Nothing much going on the last few days.

- On Monday, I got another cordozone shot in my heel for the bone spur. So far, I haven't been in too much pain so I guess its working.

- On Tuesday, I went to my regular doctor and got a cordozone shot in my shoulder for some tendonitus thats been flaring up. So far, it hasn't gotten any better but sometimes it takes a few days for the cordozone to kick in.

- If everything goes well, I should be cruising in my car by this weekend!

- Got a phone call from "Vagina Man". He got in big trouble with his wife when she learned of his new nickname. Its a real shame because he was the most well behaved out of all of us that night.

That would probably do it but I don't think he has the money to buy a new car......

Actually, she deserves nothing but a good talking down to.

1) She gave him permission to go. What the hell did she expect him to be doing at a strip club?

2) Despite tremendous pressure from everyone, he was like the only one who didn't get a lap dance. Why? Because his wife told him not to!

She should be praising him, not giving him a hard time. If she doesn't trust her husband, she shouldn't have told him to go.

She gave him permission to go? Man, I don't miss being married. I didn't answer to 1.0 or 2.0.

Which explains why they're both known as "Ex-Mrs. Gummy's".

Boring day today. LOTS of dull paperwork to do.

- Got a call from the painter. Everything on the car is done except for the stripe on the hood which he promised would be done tonight. I'll be cruising pretty soon!

- Took a break from paperwork earlier and stained one of my new picnic tables. It came out pretty good.

- Now I'm just sitting her enjoying a nice cold frosted mug of Bud.

Really busy last few days!

- This past weekend, I had 2 guys in the hospital and 1 on vacation so work has been hell!

- I had to go to court today for a speedig ticket. The cop never showed up so they dismissed it for "lack of evidence". I'm almost sorry he didn't show because I was all ready to go "Allen Shore" all over him... :roflmao:

- This afternoon I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with some non-english speaking twit from Microsoft trying to get my son's XBox 360 Live to work! It was quite the ordeal but it finally was able to go online!

- I have a meeting early tomorrow to negotiate a new contract with one of my clients.

Don't you love when they outsource support lines to another country that can't speak English just to increase their profit margin!

Anytime that anyone does a Boston Legal reference, I always giggle.

I hate it when I call a company and end up talking to someone from India or Bangladesh. There is nothing that frustrates me more. My son hasn't had one problem with his XBox 360 Live. That's all he does nowdays. :roflmao:

I love Boston Legal and have watched it from its beginning. It was spun off from The Practice, with Alan Shore (James Spader - Dr. Jackson in the film Stargate) joining the firm and then going off with Jimmy to form their own firm. Jimmy kind of disappeared and Shore joined the law firm headed by Denny Crain (Shatner) with Rene Aberjonois (Odo) in the firm and more recently Shirley Schmidt (Candice Bergan). It has Trek references, is very irreverent and bizarre, a bit hung up on sex, and quite funny.

It's in my top three favorite shows. They do a lot of Trek References. That is one of the cool things about it.

I had no idea that Boston Legal was a spin-off from The Practice! I never watched that show. As for Trek references, I love it when Shatner flips open his cell phone and it makes the TOS communicator beeping noise....... :roflmao:

Fairly busy day today:

- Had a breakfast meeting with one of my clients today. We have to negotiate a new contract.

- Another delay with my car. I kept hearing a rattling sound in the motor. It turned out to be bad rocker arms. I have to replace them. I'll probably replace the lifters as well to be on the safe side. Not too big a deal. Shouldn't take long once I start.

- I got the 3rd season of Deadwood in the mail today!... :roflmao: Can't wait to watch it!

- I finally ordered the new TV and entertainment center yesterday. It took me a while to find an entertainment center that the TV would fit into. I ordered a Toshiba 50" plasma. Can't wait til it comes! But that damn entertainment center cost more than the TV!

- I have to come up with a decent toast for the wedding this weekend. Any suggestions?

You'd think that I would have a decent toast. Since I've been married twice, I should remember at least one of them.

I forgot to ask. How's the heel doing? You know that at the reception, you'll be doing some dancing. It's expected.

The heel is not doing well at all. So far I've had 2 cortozone shots. I have to go back to the doctor Monday. I can make it through a dance or two though......

Actually, my entire left side is hurting. Besides my heel, I have a bad case of tendenitus in my left arm... :roflmao:

Getting old is for the birds. It seems like everyday, something new hurts. But, it's something that I have come to expect and just deal with it.
