  1. being from NY, when we had an inch or even a dusting of snow here in VA, i was just amazed how bad things got here, and how they closed things up. i got around in my firebird that sucks in the rain, anyone with a decent car would have NO problem in this stuff. and last i knew there were mostly transplants from the north living here so whats the excuse. lol.

  2. well heres four photos of the sunset back home in ny, from mill hill in binghamton. these were my first attempts at the sunset pics, whatcha think? probably gonna have to put them in different posts on down. check em out let me know if im on the right track.

  3. well this is a petition i got in an email. granted maybe im a bit biased, but i think this is a good thing, in memorial of those brothers, and sisters that gave their lives that others may live. if you agree copy and paste it to an email and sign it and pass it on. if not then dont.

    PEACE.

    prospective employees.

It's only 10 simple questions, so.. grab a pencil and paper,

keeping track of your letter answers to each question. Make sure to

change the subject of the e-mail to read YOUR total.

When you are finished, forward this to friends/family, and also

Now add up the total number of points.

OVER 60 POINTS: Others see you as someone they should "handle with care."

You're seen as vain, self-centered, and who is extremely dominant. Others may admire you,

wishing they could be more like you, but don't always trust you, hesitating to become too

    deeply involved with you.

51 TO 60 POINTS: Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality; a natural leader, who's quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones. They see you as bold and adventuresome, someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in your company because of the excitement you radiate.

41 TO 50 POINTS: Others see you as lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.

31 TO 40 POINTS: Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over if that trust is ever broken.

21 TO 30 POINTS: Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy. They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder. It would really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then, usually decide against it. They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature.

UNDER 21 POINTS: People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions & who doesn't want to get involved with anyone or anything! They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that

don't exist. Some people think you're boring. Only those who know you well know that you aren't.

  6. heres a new one from my buddy, hilarious, and clean so i had to share it with all.

    Subject: Testify

If you ever testify in court, you might wish you could have been

as sharp as this policeman. He was being cross-examined by a

defense attorney during a felony trial. The lawyer was trying to

    undermine the policeman's credibility...

Q: "Officer -- did you see my client fleeing the scene?"

A: "No sir. But I subsequently observed a person matching the

description of the offender, running several blocks away."

Q: "Officer -- who provided this description?"

A: "The officer who responded to the scene."

Q: "A fellow officer provided the description of this so-called

offender. Do you trust your fellow officers?"

A: "Yes, sir. With my life."

Q: "With your life? Let me ask you this then, officer. Do you

have a room where you change your clothes in preparation for your

    daily duties?"

    A: "Yes sir, we do."

Q: "And do you have a locker in the room?"

    A: "Yes sir, I do."

Q: "And do you have a lock on your locker?"

    A: "Yes sir."

Q: "Now why is it, officer, if you trust your fellow officers with your

life, you find it necessary to lock your locker in a room you

    share with these same officers?"

A: "You see, sir -- we share the building with the court complex,

and sometimes lawyers have been known to walk through that room."

The courtroom erupted in laughter, and a prompt recess was called.

The officer on the stand has been nominated for this year's "Best

Comeback" line -- and we think he'll win.

  7. my buddy just sent me this, i thought it was hilarious. i remember quite a few of the refered to chain letters. how many do you remember? :(

    A QUICK THANKS

I want to thank all of you who have taken the time

    and trouble to send me

your damn chain letters over the past two years.

    Thank you for making me

feel safe, secure, blessed, and wealthy.

    Because of your concern...

I no longer drink Coca Cola because it can remove

    toilet stains.

I no longer drink Pepsi or Dr Pepper since the

    people who make these

products are atheists who refuse to put "Under God"

    on their cans.

I no longer drink anything out of a can because I

will get sick from the rat

    feces and urine.

I no longer use Saran wrap in the microwave because

    it causes cancer.

I no longer check the coin return on pay phones

    because I could get pricked

with a needle infected with AIDS.

I no longer use cancer causing deodorants even

though I smell like a wet dog

    on a hot day.

I no longer go to shopping malls because someone

will drug me with a perfume

    sample and rob me.

I no longer receive packages from UPS or Fed Ex

    since they are actually Al

    Qaida in disguise.

I no longer shop at Target since they are French and

    don't support our

    American troops.

I no longer answer the phone because someone will

ask me to dial a stupid

number for which I will get the phone bill from hell

    with calls to Jamaica,

    Uganda, Singapore, and Uzbekistan.

I no longer eat prepackaged foods because the

    estrogens they contain will

    turn me gay.

I no longer eat KFC because their chickens are

    actually horrible mutant

freaks with no eyes or feathers.

I no longer date the opposite sex because they will

    take my kidneys and

leave me taking a nap in a bathtub full of ice.

I no longer have any sneakers -- but that will

change once I receive my free

    replacement pair from Nike.

I no longer buy expensive cookies from Neiman Marcus

    since I now have their

    recipe.

I no longer worry about my soul because I have

    363,214 angels looking out

    for me.

I no longer have any savings because I gave it to a

    sick girl who is about

to die in the hospital (for the 1,387,258th time).

I no longer have any money at all, but that will

    change once I receive the

$15,000 that Microsoft and AOL are sending me for

    participating in their

    special e-mail program.

Yes, I want to thank all of you soooooooo much for

    looking out for me! I

    will now return the favor.

If you DON'T send this e-mail to at least 1200

    people in the next 60

seconds, a large bird with diarrhea will crap on

    your head at 5:00 pm

tomorrow afternoon. I know this will occur because

    it actually happened to a

friend of a friend of a friend

    Best Wishes,

  8. changing the hims and hes to shes and hers this is great, and i can relate as well yillara

And now I'm all alone again

Nowhere to turn, no one to go to

Without a home without a friend

Without a face to say hello to

And now the night is near

I can make believe she's here

    ...

    I love her

But when the night is over

    She is gone

    The river's just a river

Without her the world around me changes.

The trees are bare and everywhere the streets

Are full of strangers. - from "On My Own" from Les Miserables.

  9. shoot for the stars, enjoy the ride, should you fall, youll have a soft cloud to land on.

thats how life SHOULD be lived.

death is the ultimate destination for all, life is the journey, enjoy it, live it, love it.

something i try to do. more and more.
