  1. It's actually Barry Beardstrimmer. He worked on TNG from 1992 and was responsible for polishing any vases on the sets and Patrick Stewart's head. Beardstrimmer went on to be Mulgrew's bun assistant on Voyager, losing that position after season 4, shortly after it was decided to lose Janeways bun hair-do. Beardstrimmer worked as Manny Coto's assistant on Season 4 of Enterprise, where he was responsible for picking at the bones of The Original Series to see if there was any meat left to make something out of. He was also responsible for injecting Jolene Blalok's lips with Cologen, when that extra bit of pout was required. Following Trek, he was recently appointed Canned Goods Display Co-Ordinator at his local Walmart, enjoys fried chicken and watches Reunification over and over again religiously, pointing to and laughing at his reflection in the vase to anyone who will listen...

    Is this for real??

  2. In Star Trek I and II we saw reverse angles, tactical displays, etc. and in TNG we saw magnifications and reductions. No simple window can do that.

    I agree.

Here's just a thought. Why doesn't starships use 3D holographic displays for tactical instead of 2D screens?

  3. I'm sorry if I offended you guys about using the term "Chick"

You should be. Here in the states we are much more civilized. We call them broads.........

    JUST JOKING LADIES!!!!!!

I really don't get the joke... What does "broads" mean in this context.

I've always like Hoshi the best.

I have also liked Hoshi best but I'm going to vote Ezri here.

  4. I doubt the Klingons would have much interest in us, unless we had some sort of untapped mines deep below the surface they needed. If that was the case, then the Klingons seem like the kind who'd take what they needed and leave, in a very "Wham! Bam! Thank you ma'am!" manner.

That sounds more like the Orions.

I think they would like our brutal military history and try to teach us the teachings of Kahless.

  5. I choose gagh. The closest things humans have to gagh from this part of the world where I live is a type of fat squirmy worm we call Sago Worms. Its a delicacy here. Some people like it sauted or stir fried with some sauce or spices. Some people just like it the Klingon way.

Some seasons ago (can't remember which season), those on Survivor had to eat those worms in one of the challenge and I thought that was the easiest thing to do.

    Again, I pick the gagh.

  6. i have a nokia 1100  :blush 2: it's such an embarrassment except it was only $100, with $50 credit. what kind of phone can you get for $100 nowadays?

I'm currently using a Nokia 1108. Its supposed to be an upgrade of the 1100 in terms of the software used. I got it for only MYR 220. That's about USD50?? It has been rather reliable.

I'm through with buying hi-tech expansive phones. The last one cost costed me more than MYR 1200 which accidently ended up in the washing machine. I'm rough with phones so I now only get the simple and cheap ones. That way, if its broken, I'll just get another.

But you know... I's still prefer the standard communicator. It now comes as a badge I can pin on my shirt.
