Eh, I like Europe, mainly because of ethingthe Bavarian beer halls, fun times! Now something like that, yet in a more convient location would be fabulous! Go Barvaria!

I like America the way it is, and with all the problems that comes with it. My family ansators came to America to get away from Europe. If they wanted America to be like Europe they would have stayed. By the way, you can't compare Europe to America. Europe doesn't have the same problems that America faces.

I didn't vote - my initial thought was "In What Way". But I don't think a "my country's better than your country debate" will get us anywhere.

I sincerely hope that everyone believes their country is the best country. And I hope everyone that recognizes that their country has problems is being a good citizen and doing what they can to help improve the problem. Obviously there are some countries in the world where people have legitimate reason not to - oppression, civil war etc.

America isn't the only country that has immigration problems, that has hate groups who harrass immigrants, we're not the only country with tax issues, health problems, environmental messes, economic disparity or crime. We're certainly not the only country with corrupt government officials. A few European countries still have state religions and even among those that don't a few still have "unofficial" cultural preferances.

I will say that I wish the US would adopt the one month vacation policies for workers that most European countries have.

I love a lot of the European customs, and I do plan to move there for a few years. This also means what part of Europe do you mean, most of Western Europe is pretty cool and laid back, like France, Holland, and you know. I wouldn't want to stay in Poland because it's too strict and still to this day highly anti-semetic.

I think America should recognise alot of it's European roots, but Wuite frankly, I think America doesn't need to be more like Europe. in a fashion sense, I could care less what's big in Paris or Milan. but, eh, that's just me.

Whatever, this is a very general question. The European countries are nationalistic. There really is not a nationality that is American. Americans are all different. We are either immigrants or descendants of immigrants.

Very true. Speaking as a decendant of immigrants(my grandfather on my dad's side was from Norway..and on my mom's side of the family I have relatives that still live in Denmark. And my heritage consists of a total of 9 different countries. ), I can definately agree with what Data is saying.

I guess by nationality you mean ethnicity. All Americans are Americans and many European countries have diverse and immigrant populations.

Our system of government is probably the biggest difference.

Why would we want to change???

why should we confrom to liberalistic ideas???

Unfortunately, Europe is becoming more and more liberal with time...

I usually see that the world is trying to confrom to world peace..

What is with everybody siding with the U.N.?

Have they done anything for world peace???

No not at all. I live in America and that's my home. Why would I want to become more like someone else. America is distintly different in it's own way and I'm proud to be living here. I'm not European and I wouldn't want America to be like Europe. I don't dislike Europe, but I'm proud of who I am and where I come from and I think Europeans should be proud of who they are and where they come from as well.

Why the heck not!? I may be American, but I have often thought about moving the France or some other French-speaking European country. I love Europe!

Becoming like Europe means becoming even less free than we already are - I hope I don't live to see America become a socialist nation but I fear it will happen before my little nieces and nephews reach old age.
