Hello again my friends (sound like Rush Limbaugh don't I?)

 

Anyway, just wanted to hear what your favorite scenes from the movies were.

 

One of mine would have to be Zephram Cochrane trying to do the Vulcan salute!

haha I still laugh just thinking about it. Anyway, looking forward to reading your replys.

I liked the part in Star Trek 10 when Riker and Deanna got married.

My favorite was in ST4 at the end when they were waiting to see what ship they got and then they see the Enterprise A.

Lemme think of some:

 

 

FC - Deanna in the bar with Cochrane. :o :o

 

TWoK - the Enterprise in the nebula, the screen finally clears up, and THE RELIANT IS RIGHT THERE. ......FIRE!!! I love this part.

 

TUC - the entire battle sequence between the Ent., the Excelsior, and the BoP.

 

TUC - the dinner scene.

 

TWoK - Kirk to Spock: "Aren't you dead?"

 

TSFS - the destruction of the Ent. Sad, but fun to watch.

 

TVH - too many scenes to mention.

 

TSFS - Excelsior dead in space.

 

TUC - Excelsior in shockwave.

 

Insurrection - Ent-E/Son'a battleships battle scene.

 

Nemesis - ermmm, none. :o

Hmm, so many to choose from here are a few that come to mind:

 

STII: TWoK - Kirk says to Spock "Arn't you dead?"

 

STIII: TSFS - The figh scene between Kirk and Kruge.

 

STIV: TVH - Gillian slaps her collegue (looked like that realy hurt).

 

STV: TFF - Kirk falls off the mountain.

 

STV: TFF - Bones "I liked him better before he died"

 

STVII: Generations - Data "Oh *poopie*"

 

STVIII: FC - Deanna in the bar.

 

I know theres more but those are just the ones I remember most.

ST VI-The Battle There At End With The Ships, Saving The Prez B), The Final Scene And The Name Signing Before The Credits.

 

ST GEN-Data-"Life Forms..."you Know The Rest , Data-"......Oh ****.", When The Bird Of Prey Cloaks And The Klingons Panic..Then Riker's "Fire.", The Bridge Collecting Themselves After The Crash.

TWoK: Spock sacrificing himself to save his crew mates.

 

FC: Definitely Deanna in the bar with Cochrane; that one's up there on the "Greatest ST Moments" shelf. :) I also liked Data's line: "To hell with our orders."

My fav part from a startrek movie is in startrek wrath of khan when kirk

gets the prefix code for the reliants sheilds and kirk says"here it comes"

and the enterprise opens fire.

Hey I remembered some more:

 

ST:TWOK Kirk's eulogy, Kirk yelling to Spock after he's dead

 

ST: TSFS Kruge tells the guy to feed the thing and the guy looks at it like "Oh jeez"

 

ST: IV Spock giving that vagrant the neck pinch, two words: Nuclear Wessels, Sulu hitting the switch on the helicopter and the wipers start going and he like "OH NO!"

I liked the Argo scene in Nemisis. It was hilarious.

In ST:FC there are several which are toss-ups

-the battle at the beginning when the Defiant gets shot up and Worf wants ramming speed

-the Zefram Cochrane leak scene with Geordi

-the scene with Lily, Data, and the machine gun in the missile silo

okay star trek movies are a magical thing.. as much as u dislke the movie there is always one point where u smile or tear or laugh here are my fav movie moments grouped

 

Humor-

II- "Whos been holding up the damned elevator" "KHAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!!"

IV- the whole movie, "i think he did a little too much LDS in the 60s" "everyone remember where we parked" "Break up you look like a cadet review" "Dr. Hows the patient-hell be fine- he i thought u came in with a she?" "Admiral there be whales here!!!!!!" And when Sulu flips on the windshield wipers

V- "I know this ship like the back of my hand*hits head on beam*" and the scene where they try to get spock to sing row row row your boat

VI- "What is it with you and women anyways?" "Not everyone has their genetals in the same place"

Gen- the life form song!!! (im singing it now) Mr. Tricorder, and " computer remove plank... #1 i believe thats retract plank"

FC- Troi getting drunk, "Leak im not detecting any leak- dont you people pee?"

Insurrection- "Its barely noticible" singing a british tar (sorry cant remember more of the movie

Nemesis- "Romulan ale should be illegal- it is" "Irving Berlin..." "Why does the tall man have a furry face?

One of my favourite scenes has to be Datas song in "Generations"

"Life forms, you tiny little lifeforms".. I love it, and the expression on Rikers face is hilarious!

 

Geordi and Cochranes "leak" scene isn't bad either.

I think one of my favorite parts in a Trek movie is from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country,when Spock slaps the phaser out of Valeris' hand once he discovers she is the culprit! It was powerful and frightening to experience the wrath of Spock! Gives me chills every time, as well as when he mind melds with her on the bridge to garner the much needed and stubbornly withheld information regarding the conspiracy and the upcoming peace conference. Powerful, powerful stuff going on ...

In the wedding scene in Nemesis when Picard jokingly suggests Riker and Troi stay on the Enterprise, and they look at each other, and indicate no, answering what they recogonized to be a sincere last plea.

The perfect moment in time in Insurrection

 

Cochrane and the others at the landing of the Vulcans: first contact

 

Chancellor Gorkon telling Kirk that it was their generation that would have the hardest time adusting to the new relations between the federation and the klingons

 

Uhura putting that transporter operator in the closet in TSFS

 

The hospital scene in TVH

 

losts of scences in TVH

 

Now I see why lots of people gave up on this thread....I just keep remembering more and more favorite scenes.

I like Spock's death scene in Star Trek II, not because he dies, but because it's just such a touching scene to watch. It makes me cry though everytime I see it, but it really shows the dynamics of there friendship.

 

I also like the truck scene in Star Trek IV where the Dr picks Kirk and Spock up in her truck. That whole scene cracks me up everytime I watch it.
