I agree with you Indy. I think everything will start falling into place next season. Some of the story endings have been a bit disappointing so far, but i have a feeling that will start to change.Character development is what Trek does better than anyone else, and it always seems to improve once WE get to know them better i feel. Everyone knows i am no lover of Berman or Braga but i have to say the way they are taking season 3 sounds very promising. I just wish i lived in the States so i could get to see it sooner.Sky one are not showing it over here till January, i think.

I'm with you Bevfank. I voted DS9 'cos i realllly want a DS9 movie, but a mixed cast with TNG would be just as good. However i have wanted to see Q in a movie for ages. That is a must for me.

:angry: my question is (and i know this has been asked by other trekkies a lot) but does anyone think they will every make a voyager movie, or even a ds9 movie. they have made several TNG movies(and all were good by the way) but i sure would like to see a voyager or ds9 movie.

I would love to see a DS9 movie, but apparantly when it finished it's run they de- commisioned all the sets and all as they stated they wouldn't make a movie.So unfortunately i think the chances are slim to none... but you know what they say. Never say never.

Just to keep you up to date on what is happening. I have the legal right to remove Amy from R.E, as many muslim, Hindu and Jewish parents do with their children. I have had a reply from the headmaster who acknowledges my complaint and wishes to speak with me in person to discuss the matter, in the interest of Amy's education. He will get back to me within 10 days to arrange an appt. so i will let you know what happens. Are there any seperation laws in the UK? (Seperation of church and state). I am not well versed in British law, if there is then this would seem to be a clear violation of the law. If there isn't then there really should be one.

Good question VBG, and the answer is i don't know. I shall have to find out. I have never heard of seperation law, and assuming there is one just how would it work in my favour? pls forgive my ignorance, but i know very little about law.

My daughter told the teacher that when her asian friend ate a bacon buttie she would kneel on the prayer mat. She said she knew her comment was a bit over the top but she wanted the teacher and students to understand how offensive she found the request.

Wow...I'm glad her friends refused as well; I guess it makes it easier to have company. That seems so wrong to require them to do that. I would like to know if the teacher gets disciplined for going to far.

I will make sure of her being disciplined, and also my friend( who's daughter goes to the same school )told me last night that she has to write an essay entitled " how would you convert someone to Islam?" for her homework.....and if she doesn't do it she'll get a detention!!! I find it offensive as well (the request to kneel and pray). Why not teach them about satanic sacrifices while they are at it? That's just unbelievable. Is this a private or public school?

It's a state run school VBG. Any way Amy walked out of her class today when they asked her to write about the 5 pillars of Islam.... despite my insistence that she not be taught it.Looks like i'm gonna have to go up there in person to get my point across doesn't it?

What's wrong with dogooders?

Just recently the police have just started confiscating cars belonging to hoons. (The hoons) pour diesel on the roads and do wheelies and race about with screeching brakes, and annoy everyone that lives in the area. The do-gooders say it's illegal to impound cars from the teenage hoons, and it should be stopped. They are now taking the police to court.

Totally agree with you on the dogooders lollypop. An old guy over here got put in prison for shooting and killing a young burgler who broke into his farmhouse. It was very high profile, in all the papers. Anyway he's served his time and he get's out in July, but listen to this..... The dead burglers accomplice in robbing this guy has been given the go ahead by the high court to sue him for stress brought about by publicity etc etc, apparantly it's ruined his love life or something. Talk about the lunatics taking over the asylum!!!

I also don't like how our PM is going to drag us into the EU kicking and screaming, whether we like it or not.

How we've become a soft touch for all the bogus asylum seekers on the planet, and being bled dry when my daughter can't have a decent education, my mother had to sit on a hospital trolley for 6 hours waiting for a bed....i could go on and on.

Well that's enough moaning from me...what do i like about my country?
