I had a good day yesterday it was my brother in laws birthday so he, my sister and my niece came over for the afternoon.

 

We had a nice time. My niece has a new craze last week it was Sponge Bob this week it's the Powerpuff girls. See picture below. :huh: My poor sister has had to paint them on her bedroom wall. My sister is a great artist, my niece has a wall where my sister will paint anything it started as Winnie the Pooh went through the Teletubbies and Angelina Ballerina and is now these girls. :huh:

 

Anyway I don't have plans for today just a bit of lounging around and some posting here. The weather is still very nice so I may sit out later.

The Powerpuff girls names are Bubble (on the left in blue), Blossom (in the middle in Pink) and Buttercup (on the right in green)

Hi jaina27, thanks, Voyager is my favourite series too i'm trying to get enough money together at the moment to buy the DVD box sets. Maybe I can gently persuade my family to buy me season one for Christmas. :huh:

 

I'm not too sure about the Powerpuff girls either but I guess they will grow on me.

I'm feeling yucky again today it's odd because I felt better yesterday. :lol:

 

My niece (Laura) had her home visit from her new teachers yesterday she starts reception class on Monday and goes full time in October. The visit went very well which is good because my sister was worried but as usual Laura showed perfect manners. :wacko: Apparently one of her friends hid under a table for the whole of the teachers visit, poor little mite.

 

That's about all for now, I think I may go and lie down again in a while.

Not very much to tell today, i'm having a nice quiet morning then my sister and family are coming over this afternoon.

 

My best friend is off on holiday today, she is going to the coast and is staying about twenty miles away from where my sister stayed last week. I hope that the weather stays nice for her. :huh:

I have just gone and bought a new Laptop, i'm feeling and :huh: now. The clap is because a new Laptop is great it has 80Gb hard drive instead of the 5Gb I have now. The eeeekk is because it was so expensive it has given me a headache.

 

But i'm now well excited, it will be delivered in the next ten days *does happy dance*. Then I can stop moaning about my computer *thinks* hmmm what will I have to talk about then? Teehee.

 

Anyhow it's sunny and warm here today and my family have all headed off out so it's going to be a quiet Sunday.

Hi Hangon, I was shocked when it said it had 80Gb. I thought that the maximum on a Laptop was 60Gb shows how much I know, :( it's as much disk space as my brother in law has on his PC. I hope that you and Debbie have a lovely Sunday, take care. :blink:

A new week so a new colour post, I think.

 

The weather here is terrible today, pouring rain and high winds they recon there may be flooding again. It looks like Autumn is here. I would not mind so much, but it doesn't feel like we have had summer yet because the weather has been quite bad all year.

 

My poor friend on holiday at the coast is getting very wet. I don't think that she will be able to do much sun bathing. :(

 

I don't have any plans for today just a little posting.

Yesterday was my niece's first day back at school. Last term she went to nursery class and could wear her own clothes but this year she is in proper school and has to wear a uniform. My sister said she looked so cute in her tiny grey skirt and sweater. Apparently she had a really good day they just did puzzles and colouring to get the children settled. Most of her friends from last year are in her class so she was fine.

 

Once again I don't have anything planned for today, my family are all at work, my best friend is away on holiday so it's very quiet again. I'm sure that I will find something to do.

Well it's another boring day, I can't even think of anything remotely interesting to say. :) I had very little sleep last night, just worrying about stuff. :)

My sister came over after she fetched my niece from school yesterday, which was nice. :) My niece is really enjoying the new term, they did finger painting all afternoon so she was covered in paint but happy. :)

 

I'm just going to do some tidying up today and watch a bit of TV.

I had to go to the Doctors last night it was just a routine trip to get another Doctors letter to sign me off sick from work but he usually only puts two months on them and this time he has signed me off for six more months. :o This is really bad I have already been off for 14 months. :(

 

While I was there I told him about the side effects of the pain killers that have been making me ill, so I now have new pain killers they still have nasty side effects but these are different ones, I can hardly wait (said sarcastically). :wacko:

 

Anyway the only plans I have for today after my outing yesterday are to paint my nails a very bright colour to cheer myself up and watch some TV. :P

Thanks Hangon *hugs*, my friends would argue that I was nuts before the accident but i'm definitely more nutty now. :wacko: I really miss my job and all my friends there. :(

Delta's log star date 18/09/04

I had no sleep yet again last night, i'm thinking of becoming an owl. It's 2p.m here and I could go to bed right around now but if I do I won't sleep tonight so I had better have another coffee and sit it out.

 

I started my new tablets this morning and am feeling really dreadful. They are not doing anything for my back pain at all. I know it will be a few days before they build up in my system and I get any relief but this waiting is literally agony.

 

What a pain. Anyway on a happier note I got third place in the trivia this week which i'm very pleased with yay, and my sister and family are coming over in an hour or so which will take my mind off things.
