As for me I can't get over Phlox and his smile. I don't remember which episode it was but I remember him smiling broadly at Archer and I couldn't help but laugh.

Think about family homes and children. Do they all co-hab in one big house or do each have a private home with the other mate. It could be a pain to figure out who's home and when or where.
-
Yes Vulcan IDIC that's the answer I was looking for. I remember reading the novel and thinking how funny it was. :)

Maybe but most likely *those* type doctors would insist on doing things the old fashion way. (Cringe)

It may be a cultural thing and completely normal for the Denobulan society. It may of had to do increasing the gene pool. There are many reason why and it doesn't have to do with sex. Perhaps Phlox will enlighten us with the anwsers to this in the next season. I hope!

You're probably right Odie, afterall a doctor is a doctor. It's just that I don't care for any doctor male, female, or Denobulan touching me in that manner. :)

I think Phlox is a very interesting character and would like to see more of him next season. I love the way he treats the crew and his ideas and his*zoo* of creatures that he keeps. The only thing is, I'm glad I'm not Soto or any other female crew member because of the yearly girl check up. I certainly wouldn't want Phlox to give me a pap smear test. :)

:) Geez am I glad I'm no where near such an occurrence. The thought of a earthquake terrifies me. :) In Ohio we have tornadoes and such but at least you can see or hear them coming. Daniel wanted to move west once but I told him if it's to California he was moving alone.

In ancient Roman history it was accepted and sometimes expected that a man old enough to be a father or even a grandfather would take a younger wife. Women of the Roman era would often marry as young as 12 or 13. Childbirth was a factor as many women died giving birth. So I don't see being 10 or 20 years older than a wife to be a problem.

Just wondering if anyone knows this? You give your answer and I'll fuss up with mine. :)

Maybe someday I'll do it.

I'm usually wrong but when I'm right. I'll admit I'm wrong even when I know I'm right. For example my husband and I were talking about time a few days ago and he informed me that at 2:00 o'clock evening he would be at one of his drops. I made the mistake of laughing and worse yet I correcting. (Cringe, I must learn my place.) Anyway, to keep peace in my household and him happy I acknowledged there was a 2:00 o'clock evening.
It's two hours after lunch time if anyone is interested. {BC} whispers it's 2 in the afternoon.

:) That scared the pee out of me I was typing my husband a msg on a pager and was busy and then Kirk yelled Kahn!!! and I about fell out of my chair.
Gee I wonder if it would of had the same effect if he has yelled Oscar Meyer.

Tokar. I worked for several years after my marriage with my husband and he was my boss. I admit there was friction at times but it was romantic too. After hours as we waited for the night to fall on us we would dance in the warehouse, have a small supper, and then drive home in the company car to our bed.
Those days seemed magical and I miss that they're over but someday I hope to be beside my husband in work, home, play, and the afterlife. :)

Well just be thankful that's all it is. You're a pretty yl and there's no reason to not have it done now. I'm sure you'll be in the best of care.

Please don't sweat it or make a issue of the age thing. When I married my husband I discovered that my son by marriage was only 13 years younger than me. I kind of grow up with him and we collected baseball cards together. Compatability is whats important. Maturity is different in each person and I admit when I married Daniel I was very much a little girl and he liked my youth and playfulness. Now I've mature and I feel a very close bond with my husband.

Never forget that despite pain, heartache, anger, and hatred. GOD still loves you and things aren't done to your body, mind, and soul to destroy you but to temper you and help you grow in spirit and to be strong and faithful.

Sam the Smuggler, sorry I was just making light of a situation. I know what you mean and to answer your question. Apart from the blood stuff I wouldn't mind living in the dark or being what sun lovers call a vampire
-
Smuggler Sam look up the disease Xeroderma Pigmentosum and tell me I'm not a vampire. True I don't fear the cross or God's wrath on me, but a cross made with any nickel alloy will burn me as I'm allergic to nickel other than that I'm just a run of the mill *blood* sucker. Just kidding.
We're all Undead until we die. LOL
