It happened to me whenever I tried to read a topic. This is the first time I've been able to post in 2 days. :jem'hadar:

That was quite possibly one of the best episodes of Enterprise.

Ever.

I honestly don't think there was a dull moment in the entire show.

I've got to give it a 10.

But anyways a really dumb question. Does anybody have the ratings from when it was in its old time slot to the time slot it is in now?

I used to regularly check Zap2it's ratings to see just how ENT did each night. If I remember correctly, they usually scored in the 2.3 range on Wednesdays, but dipped to around the 2.0 to 2.1 range when Smallville moved into a competing time slot. After the move to Fridays, the scores seemed to hover anywhere from 1.5 to 1.9.

I could be confusing some of these numbers with summer reruns which, of course, would be lower. Either way, ENT hasn't been in the 3.0 range for years.

I also agree with Odie. I usually hang out with friends on Friday nights instead of watching tv. However, I still make sure to tape the show or have someone tape it for me.

The powers that be didn't try to kill the show, they ended it before it did too much damage to the prized franchise property.

That's entirely subjective. None of us can know their motives with absolute certainty without a direct statement from tptb themselves.

There may have been too many options on this poll for the anti-Enterprise folks to choose from, with only one option for pro-Enterprise folks to settle on.  It may be skewing the results, giving the appearance that a decisive majority of voters think ENT was a great show and should continue, when in fact the poll shows the voters evenly split.  So 50% of us believe the ENT was flawed/stunk/was a mistake and 50% of us think it was a good show.

 

Of course, this is thus far in the voting.  Things could change overnight!

Actually it appears that only 5 poll-voters thought badly of the show - the first option reflects that and the second is similar. The third and fourth options do not say anything about dislike for ENT. Rather, those options are for the people who just don't think ENT is coming back. Some of the options seem to overlap a little. Somehow, this things says I've voted already even though I haven't . If I were to vote, though, I'd be torn between options 4 and 5. Both are true to me, butI wont give up on the SaveENT efforts just yet.

I listened live and though it was a great show; I'd recommend the mp3 for anyone who hasn't heard it yet. It was fun and dil did a really good job representing us. It was also cool to listen to Tim B. and Chase Masterson and their thoughts on the cancelation. :)

I've never watched wrestling, especially not the over-acted type that I personally consider the WWE, etc, to be. I have no problem with other people liking it, though. To each his own.

They've been focusing a bit less on Baltar/#6 for the last couple eps, and the series is much better for it. I'm actually getting hooked . Last night's ep was great as far as I'm concerned. The show can be a little slow at times and doesn't always keep my attention, but it is fun to watch.

I doubt any new Trek movie will be forthcoming for the forseeable future.

I'm afraid I have to agree.

To be fair, I will say that WWE and original eps of America's Next Top Model regularly scored higher than ENT, at least in the last couple of seasons. ENT is still one of UPN's top shows, though.
