    I think it will be very hard, possibly impossible, to unite all the people on earth with such different cultures and beliefs. However, a common enemy could unite us all, but right now we are far to busy killing each other..  :bow:

    I agree with you Stelfan, there's no way the human race would evolve to the utopia of ST, at the moment anyway.

    I don't think you can group all dogs of one breed together with a particular temperament. It depends on how they are "brought up", so to speak. I have a Rotweiller, which have a particularly bad reputation, but he's lovely. I have trained him well, and the most important thing is i have NEVER hit him. Mistreating a dog and /or chaining him up are the two ways to guarantee a nasty animal.

    I refused to watch DS9 when it first aired 'cos i was mortified and angry that they stopped making TNG. However , my sister,Seven, convinced me to borrow her video's when it had been going a couple of seasons and i was hooked. In fact it is my joint fave series with TNG.

    Well, if they can't, or won't, do a big-screen movie, I sure wish they'd do a mini-series or something.  I'd also like to see the return of Sisko and maybe something about Jake and Kassidy's unborn child.

    I know reading a book isn't quite the same as watching on screen, but you and Klingonmike should get the DS9 Avatar books 1&2. They are set several months after "What You Leave Behind" and Jake and the unborn child play a big part in the story.
