met the Feringi for the first time, but on Enterprise Archer and the crew have no idea what name the aliens were when they took over the ship so as far as Starfleet is concerned the Feringi was first seen by Picard's Enterprise when in reality it was Archer's Enterprise, they just didn't know they were feringi!

Enterprise is very much canon and there has not been one shred of proof otherwise.

Enterprise has become a great Star Trek show and after this past season has proven that they are just as good a story as any other Star Trek series.

For the folks that don't like it there is a very simple concept you must learn "Don't watch it!"

I look forward to next season and the next 3 seasons to follow it.

  2. I just don't see it as being more militaristic. Its just good normal Star Trek stories that are great science Fiction. DS9 spent a couple of seasons at war with the Dominion or the Maques. Voyager pretty much had a new enemy to fight every season like the Borg or the Hirogen.

Enterprise is no different than any other Star Trek show.

  3. Going against canon? When?Where? It seems things are were they should be.

I'm still waiting to see all this sex some of you talk about.Maybe you get a different Enterprise than me because I just ain't seeing alot of sex.

  4. I'm one of the people that also enjoyed Enterprise from the beginning. I have no idea why the bashers wanted to bash the show, I just assumed they had nothing better to do or were just too stupid to change the channel on the TV to something they liked.

  5. Damn u Berman and UPN, DAMN U ALL TO HELL!!!

<---------------------------watch Andromeda on Scifi channel Friday's and            Wednesday

If Ent goes down i suggest looking for another series to like Im putting mu money on Andromeda, SG and that are to succesful to be my liking

If Enterprise gets cancelled, it will be UPN's fault, not Berman's. Wether or not he's a good producer, he is trying. As for Andromeda, didn't it get cancelled?

Andromeda is now on the Sci-Fi network with all new episodes. Friday night is great now they show a Stargate episode, then Andromeda, then another Stargate episode!!

  6. I've only got one major complaint.  I didn't like T'Pol quoting Spock.  Other than that, the episode was excellent.

Well actually she did not qoute Spock, What she said is part of the Vulcan philosphy. Even Tuvok has said it on Voyager.I guess all Vulcans say it once in awhile.

I voted 10 as well. This episode was so much like TOS, and I was on the edge of my seat thru most of the episode!

  7. It's not the true science fiction....

    It's fantasy....

Science fiction has to do ssmething with science not raising people from the dead....

At the time it was written it was considered Science Fiction. A Mad Scientist makes a machine that with the help of electrical discharges from a lighting storm re-creates life from dead body parts, thats pretty much a Sci-Fi story to me, with a little horror thrown in from chills.

  8. I have finally moved to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and started work. It a beautiful place here and I'm very happy to be here.I just wanted to drop this line in case anyone wondered where I had been for the past week or so.

  9. KM, I know you want to drop it but I am curious - if an officer in the US military were to take a drug that impaired his/her ability to make command decisions - would you want to serve in that command?  In fact, in the US military wouldn't an officer most likely be court martialed for doing what T'Pol did?

My question is why the double standard?

T'Pol is a scientist, she decided to study this human thing called emotions that all her life she held back. The Trillium showed her a way to expierence that not knowing she would be addicted. as soon as she relized she had a problem with addiction she went to the doctor.

In the Military if you report yourself to command that you have a drug problem they will not Court Marshell you, they will put you in a treatment program. Now if you are responsible for the deaths of people under your command there could be some issues that go to court.

I do not blame T'Pol for the deaths of any crewman killed while attacked by the Xindi, to me those people would have died if, say Archer were in charge or Trip.

We discover she has a problem and she herself is already taking the steps to rid herself of the addiction. It seems you want to punish her severly for her addiction. I don't see where punishing her will accomplish anything, she needs to be helped and supported even more than ever now to get thru the problem.

Here is a true story, when I was in the Army I became addicted to Crystal Meth, and I drove a 52 ton armored tank that alot of times was fully loaded with weapons and shells. I relized one day in a moment of clarity that this was not a good thing so I turned myself in to the C.O. (Commanding Officer) I went thru a rehab program and 6 months later I was back driving the tank, of course I began to be tested for drugs on a regular basis but I stayed clean and finished my service. I see the same happening to T'Pol, send her back to her job, just keep a closer eye on her for awhile until your satisfied she is well and back to normal.

  10. Love the airel picture there VBG. The last time I saw the Grateful Dead was at RFK stadium, of course it looked bigger when I was there.

Washington DC is a great town, I've been many times. The Smithsonian Institute is awesome!!! I can spend hours just wandering around there (And have).

I recommend a visit to DC, lots of great stuff to see and its also a great party town!!!

  11. As much as I disagree with UH on this I'll just leave it at that because I know I'll never change her mind about T'Pol.

But when I read this:"This is the creature that has been looking down her self righteous little nose at all the incompetent humans for three years." I thought of Rush Limbaugh. Giving people a hard time for years about things like drug addiction then it turns out he is a druggie himself! Sorry to get off topic like that but that was the first thing to go thru my mind. And they let him have his radio show back!!

  12. What makes you think 15 people would not have died if she were not under the influence? They were out numbered and out gunned, everyone on Enterprise could have been sober as judges and still would have had the crap kicked out of them resulting in deaths.

  13. Click for Spoiler:

What a GREAT episode!!! Archer most certainly made the right decision, it was a tough one but the only one he had left as an option. And I enjoyed how they brought out the addiction of T'Pol. They did it in a way you can't really be very angry with her actions.

Seeing Casey Biggs again was great as well.

The show becomes more and more the Star Trek I know and love. Kudos to TPTB for doing a job well done!
