When I do sleep I have nightmares so therefore I toss in turn and my sleep and apparently I decked Gary twice last night and clawed the hell out of his chest... in my sleep... Gummy 0 Posted April 25, 2007 I can dig what you're saying Kor. I hate it when the doc turns me into a Hand Puppet too. But, at our age, it's a necessary evil. I get complete physicals twice a year and it's never any fun. One good thing is that my doctor is also a Trek Fan and that is what we usually talk about during the exam. In fact, I have to see him on Friday, so we'll be discussing the next movie, among other things. But, when I get the "Check", I always make snide comments like "Hey Doc! Kira T Phaserman 0 Posted April 26, 2007 What a day! - I had a physical today. These things are always humiliating experiences. First, they make me completely undress and want me to put on this gown that looks like its made out of paper towels. You have to tie it behind you which is virtually impossible and since the material is so fragile, I ended up ripping it. Then comes the exam. Its bad enough that the doctor practically gives you a handjob while checking you out but then you have to roll over for the prostate exam. You know, I have absolutely nothing against gay people. I have friends that are gay. But for the life of me, I will never figure out how they achieve some kind of pleasure from this activity. At one point, I asked the doctor.."Doc, just how many fingers do you have up there anyway?" I was actually looking forward at this point to getting a tetanus shot and having blood drawn. Then, when its all over, you drive home feeling all squishy because you still have KY jelly shoved up your butt....... :blink: On the bright side, the doctor said I was in great shape for my age. Blood pressure was good and cholesterol was good. I just have to wait for the results of the blood work. He also told me he wanted me to get a colonopsomy (spelling?) because its been 5 years since I've had one. REALLY looking forward to that.............. :( awwww poor Kor... However.. I have little sympathy... Woman have to lay flat on their backs spred their legs for some stranger then are subjected to a COLD metal or plastic thing being shoved in their vagina and then its opned so they can stick a cotton swad thingy in there and they have to scrape the cervix... not to mention the embarssing breast exams... You know I always seem to get guys for that... *sigh* Then you have to deal with the KY all day... and it really sucks when you dont wear underwear.. like me my response to the insomnia was to gummys response about energy levels btw Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Kor37 9 Posted April 30, 2007 So whats been happening: - Still can't completely shake this cold/flu thing I have. I've had it for about 1 1/2 weeks now. Its weird because I very rarely ever get sick. - This is Eric's last week of school. Next week he has finals. My wife will be flying up to help him move his stuff out of the dorm and into storage for the summer. They are going to spend a few extra days there going to Bal Harbor, Maine before they fly home. So next week it will be BACHELOR WEEK AT CASA KOR!!!.. - We went to our friends 25th wedding anniversary party yesterday. It was a Hawaiian theme so we dressed the part. It was supposed to be a surprise party but my friend recognized some of the cars in the lot when they came so that sort of blew it. This is the same problem I'm gonna have with my wife's surprise birthday party. I'm trying to figure out how to avoid that. - Got a few things done on my car. The new exhaust system in on. For your party Kor, try to have people carpool and if someone has a recognizable car, make sure they don't drive, and like Odo said...you can always just have them park someplace else and then walk. Kor37 9 Posted May 2, 2007 Busy day today: - My work computer had a melt down and I had to spend about 3 hours getting it up and running again... - Had a client meeting for about 2.5 hours - I got the results of my physical back and it looks like I'm in good shape. My cholesterol was 151, blood pressure was good as was the prostate and thyroid test. So I guess I'll live for a few more years.... :) He still wants me to get a colonoscopy since its been about 6 years since my last one. I'm gonna hold off on that til I'm able to take a few days off of work. - I have to go to a meeting with some of my suppliers tomorrow morning at 7:30 am ( ) to come up with a plan if their union drivers go on strike. Kor37 9 Posted May 3, 2007 Another busy day today: - Had to replace the water pump in my wife's van. - Had to fire one of my drivers this morning. Apparently, he's developed a heroin habit that really caused his work to slip. So now I'm short-handed again and one of my assistants goes on vacation this Saturday. I did do some interviews this morning and hired a replacement. Of course, he won't be any good until he's trained. I also hired back my old driver Bill, whose misadventures many of you read about in this log. He's fully recovered from his health problems so I'm going to give him another chance. - I'm just about ready to make the arrangements for this bachelor party that I'm going to give one of my friends. We have a group of 8 people. With the group I've assembled, it has the makings to be a legendary bachelor party.... - The carbeurator rebuild kit for my car has finally arrived in the mail. Kor37 9 Posted May 7, 2007 As usual, I've been busy the last few days: - All three carbeurators on my car have now been rebuilt and are working perfectly. - I spent most of today writing out and mailing the invitations to my wife's surprise birthday party. I also hired a DJ for the event. - Tomorrow I'm making the final arrangements for the bachelor party for my friend. All I have left to do is to rent a limo. - As if all of these parties weren't enough, we also have our annual Memorial Day bash coming up. This is an annual event here where about 100 people invade my home! I ordered a bunch of Buffalo filets today. I always grill up some buffalo steak on Memorial Day. - I had to take one of my vans to have the emissions checked. Wednesday was the deadline. The "check engine" light was on so I knew it would fail.....and it did.. I have a malfunctioning oxygen sensor that needs to be replaced and then I have to get the van re-tested. She will be gone until Monday because in addition to getting his stuff out, they are going to Bal Harbour for a day or two. In the meantime, I will be dutifully taking care of the house and doing yard work...................'looks out window'.........ok....she's gone......er...uh......what I meant to say was..... its time to.....as Eddie Murphy succinctly put it............
