    I was born in 1971 so I watched both of these show's in re-runs...lost in space was Milk and cookies...Just have a good time/ Star Trek was "think about this" and the way of the world.....Hand's down there's no comparison..Trek ruled...but Lost In Space was fun.

    well, i told myself not to reply to this...but here I am....I would hate to think that we only repersent 1% of the human population..but my feelings are real...and (not naming names ) she believes her feelings are real....the problem is this enviroment isn't real...so how do we convince the other that the feelings we have for each other are real....time is the only answer I can come up with...as for the internet making it easier/quicker that's completely wrong...it's very hard to get to know someone just with writing, many times we have had to stop and say "you know I'm joking..right" there's no way to hear tone of voice, or expression..and we have both had problems with others getting the wrong "first impression" anyway this is the 21st century...and I've heard lots of stories of people meeting the "right" one on the internet.

    KLAH- a spicy drink served hot, posibly with milk and /or sweetening, sometimes with a splash of a warming liquor. From the planet Pern.

     

    An Earth equivalent: Mix together- 2 tbls sweet ground chocolate, 1/2 cup dark cocoa, 3/8 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp dark instant coffee crystals, ground to powder, small pinch of nutmeg. 2-4 tsp of mixture per cup of boiling water.

    Hey 8 ft, good idea. I know someone who does murals, could paint a nice tropical island scene on there for you, or perhaps the desert, or maybe a nice mountain scene with a waterfall and a lagoon. Think about it :drool:

    You think my wife wouldn't notice I had a "thing" for the painter?

    Elevator: I wouldn't call it trapped- I stopped it between floors so we could ....well...enjoy each other. The locked in a building thing...the girls of my senior class in high school got their way..the whole senior class was locked in on Graduation Nite at the Sam Walton Health & Fitness Center.....it just post-poned our real Graduation party one nite.

    More facts/update: We live just outside the city limits in a residential subdivision, paved street, gas, utilities, all that/ Just no zoning laws....yet. His lot is 280 deep, 100 wide..just like mine...he now has a total of 11 various auto's and 2 junky campers setting on his property...they are not classic autos and there's no point to restoring them. I'm personally not concerned as I stated earlier I'm not planing on selling my place soon...and I'm not here that often to see it, my wife is upset with it however. The other "concerned neighbors" live across the street and couple houses down...I share a boundary with him...they just bought the place a few months ago...haven't met them...really wasn't planning on it...I thank you all for your advise...especially CJLP...i kinda feel the same way as you..What he does on his property is his business/ I don't want to get communist laws passed here that might later come back to bite myself on the rear. Fences make for good neighbors.....the higher the better...maybe I'll make mine 8ft instead of 6. I guess my real question is how do I go about remaining "diplomatically neutral" and not get sucked into this War? Thanks Guys and Gals.

    Redefining Enterprise: I got some time on my hands so here goes: sorry,

    (1) run B&B out on a rail.

    (2) the April idea doesn't work...it's to soon in history for him..he's the 1st captain of ncc-1701 enterprise....and Archer's established as Captain....if the writers would stop with the quantum leap stuff...I could get lost in the fantasy of him as Archer and not Sam Beckett. The temporal cold war and all that stuff could have been avoided by better writing. I'd like to see the "look" of the show begin to move toward a feel like TOS so it will complete/complement the Star Trek Chronology/Canon......at some point I would like to see Archer given orders back at starfleet command and a scene where he addresses the crew and makes a speech which would include briefing the crew about their new 5 year mission..."to seek out new life...new civilizations...to boldly go" Kirk may have been quoting the famous Archer and never mentioned it! Archer could be killed off later in the Series and Starfleet command could make "exploration" the standard mission for all Enterprise ships that follow in memory of Archer's service...it's that kind of tie-in that I believe this series should make.

    dear, that's the idea I'm now planning...the 6ft privacy fence...cedar...about $800 and 6 months for me to build...seeing as I'm only home 3days a month. I'm not really worried about what he does on his property...i'm mean i feel for the guy if he's trying to feed his family and working on people's cars to do it...it just was another issue i wasn't looking forward to having to address the second i got home.
