  1. Fascinating. If I'm vulcan and I want to do it with someone, all I have to do is send out a telepathic link to the desired female. Trully facinating. I would like to change my race from human to Vulcan and I'm going to take the first shuttle to Deltan immediately. I hope it works with Deltans, or I'll just fly to vulcan and have fun there.

  2. Really? I thought it would either be Kirk or Sisko. I've not watched enough of ENT to know Archer better. That's why I'm still deciding. I'm pretty surprise the first response would be Archer.

Let wait and see what others think.

  3. I found this from a game review found at www.the-underdogs.org on a game called Eel's Strange Adventures in Infinite Space. Its got this very funny phrase and thought I'd share it with you all:

. As a space explorer, your objective, in the game's offcial words, is simple: "explore exotic star systems; seek out new technologies, artifacts and lifeforms; boldly blow up stuff where no one has has blown up stuff before!"

  4. I could have been a better captain than him... Xindi you say? give a shoulder mounted rocket launcher and a shuttle pod, I'll kick their faces in until they learn not to mess with earth!!!

I really like that.... Come to think of it, mebbe I'll qualify too.

Its really hard to tell which is the weakest series. Its the same as asking which is your least favourite. I can't really decide but it certainly won't be TOS or TNG. I can't say much for DS9 since I've only seen some episodes - until I get my hands on more DVDs but I pretty am happy with it so far.

In addition, the question asked was too general. If its about which was the least favourite, then its easy to answer. I'd choose ENT. However, I begin to wonder, what do we mean by weakest? From which angle. Weakest at what point? In term on special effects, I won't say ENT was weakest. In terms of story line? Ratings? There's a lot to debate there.

My favourite is still TOS although I never had the previledge to watch them all. Followed closely by TNG.

  5. The might of the Federation Starfleet is insignificant next to the Power of the Force!

I'll look at the whole thing as in THE WHOLE STAR TREK UNIVERSE vs THE WHOLE STAR WARS UNIVERSE.

Therefore the might of the Power of the Force is nothing compared to the cruel amusement of Q. Q'll certainly enjoy himself there. That's why I like him so much.

I'd like to know the Borg vs the force. ... What about the Species running amok in the death star.

I still think Captain Q of Starfleet would the flawless winning factor.

  6. I recently started teaching my son this counting song:

    One little two little three

    Little Klingons

    Four little five little six

    Little Klingons

    Seven little eight little nine

    Little Klingons

    Ten little Klingon boys.

    (Alternately I sing:

    Ten little Klingons have Died

    or

Ten little Klingon Birds of Prey)

Off course, I also teach my son how to count Romulans.

  7. gdog243, I'll try to write something up. The last episode I watch which I could remember was DS9 pilot episodes. It showed Sisko's grief over his wife and how he had to cope bringing up his son all by himself.

As a husband and a father, one of the toughest thing to go though is losing a wife. I think that goes for wife and mother too. Seeing the grief, I think we all fear losing our loved ones and there are times, we just don't know if we can ever go through what Sisko went through. I think the episode talks about how humanity deals with grief and how they recover.

Well, that's what I think. I love my wife very much and I don't ever want to go through what Sisko went though. Its just too painful.

  8. I don't get Star Trek on any of the TV channels or network here. Its very hard to get ST literature.... films ... dvds

I can't stand idly by while someone is deprived of Star Trek. Tell you what, you pay the postage and I'll send you a box full of Trek books.

Hey Kor, you're not joking are you? Cos if you aren't, then we've got to get in touch. Man! wait till I tell my wife this news! She'll surely make me buy that book-shelf she's been wanting to get since... last Christmas.

  9. I don't get Star Trek on any of the TV channels or network here. Its very hard to get ST literature.... films ... dvds.... and stuff so whenever I come across anything ST, its like finally finding an oasis in a desert. I feed myself ST by surfing the net.... downloading teleplays of the series.... and watching them whenever it does show on TV....

Its frustrating that I can't get any reliable ST source in my country. Whenever I travel to Kuala Lumpur or Singapore... I'd spend my money and import as many books as I can stretch my latimums.

Given my situation, I believe I enjoyed ... mostly enjoyed all the Star Trek I can get my hands on to the extend my wife thinks I'm nuts.
