  1. Jeanway, I want to thank you for starting this post. Off hand I can't think of any really gross things that has happen to me in restuarants and around work being that I work for a multi-cultural company people tend to bring in all kinds of foods to try and share. Cicadas are coming out after a 17 year sleep and I'm sure we're be eating them in a number of dishes. Anyway I wanted to thank because after reading this post I no longer have to worry about dieting. I just read this and skip lunch or dinner. :P . We need a :gag face on the clickable smilies.

  2. I have both my ears pierced, once on each side. It's shocking I know but I'm still a nice girl. Under my navel, I have a scar from a surgery that is about an inch long and *w* shaped, when asked about it I just say it was a piercing gone wrong.

  3. LOL. Don't feel too bad DutchDebbie, I've never met anyone famous either. I'm in the middle of *no where* Ohio and all we have around here is farm boys. I did meet my husband's cousin at a wedding once and someone told me he was the drummer for a popular country band but that was many years ago.

  4. I've watched and enjoyed nearly all of the series but for the cartoon series. I did get a little bored with Voyager and never did find out how they all got home. I liked DS9 as well as TNG. I hope that someday they will all find a home on the scifi channel with the Orginal series. As for bashing anything, I'll save that for Star Wars.

  5. Germany. I would probably have to go by myself but it would be to Germany. My father is second generation American as he says. When I visit him for a week or two I tend to come back home with my father's accent in tow. I want to visit the country and see possibly want my father's family may have seen or knew of the old streets and villiages. Although years ago I called to Germany for my genealogy studies to find family members dates of birth and to work on the family history. The villiages and many of the town from which the family came were leveled during the war and many of the records were lost. The work in genealogy will go on though. Crystal

  6. I'm a Trip girl. With no Trip there would be no me. I guess I still would watch but I just wouldn't be circling Ent in my t.v. guide or putting it on my reminder mode on my television. I admit when I first started watching it was for Archer but I just love Trip's voice and diction.

  7. I'm a *topper* too. A few years ago we had a discussion with one of my brother's and his wife about it. It seems my dear brother had hung the toilet paper the wrong way and, of course, our mother was informed of this monumental error and mother polled all of us and her daughters-in-law about the *proper* positioning of toilet paper. We all gave our reasons for the way toilet paper should be hung and why from ruining your nail polish when you reached for the paper and collided with the wall to having the paper stick to the wall by static electricity. Whatever the reason my brother was told to hang the toilet paper the right way as our mother would not stand for a rebel on this ALL important household issue.

  8. Oh yes at my Grandma's house out yonder way in Kentucky. Grandma had a well that at one time you had to pump by hand to get the water out of. The old out house was creepy and smelled terrible with spiders in it and a crack in the toilet seat that pinched ya. It didn't matter what time it was day or night walking to it was eery. There was a old rooster that would wait ya out and chase ya to and from it. My sister hauled off and kicked and got in trouble but it didn't chase her anymore. In the late summer my parents would send us to Grandma's, my cousins would also be there and Grandma would send us to neighboring farms to help out during the day. At night we would come back to her old house and sit on the porch and break beans for canning. My Grandma was a harsh loveless woman that made the time there even harder yet every year as a child we were sent to her. As a teen-ager I refused to go and I thought my Mother would tear me in two but my Father took my side and that summer I just hung out with my Dad.

Since my Grandma past away years ago, I wonder if my Uncle replaced the toilet seat. I'll have to ask him someday.

  9. I voted for Mayweather to pass away but I have changed my mind. It took me a minute to think it through and with Reed being basically *genetically* dead in E2 I decided it would be better to see him pass on. I think that the other crew members could continue with unions and children. It's sad but in E2 I related most to him knowing full well how it actually feels to be *genetically* dead. He'll be missed but he wouldn't be leaving a future spouse(s) or children behind. Crystal

  10. Contact the Better Business Bureau and lodge a complaint. Don't worry about not paying as you didn't use the service and they're out nothing. If they threaten to put it on your credit report it can be explain away by having a notation put on your report about a complaint you lodge with the BBB about them. After you lodge the complaint about them you may discover Uniway will be nicer to you and will try to *resolve* your conplaint as the need to stay on the good side of the BBB to stay in business.

  11. What are the odds that the Enterprise would travel such a vast distance from the home world to encounter an alien that bleeds red blood? I understand that red blood color isn't just apart of being from Earth, and it may be found in other creatures in the universe, but I found it disappointing to see the red blood on the knives edge. I imagine then considering the shock value wouldn't have been so effective it Degra bled umm...say purple blood. Crystal

  12. I'm not too sure if I can believe in them as much as they believe in me. I mean I know what may faults and weaknesses are and at times I don't hold much value to my qualities. As for the aliens I know they seem nice enough and their cultures are interesting at times. The other day one gave me a token from his home in India and told me it was worth .50 cents. I also work with Mexicans and I get taught the *Mexican Word of the Day* from one of them.

  13. My husband got me into it. He and his first wife went to classes for it back in the late 70's and he became a Tech/ what is now known as a Tech-Plus but she remained a Noviceup until she became a silent key. My in-laws are into it too, first my mother-in-law and then my father-in-law. With my husband being a radio/ phone freak it had to happen and he drove me crazy until I agreed to get my license. I won't allow my husband to bug his sons about it, I just figure that if they want to talk to their father they will figure out he's on the radio.

  14. :force: I had to do five words a minute to get my license and I didn't go to any classes to learn about it as in Ohio in the 80's most of the classes just had men in them and it was kind of like a *men's only club* back then so I studied the Tune In The World book and learned the Morse code off of tapes and was given a key to practice with. I aced the test and quit instead of going on to take the General test.

  15. Listen well kind of in and out of the car but not the way you think. I'm a Amateur Radio Operator/ A Ham Operator and a rarer one being that I'm female. I am currently just a Tech-Plus and I should be studying to get a General class license but I'm hoping that in a year or two the FCC with just *Grandfather* us to that classification. As for listening to commercial radio, yes at times I do listen. Crystal

  16. Eevil? Me? No way!! Just ask God...well wait a moment, don't do that. He knows I'm a enactive Mormon with a lot going on with my life and *soul* or lack there of. Okay, I cheer for the villain in some horror movies like that Texas Chainsaw Massarce. I just don't get it, here you see a young girl running for her life from a deranged killer with a chainsaw. If he was after me God help him. I'd not be one to just slightly maim him it order to get away from him. I'd cut his still beating heart our of his chest and feed it to him. Eevil? Me? Well just a little but completely harmless unless your a deranged killer with a weapon.

  17. Well, I just hope it isn't my three favorites or I'm not going to continue to watch the program with any real interest. The rest of the characters don't matter to me very much but I'm hoping nothing happens to Archer, T'Pol, or Trip. I see you didn't list Dr Phlox on the survey so I won't even consider the thought that we might somehow loose him or Porthos.

  18. I will rarely eat pizza, it's one of my least favorite foods. Too messy for me as my husband likes it made with extra pizza sauce and cheese. Usually it's all veggie with extra extra banana peppers. I order bread sticks and pizza sauce for myself and a salad.

  19. It would depend on where I was going on the plane. If I was going to visit my Mother I definitely would have to have my Therapist sitting beside me. I love my Mother but I was never what she wanted in a daughter.

If I was going someplace fun, I think I would like to sit next to Trip and just chat with him about anything, I love the sound of his voice.

If I was going to a Dog Show, of course, the Ent Doggie would be next to me on the plane with me sneaking him treats.
