Some people are nuts...

I can't get into the off-topic forum; it keeps blocking me. (I can link through a recent-reply topic, but I can't see it displayed as a forum.) I'm trying to get to Qo'nos; can somebody please give me a link to the page where you type the password & enter? I think I remember the password, although I haven't been here much since the Risa days. (It's iagree, right?)

Yes. A lot.
Do you like cats?

I am allergic to PenacillinSame here. And several other medicines, including almost every painkiller on the market...

Scrabble... I'm good with words...
Or poker. I'm a very good liar. See above.

Hear, hear.

polytheism - mainly Roman mythology.Another myth geek here. I also love writing, and do a lot of that; I like animals, reading, hiking, kayaking, archery, and pretty much anything I have time to learn. And I love languages. And debates.

Quite probably this morning, when I found a spider sitting on my faucet. A big one, a wolf spider--possibly an inch across. It wasn't moving; I was scared to touch it. I finally had to take a big shoe, crush it, and scrape the guts off with a credit card.
And yes, that's a lot scarier than anything else that's ever happened. I'm an arachnophobe, and I'm not half as scared of death as I am of spiders!

I write, drink tea (for the record, I prefer lemon or green or white), meditate and get whatever's stressing me out done. The latter usually helps the most.

Well, it's been an interesting few months.
Here and offline.
So interesting, in fact, that I don't really have much time online anymore.
So I'm leaving this site... I'll miss talking, of course. Trek and other discussions... mostly the sensitive ones; I like debate.
Anyways, goodbye.

I cry... but not in public or in front of others.

Everything but country.

That's one of my favorite episodes... hey, it just lured me out of Risa when I saw the topic...

Air Force, with Navy a second.
On mottoes:
Semper fidelus (sp) is a good motto (always faithful). But I do find it amusing that "semper paratus" (always prepared) is shared with the Boy Scouts.

WASHINGTON, D.C., the non-state!!!! (but currently living in VA and commuting)

None.
1) I don't like needles and
2) it's fairly barbaric, IMO.

Very diplomatic, EJP...
I'm on my second day of being snowed in just outside Washington, DC.
The snowplow seems to have forgotten us... and the driveway is WAAAAAAAAY too long to shovel... (tenth of a mile on a hill).

I haven't laughed that hard...

I loved "Tapestry".
And, of course, everyone loves "The Trouble With Tribbles"!

GREAT resource: Gott's book, Time Travel In Einstein's Universe.
It covers lots of things, including string theory.
And it's readable, even with the charts & diagrams.
Captain Picard

He's the best Trek captain, in my opinion. That would be why. (Along with a million other things...)
