I had a lovely time yesterday my best friend came over and we had lunch she bought me a lovely birthday present.

 

I don't have anything planned for today, i'm feeling a bit rough it's just side effects from my pain killers so it will be ok. Having said that I don't feel like doing anything so I think i'm just going to chill out today.

 

The weather is still yucky so I will have to stay in. Never mind it's the weekend in a few hours so that will be brill. :o

Delta's log star date 14/08/04

Well I just popped in to update my log. I'm still feeling sick and rubbish, im not going to be able to go over to my sisters which is a pain because we were going to have a birthday meal and I was looking forward to it. Maybe if I take it easy for a few days I will feel better. :(

 

Tonights movie premier on Sky is Nemesis, I have not watched it since we went to the cinema to see it when it came out, but i'm going to watch it tonight. I have been avoiding it because the ending is so sad. :blink: <--for Data. I am going to have to get my tissues out. :(

 

I have not got much planned for the rest of the day, I was going to make some thank you cards for my birthday presents but I don't really feel up to it. Maybe tomorrow.

 

Anyhow I have to go. :(

I am feeling much better today, I don't know what is up with me at the moment I just keep getting sick. Maybe it's the weather but more likely it's just me.

 

Well it's another boring Monday. I have not decided what i'm doing today yet. My sister is probably coming over later so at least I will have some company which will be nice. :)

 

That's about all today except to say that there is a bit of cloudy sun here this morning and it's nice and warm. There are supposed to be thunder storms later so I will have to wait and see.

*Yawn* i'm feeling really tired today, I think that I needed a few more hours in bed.

 

It did not thunder yesterday but we had lots of rain, there are parts of England that are flooded this morning. :blink: It's very strange August weather.

 

I got yet another form to fill in about my bad back. I wonder just how much paper they waste sending me forms that all ask the same questions. I will have to fill it in later. :blink:

 

That's about it for now so i'm off to post for a while before lunch. :blink:

Hi Hangon, thanks it's not near where I live. I felt so sorry for those poor people. Six houses were compleatly washed away into the sea, people had to be air lifted off roofs. I can't imagine how frightening it must have been, :blink: luckily there were only a few people hurt with minor injuries.

Delta's log star date 18/08/04

Well today is quite boring I don't have anything to do so I will have to find something. I was awake most of the night worrying, if I could get paid for worrying I would be worth millions. :)

 

I'm just getting very nervous about tomorrow. Tomorrow morning I have an appointment at the hospital to have another set of back injections. I am not looking forward to them one bit. The last set that I had were very painful and I felt ill for ages after them, to add insult to injury they did not work. :) It will all be worth it though if this set do work. I am keeping my fingers crossed and trying to stay positive.

 

Anyway that's about all for today, except to say that it is raining again but there is nothing new in that.

I forgot to say I uploaded my new avatar but i'm not sure about it, I think that it has gone too pixelated. When my paint shop program saves animations it makes the images more pixelated . I will keep it for a few days and see if it annoys me.

Well it's 2a.m here and i'm wide awake so I thought I would post a while. I went for my back injections today, well yesterday now. They were particularly horrible, but I knew that they would be. :P The only good thing about it was I got a cup of coffee afterwards while I waited to see if I could go home.

 

I feel pretty dreadful now and my back and leg are very painful, which is probably why I can't sleep and can't face lying in bed any longer. Sorry I don't mean to sound sorry for myself I am in danger of becoming a right old misery.

 

One good thing about yesterday was that I finally got around to watching Nemesis that I had videoed last weekend. I had not seen it since we went to the cinema to see it and had forgotten just what a great film it is. It was just what I needed to take my mind off things, that's what I love about Trek it always takes me to a different place whenever I need.

 

Well that's about all, i'm going to post for a while.

Thanks Alterego, I did make my avatar with all five captains but it added up to 31kb so I had to cut it down. The one I have is now 19.9kb so I will just have to swap them around so they don't feel left out.

I'm still feeling pretty poor this morning I always wonder why things that are supposed to make my back feel better always seem to make it worse. I had better just take it easy today.

 

Yesterday we had thunder storms and torrential rain all afternoon. It just kept rumbling around. My niece came over and we looked after her for a while. I have never watched so much Sponge Bob Square Pants in my life, the child is obsessed. hehe

 

I had a letter yesterday from my unions legal department they recon that I have a case against my employer to claim compensation for my back injury. They sent me yet more forms to fill in. I am getting very good at this form filling business.

I just popped in for a few moments to update my log before I cook some dinner. I'm really hungry, I always am after steroid injections. I am supposed to be on a diet so I have been resisting the temptation to snack all day. :o I feel the same today as I have for the last few days and i'm very tired because i'm not sleeping very well. :(

 

I have not done very much today just watched some TV and read as I don't feel up to much. That is about it, not very exciting i'm afraid. :)
