  1. Correct me if I am wrong, it happens occasionally, but didn't Archer say his Great-Grandfather?  I remember watching that episode and as soon as I heard that line I started making calculations as to how it could fit with the Eugenics Wars being in the 1990s.  If Archer was about 45 he would have been born around 2108.  If his father was around 45 at that time he would have been born around 2063.  If Archers grandfather was around 45 at that point he would have been born around 2018.  If Archer's great grandfather was around 45 at that time he would have been born around 1973.  That would put him in his 20's during the 1990s.  While this is abit farfetched, it is still possible.

that doesn't really work..cause we saw pictures of archer around age 10 with his father and his father wasn't n his 50's or 60's. and his father was suppost to have worked with cocran b4 he left for Alpha centari

  2. I like to believe the Eugenics Wars were began in 1992 and ended 1996:clap:

If we keep making changes to what TOS said in the past, as we progress more into the future, then we'd be calling what much of what is said in that series to be untrue for every series in Trek.

Sure there are minor things in Trek that we can overlook, small mistakes...

But I feel the Eugenics Wars were fought in the 90s, and we cannot overlook that fact...

    ...Or we could...

how about this for a theory: Archer at end of season 3 isn't really back in 1940's...but some alt time line where he's n the middle of the Eugenics war in 20xx... and he is! (becomes) his very own great grand-father!

  4. DUDES! JUST SAW STARSHIP TROOPERS 2 LAST NITE....AWESOME MOVIE....99% BETTER THAN THE 1ST ONE....i hated all that "info-commercial b.s. this was just a real cool movie...with some good drama...acting..o.k. so-what if they borrowed the Bug in-side thing from MIB...it was a great movie! and that nude chic was hot!

  5. YEA...i LOOKED ALL OVER JUST FOR A SCREEN SAVER OF THE SAME FEDERATION/STARFLEET LOGO...AS SEEN ON PICARDS MONITOR IN HIS READY ROOM JUST B4/AFTER HE GETS A TRANSMITTION FROM STARFLEET COMMAND....ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET IT CHEAP.....LIKE IN "FREE"...OR STEAL IT?

  6. THEY SUGGESTED AT THE STAR TREK CONVENTION IN CHICAGO THAT ALL MAIL CAMPAIGNS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED IN BUSINESS SIZE ENVELOPES AND MAILED TO UPN HEADQUARTERS..WITH NOTHING ON THE OUTSIDE TO GIVE IT AWAY THAT IT'S ABOUT ENTERPRISE...THAT WAY THEY WILL BE COMPELLED TO OPEN EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM AND HAVE TO HIRE MORE STAFF TO DO IT.

  7. I've tried them all but I still just love good old 'FRENCH'S' :)  :)

ditto on that...it's always good to stick to the classic yellow.......it's made by Rickett & Coalman ......Springfield, Mo ....did you know.? I used to have to pick it up at their warehouse there.....the smell of spice was so strong in there.....it really made me sick!

  8. Apha centari must be the home of the Denobulans...you did hear Danials say Denobulans didn't you? so you got the United Nations of Earth/Sol system, Planatary Confederation of 40 ERidani(Vulcans), United Planets of 61 Cygni, Star Empire of Epsilon Indii, Alph Centauri. I know the Vulcans are from 40 Eridani, but the others: Tellerites, Andorians, Denobulans? any canon information on which are from where? and how about the Rigal people?

  9. (1)
that's why i said it was a new idea

...that violates 35 years of continuity.

    (2)

    - B&B have created the "mess"

    What mess? :dude:

    (3)

it's just an idea to solve the plot problems of (1) the Vulcan's have knowledge of the Romulans, past "history" with them.

    How is this a problem?

    (2) Earth doesn't have a strong starfleet, needs a reason for building up a large fleet.

    SEE: Season 3, Xindi conflict

    (4)

    (3) The Vulcan High-Command has a much more advanced/powerful starfleet in 2154/ there has to be an explaination as to where/what happened to it? Why is the Federation Starfleet dominataed by Earth Designed/Named Starships? where did all the Vulcan starships go?

Vulcans aren't interested in conflict. When the Xindi attacked Earth, they had no interest in going after the attackers, so it's logical to assume that the Vulcans would allow Earth's Starfleet to become the dominant force. As for where the Vulcan fleet went... perhaps they are orbiting Vulcan?

    (1) it doesn't violate 35 years of continuity...besides B&B don't care about continuity: visit www.firsttvdrama.com/enterprise/index.php3

just because no one have ever "stated" the Romulan/Earth war began between the Romulans/Vulcans..doesn't change "continuity"

    (2) see: www.firsttvdrama.com/enterprise/index.php3

    (3) it's a problem because Earth has had 100yrs of contact with the Vulcans/ it's Star Trek canon(TNG-Reunification 1&2)which establishes "kinship" between Vulcans and Romulans.....very illogical that the Vulcans wouldn't have told Us(humans) about this threat....and why T'Pol never said anything about them to Archer during "Minefield" or after Archer's trip to the future..and picks up the book..and said "gee wiz wally, what's the..Romulan Star Empire?"

    (4) check your "star charts" buddy- the Romulans wouldn't just "go around" the Vulcans to "attack/start a war" with the pathetic humans...unless you really buy into this new TCW where the Romulans from the distant future start the war by trying to destroy the Federation before it's built. That's a temporal causality loop( and show's just how pathetic the story writing has become.

  10. the Deadalus class starships are a pre-federation/early federation starship:

known Deadalus class starships: U.S.S. Deadalus NCC-(xxx)

    U.S.S. Essex

    U.S.S. Horizon

    U.S.S. Archon

There is the model on Sisco's Desk(Visual Canon) but as CJLP has pointed out...none of the principal actors actually pointed to it and said any thing like "Gee, Sisco that's a great model of a Deadalus!" so I have to concede to his point...the design of the Deadalus is not 100% canon, in fact we've never seen one on screen.

But as for the U.S.S. Carolina NCC-160 I do not believe it belongs in that class...It was referenced to by Scott in TOS, but later in TNG it was stated the last Deadalus was de-commissioned(taken out of service) in 2197...TOS was 2264 and since the Archon NCC-189 was lost in 2167...and the highest numbered "Deadalus" class starship...If we "assume" it was launched and lost in the same year and was the last built( since the Constitution class was authorized to be constructed by the Articles of Federation-2161) one must assume the "deadalus" class is a pre-federation design that entered the service of the Federation with Star-Fleet.

  11. ....as the young man finally sounded those words ".....Father", I sliced my golf swing just as a messenger pigeon from the Batavia was half-way between it and the Elusive....the bird fell dead in the water.

"excellent shot, sir." was the word from #1 who was now my acting caddy on the stern of the Bonaventure.

"Sorry, Ol' Chap..." I yelled toward the Batavia, ".....I hope that wasn't an urgent message!" I turned to WeareBorg.

"I don't know "for sure" that I am....your Father....but the possibility seems to be there....I once had what I believed was a "dream" of an encounter with a mermaid, she came to me on night....and was gone the next morning when I awoke...you have her "looks" and that would account for your powers, on the other hand your mother.....and I by no means would talk ill of your mum, but she may have been ...well.....a hell-maiden. I know of only one way to 'prove' if you are indeed my son....you must "take the pattern" . I must arrange for your protection and safe passage to Amber. You must "walk the great pattern of Amber"....and if the blood of Amber flows threw your vains...you will know "who/what" you really are...a son of the Royal House of Amber and you will have power over shadow, the ability to walk thru Shadow...but if you're not of Royal Blood you will be destroyed when you set foot on the pattern. But then again, it's all your choice. You must choose if you want to risk it, or not.

  12. on the aft of the Bonaventure, We sat having our mid-day tea and crumpets under the canopy, watching the show..."my lord, was that an American Flag he just put over the side?" I asked as I watched the events. Couldn't help but "laugh" when seeing Jeanway's reply to his pigeon post. I looked to "#1" and exclaimed..."well, I guess his message didn't agree with her!"

  13. headborg, in just reading your first post on this topic, I really like it. But explain about the Nazis and the unknown alien.

Ok..I just re-watched "Zero Hour" for the 4th time, yes the Alien is a Reman, so atleast B&B are working the Romulan War back into their "new" historic pre-federation chrono-no-logic quantum leaping crossover line. So in the poll I gave zero hour a 6 but now it's earned a 7 from me. looks like the xendi arc/temporal cold war arc will become the base-line history and the Romulan War will be a off-shoot of the TCW which is just as bad...now there's two temporal causality loops at play: according to B&B the Federation is created "inspired" by daniels "suggesting it to Archer...And Archer runs it up the flag poll so-to-speak- which really doesn't do credit for "the free will of the collective races" which unite for their common good...now it's more like...."gee whiz...that archer guy thanks we should"...well I guess if Archer says we should.." and now with this Romulans from the future sending a Reman back in Earth's past to Destroy humanity before the Romulan/Earth war and preventing the Federation from being created...causing the Earth/Romulan War in the first place...see it's just STUPID! It's going to be season 4 of Time TRek...they need to take the "club" off the steering wheel...they only know how to fly in circles...why not a season of space exploration?

  14. You know, the only thing that really sticks in my mind is, i think T'Pol gave a date of 2152 as the year. Did anyone else hear that, or am i just imagining things? *will DEFINATELY have to watch it again sunday to be extra sure, that confused me*

yep...I just re-watched it.....BLOOPER! She sure did say 2152! oh..well the writers are in a hurry...dead-line pressure and all...pulling this 'scripts" out of the air with no real "direction" to go in.

  15. I was seated at the breakfast table when Weareborg returned from some "mission of mercy" as he called it..I did not inquire as to the nature, I was stiff and sore all over...felt like I had taken a tumble off a cliff. Out of military courtesy myself and "number one" "stood" and reseated ourselfs with WEaREBorg..

"You must try this, young man." I recommended Weareborg..and motioned toward the Ship's Chef, "....Mr. Perkins please bring another serving of that "fabulous" new creation of yours.." and he served Weareborg four poached eggs benedict over a toasted and split english muffin buried under a mound of cajun blacked chicken diced with pimento peppers and chives, smoothed with hollandaise sauce and served with hash-browns and a tall glass of fresh squeezed O.J.

The conversation was all business til my first officer excused himself. Then came the time I had been thus far able to put off. I began.

"I don't know "how" you arrived on Bora Bora, but I don't think it was by chance, was it?" Weareborg didn't speak with his mouth full, he just shook his head "no" he was at this point in heaven.

"It's good isn't it! Someday, when his indenture service is complete, Mr. Perkins plans to Open a Restaurant in America..I believe he has a great future ahead of him....the best cook I've ever had in my service." Knowing I couldn't keep changing the subject any longer, I returned to the "personal".

"I've noticed a "kinship" with you and that was why I asked if you knew your parents. And I was wondering...what your thoughts were on the subject? do you think it might be possible....." I hesitated, not wanting to corner the lad with such.

  16. ....that morning

I awoke as WEAREBORG pulled me up from the deck of the Elusive and began to help me on board the small launch to row us back to the Bonaventure. He and the English Merchantman had pulled up sometime in the night.

"Easy Son." I exclaimed as he drug me to my feet. He gave me a strange glance and I knew what it was. I returned the glance...adding "figure of speech, Lad. But I've been meaning to ask you....tell me what you know of your Mother and Father? are they living? I winced in pain, and he noticed.

"Give you a good working over, did he, old man." Weareborg chuckled as he ordered the sailor to "heave to" toward the Bonaventure.

"That's the trouble when you have to fight to hurt, and can't just kill 'em out right." I replied. "He kicked like a mule, and bit like a crocodile!"
