I'd say BBC if that was an option, but CNN works for me.

Bradbury's a great author-- with connections to Trek people? Cool!
Thanks for posting that one, hearing about my favorite authors always makes me very happy...

Welcome back, CJLP!
Glad to hear of your sucessful escape from the hospital.

Soup Dragons (I think)-- the title escapes me--- y'all know, "I'm free/to do what I want/ any old time..."

I like the new one better, although I didn't notice until I saw this thread.

If that person was me (I did say something not terrifically happy-and-loveable), sorry.
Again, very to have you back.
-
Rather not mention specs-- it involved my long-distance bf.

Use gritty, newsy film.
Hire Patrick Stewart for the voice.

Now it's Suzanne Vega's Nine Objects of Desire

Last time I brought a laptop, and wound up juggling 3 bins and a backpack.

Thanks, but no thanks. I'll stick with thinking I'm smart.

I've got a (probably wrong) idea, but
Well, I'm with everyone in saying that I'm happy you're staying. Do us a favor and tell roguedawg that coming back doesn't mean going back on his word-- it means being willing to reconsider.
Welcome back!

I'd be happy!

OK, got into a argument today with a girl at school-- need an opinion.
Am I psychotic?
I'm not too sure myself, considering what I was thinking about doing to her...

DS9/VOY, for all of the reasons above, and for the fact that they look distinctive and professional.

Of course not. That's no different than preserving photographs and other memories. Not everyone does that, or takes them in the first place, you know.

Yes, of course you're nuts. We all are.
Pretty good idea, and rather useful later on.

OK, for those of you who don't know, this is what SETI@home is:
It's taking Arecibo (sp) radio recordings and analyzing them on your screensaver. A unit is one of these recordings; once it's done, you go online and get another.
Currently, I've got a problem-- it won't let me get another.

I'm getting up at 5:30 to go and see it. My yard should be dark enough.

Continuing with Risa, stay away from any Ferengi and associates you may encounter.

I take Spanish and Latin at school, and am teaching myself the Cyrillic alphabet and hieroglyphics (basic ones-- syllables, titles, numbers, etc.) at home.
You might be a Trekkie if...

Hey, do NJCL (Latin/Hellenic/Classical geek) cons count? If the standard garb's from a few thousand years back, that is.
I wore a palla & stola, complete with flip-flops because my solae (sp) went missing, along with the belt.
May also very easily signify Latin geek. In Latin class, my Roman name (yup, gotta have 'em) was Tiberia.
So, I like rock-climbing.
"Beam me up, Mr. Speaker." Hey politics junkies and Washingtonians, sound at all familiar? *cough* think toupee *cough**cough*
