welll if it makes a difference, pretty much all the shows with a considerable online fan base, have the episodes posted online..myself, i download Enterprise episodes on tuesday and decide whether to watch it again on the live broadcast on wednesday...dont fret, like i said, any show worth watching is online @ www.suprnova.org
-
btw in addition to all the ST episodes, ive caught up on my sopranos, sixfeet under as well as 7 days...lol
-
id have to say voyager because it got me rehooked on ST..after i left home and went off to college (TNG season 6), i never had an opportunity to watch ST..so i ended up missing all of DS9 and most of voyager...then since both were no longer available in syndication within reasonable hours, i just said forget ST
however, occasionly i would catch a episode or two of voyager and i thought that this show is the "ish"
however with the advent of Kazaa, i was able to catch up on ST, first all of voyager, then all of ds9 (which i believe had the best plot line) then finally the first season of enterprise
now, so to speak, im all caught up with my star trek having watched every episode ever made with the exclusion of the animated series, but common now they arent even on kazaa and the fact that they arent entirely canon....

the xindi blew up earth and then it was whole
all humans had been assimilated and then we were human again
spock got nuked in a warp toaster and then he survived to school picard on romulan ethics
kirk got fried by a bot of zeus' lightining and then boxed along side picard
i think we have been proved time and time again...that nothing will ever be permanent in the star trek world
btw id be willing to start a betting poll on how they are gonna bring data back to life

i guess i liked the episode...but again..it seems that the story lines lately, are ones weve seen before
very reminicent of voyager's 49ers
also reminecent of the movie stargate
i remeber reading a while back that roddenberry was torn between doing a western or a sci-fi project back in the days...i suppose this episode could be another tribute to the big man in charge

im a counterstrike fanatic!

choosing between the two is like asking a person to pick which arm they want cut off... U want them both !

talk about one tough cookie... and to think people probably always assumed he was the runt of the litter...his reheroics are schwartzennegger-esk to say the least

its not a window?
no way man

thought of some more...similar episodes
guardian on the edge of forever...(TOS)-where history is obliterated by an action
visitor (ds9)- where jake sacrifies himself to send his father back in time
and most similar
timeless (voy) - where harry dies at the end restoring a better timeline
-
I think your timeline is a bit wacked. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be in chronilogical order but are you refering to the war between the Klingons and the Federation that took place around the time of the Enterprise C? I also heard there was a subsequent war that takes place after TNG and DS9 ended.the war between the klingons and the federation never happened if your referring to episode yesterdays enterprise..it was an alternate timeline... after TNG, there was a brief period where the khitomer accords were dissolved...but the klingon empire never officially declared war on the federation...they were just a little bitter about the federation not helping the klingons fight the dominion...but regardless...the klingons , romlulans, and federation eventually went to war against the dominion, breen and cardassians

hmm...i dont know why but i have the destinct feeling that we see a reman bleed in the movie... if its green..they are most likely vulcan offshoots..if its red like everyone else...then definitely not vulcan related...

7/10 But the thing that kept nagging at me was...
Click for Spoiler:
was the continued referrence that command had done this or command had done that....is it just me but isnt communicatoin cut off from the enterprise in the expanse?secondly..
Click for Spoiler:
the show had a very generic ring to it...reminded me of Year of Hell(VOY), ALL good Things (TNG), Generations (Mov), and of course the movie momento..i was waiting for Archer to pull out his polaroids soon or to pull up his sleeve for his crib notes to him self...i dunno...overall
Click for Spoiler:
the episode and effects were great...but common..we all know that it was gonna get reversed just like in all the other episodes i mentioned before...i mean seriously..there was no way that TPTB were just gonna erase...4 series' of canon with one episode...i did think it was cool that..they mentioned
Click for Spoiler:
ceti alpha 5...i was half expecting an asteroid to blow up the planet..but then i think thats about 100 years off (ST II) -
i burst out laughing when he was activated as the EMH and his pips popped out on his collar...

THe facts :
Enterprise set in the 22nd century... in Broken Arrow we see Klingons with forehead ridges...
ST TOS Episode trouble with tribbles: we see klingons without ridges
ST Motion Picture: WE see klingons again with ridges...
Thus there is a period where klingons had them and then lost them
Now heres the monkey wrench
ST DS9 Episode Trials and Tribulations: Dax is quoted that she wanted to see Kor in action and so we see Kor in the bar without ridges...however on a later episode Ds9 episode (the one where the hunt the albino klingon) we see Kor with ridges...
therefore within one mans life span there was a change that caused him to be without to with ridges...
so we can dissmiss theories with this data
1) Janissary- separate kidnapped species...doesnt fit into the kor scenario
2 )Quick evolution - they had ridges, then they didnt and now they do..no not likely
5) Hybrid theory- Kor is an example that this is not so
regarding the others
3) Bioengineering- it sounds plausible..an experiment gone wrong...an agent given to enhance reflexes...but being such a proud race..would they tolerate even a slight decrease in their ridge size...i know any medication that would cause a slight decrease in my thingy would be flyin out the window...
4) Surgical Alteration theory...klingons arent sneaky spies they are grunt warriors ..but even if it was like this, why would worf be so embarrased to talk about it? it doesnt make sense
6) cosmetic fashion theory... do i really need to say anything to talk you out of this one?
leaving
7) Q theories-- it sounds logical.. 23rd century klingons, proud of their ferocity and size ....looking down on inferior weakling humans and vulcans...suddenly put into their place appearing to look like an "inferior " race by none other than Q...a cause of embarrisment to all klingons of the empire for generations.....
im sure there are other plausible reasons..but none seem to fit as well as the Q humility scenario...
just my thoughts

i know its not canon but in the book, farther shore (post voyager series) it is explained that in the event of the death of the queen, there is a protocol to transform a drone into a queen.. now every analogy thus far has likened the borg to bees or ants...so i dont think its past the realm of possibility that for this instance, they are alike bees as well... therefore, even if the queen died, there is a protocol to transform another drone into a queen.. that the being the case, the borg have hot been defeated, but im sure they have taken devastating losses in the number of drones , structures, equipment, and ships

James T. Kirk.....captainWilliam Riker.....first officer
Spock.....science officer
Tom Paris.....Helmsman
Julian Bashir.....Medical Officer
Tuvok....Security Officer/Tactical Officer
Data....Ops/communications*
Ezri Dax....counselor
Trip Tucker....Chief Engineer
USS Enterprise NX-01....Starship
i cant see any one on this crew getting anything done...
kirk, riker, paris, bashir and maybe tucker chasing tail
while data, spock, and tuvok debating temporal parodoxes till they turn green literally (well one is already and two have that color blood)

I come here about once a day but sometimes I don't post so some of us might be here just not posting.me to..i just post when something catches my eye like this :P

the thing is...antimatter radiation may be more toxic than nuclear radiation...take the case of the planet devastated by one reactor leak on the surface of a planet (frienship one -Voyager season 7) vs the toxic radiation leaked at chernobyl..
And we can assume, per gram there is more radiation and energy released in antimatter than nuclear..or else we would have warp nuclear reactors ...ie nuclear torpedoes are weak in comparrision with antimatter torpedoes per gram...
so if we assume this to be true...then a 1/2 ton antimatter torpedo would have the same yield as a 100 ton nuclear torpedo or something of the sort
simple logic applied to a simple problem

and 101
someone on any series actually has to use the bathroom
"whats with the sea shells??"
Should "Fury" have been longer?
