I always liked Tasha Yar as well but i thought that Denise Crosby was much better as the evil Sela. It's a pity that they couldnt have drafted her in maybe as a defector or something: the Romulan crewmember that no one ever quite trusted!
Worf was the natural choice for Security Officer. I mean, who else to fire the phasers and take a prisoner to the brig? Grrrr....
Wesley Crusher was given a stronger role in Season 3 as well. And the backlit graphics and overall special effects were a lot less wobbly :/

The omnipotent character Trelane from TOS has often been hypothesised to have been a member of the Q race. It would have been interesting if this could have been liked up in ENTERPRISE for example, with Q's son who was established on VOYAGER but, like all Q, was timeless, appering older in TOS as Trelane. Perhaps another link...

Season 3. And why?
Better uniform
Return of Gates McFadden as Crusher
The roles of the crew more firmly established
Btter story writing
Brilliant Cliff hanger ending that has never been surpased

Did Denise Crosboe make a big mistake? I mean her career without ST hsnt been exactly spectacular...

What I liked:
1 The fabulously rendered Enterprise D model. Never have we seen that ship manouever like it did in complete CGI
2 The backgound meterorites past the windows on the Enterprise D
Click For SpoilerWhat I didnt like:1 The fact that Troi and Riker DOMINATED the episode
2 The fact that Riker had so much time to spend on holodeck recreations to solve a sinmple problem
Ie It made a BRILLIANT final episode to the francise buit NOT to the series

An Original Series Model costs a lot of money to build. Just as much as anyone else...

I was reading recently how they wanted a Constitution Class starship to crash into the Enterprise D in Cause and Effect but they couldnt do it cos it would cost them too much money to build a TOS style model. Over a decade later it costs very little to build one in cyber space for In a Mirror Darkly. Ironic that the new fantastic abilities we have are lost on a show that a third of the TNG viewers watch...

In A Mirror Darkly was fantastic! Cant wait til next week..

Just thought ýd log ýn and drop a lýne from an ýnternet cafe ýn Turkey on my hols...

Wow - it's amazing how threads evolve.

I enjoyed the storyline arc for what it was. The level of technology a nation can have can fluctuate with time, after the effects of war and with different regimes. So it is reasonable to assume that Romulan technology could have been more sophisticated in the past than in a future incarnation. I loved seeing the Reman guards escorting the High Ranking Romulan. And the writers lept them out of face to face contact with the Federation. Shran fighting Archer was very TOS!

I have found from a lot of interviews i've read recently that the cast of Enterprise are somewhat bitter about the roles that they have had over the last 4 years and the lack of development regarding their characters. I would be the first to admit that to an extent they all have a point but i feel that some cpould handle it with a bit more dignity, and stop trying to grab some flailing attempt to make headlines bu controversially knocking what they had and basically having a good b1?c# to themselves... i mean, come on grow up Blalok!

Yeah, sorry

I believe that ghosts only exist in our own mind and are manifestations of things that are troubling us or 'haunting' us.

Though that it a huge merchandising ploy to lure more people into eating suger filled, salt ridden un nutricious food, all for a piece of moulded plastic. I think G Lucas is squeezing every last drop out of this last film. And i wouldnt be surprised if it isnt the last we hear from his CGI fueled world.

It would have to be Jean Luc Picard. So well played, you would trust him with your life.

Enterprise Seasons 3 and 4 simultaneously on 2 different channels, and re-reuns of Season 7 TNG and Season 3 of DS9. Quite a lot actually!!!
-
It makes a good episode in my opinion, but otherwise it is too far stratched premise-wise and can be a big load of CGI in my opinion at times.

What is TCW sorry? I take it you're in favour of prequals then?

I have to admit though that had i been on board Voyager and had worked hard at passing my exaams and training, i would have been very annoyed at her being given the role of chief engineer. I mean, at the end of the day she was some Starfleet drop out who was involved in an illegal operation who just happened to worm her way into the circle of the bridge staff. Otherwise, she would've probably been just cleaning out plasma conduits. However, her rank in the show made it more interesting, blah de blah...

Im still inclined to go with the argument that whether or not a founder will turn out to be male or female in their appearance and charcteristics will be a finely balanced tipping of the scales.
-
Did you see the one yesterday about the crew de-evolving? Im glad Data didnt de-evolve into a toaster!
-
That's a possibility but not nesessarily true. I think that it was perhaps more likely that the Enterprise writers sifted back through old episodes looking for some references that could be related to the new series.

Vey funny. What about - a disease wipes out millions of worlds leaving only village on each world to represent their entire culture?
When Did VOY Hit Its Stride?

I voted Season 4 for the following reasons:
Seven of Nine
The new stella catography department
Communication with the Alpha Quadrant
Fantastic episodes
Confidence in the charcaters their relationships
NO KAZON - terrible, silly, stinky cousins of the Klingons or something
Janeway's hair finally getting sorted!!!!
I did think that come Seaon 6 onwards my attention started to drift howvere
