Right, I love Under the Bridge and The Zephyr Song as well... does anyone know what CD "Aeroplane"'s on?
-
Ummm.... Ferengi? Eek.
I think I'll start running.
I rather liked the other weird ones that popped up.
-
Just interested to see if there're other fans, and what songs they like:
My favorite's "Aeroplane".
-
Me too-- he was in an episode of JAG ("Ice Queen") this year.
Believe it or not, I saw that episode filming on the MD side of Great Falls Nat'l. On one of the bridges.

Buzz on scifi.com x-files bboard: yes, there will be a second movie.
-
I post on: scifi.com, the Kitchen Table (no, I can't get links to work), and just joined thetolkienforum.com.

They're making another movie, I heard-- I think it might work if they're careful with it and make sure to remind people of the plot before.
-
I finally voted, going with "To Serve Man"

Addition:
How about, "You might be a Trekkie if you're on this site?"
If we do have non-Trekkies, please stand up and introduce yourselves. Sorry for making you feel unloved.

Gandhi, Martin Luther King, and as long as power-hungry megalomaniacs from antiquity count, I'm going with Eligibalus (sp.)
No, seriously-- Gandhi, MLK and Winston Churchill.

I think I like this site.

There are many reasons for saucer sections to be able to separate. One important one is the ability to escape a warp core breach. Starships have ejection systems but they do fail. When they do, everyone jumps in the saucer section and gets away form the drive section. (Generations) As for exploding computer terminals mentioned somewhere above. Why do they explode. Obviously there is a surge of power, but why can't they limit how much power that can enter a console. This would be very simple... all it would take is a fuse! You'd think if humans could create a faster than light starship, they could at least figure that out! I've seen one to many officers die from consoles... strange how it's never a main character.Didn't they also try to eject the saucer or something in one of the episodes of TNG involving time travel?
As for the main character... it just isn't suitably heroic.

Yay! Thanks a lot, I wanna get the album... now that I've got the title, I'm sure I can get it...

Squirrel Nut Zippers, "The Kraken", for the fourth time over.

this is one of the funniest things I've ever read. And how true!!I don't wanna think about what some people I know would do with cyborg enhancements.

Sorry to buck the trend, but I really am a bit indifferent. All of the various changes would be okay. All of them are fine. With this one the " STARTREKFANS.NET" is bigger. I don't think I am discerning enough to really think that this one is better than the previous one. It's the substance of the website that draws me. There is plenty of "star trek" things to do, and people here are varied, civil, and many know way more about Star Trek than I do. As long as I can recognize that I am at the right place, you can continue to tweak the logo until it's what you want.I agree with that, however I do like the new logo.
Photoshop is fun; tweak away!
The only thing I'd like to see different is the station slightly bigger.

It was a pretty good show, but got pretty bad at the end... what do you guys think marked the beginning of the end?
I'm saying when Mulder disappeared.
-
Are we talking about the new Twighlight Zone or the old one??There is only one Twilight Zone. The rest are just poor copies

Oh i dont know. The ones they had on UPN a while ago had a few good episodes. But on a whole i agree the original will always be the best.
I'm of the opinion that the first was the best. The only thing that any knockoff did better was the opening sequence in The Outer Limits, and that's just because the computer graphics were better.

I'm listening to "Date with Ikea" from their CD Brighten the Corners now; I was wondering if anybody could help me identify another song of theirs.
It uses the phrase 'bouncing around' a lot in the chorus, has some pretty good harmonies... I can't remember the name or CD. Help, anyone?
Thanks!

Right, I intended to say this earlier and just realized I forgot:
They were on the news in Silicon Valley two weeks ago. I saw them and was like, "Hey, aren't they...?" My cousin was the one who first told me about them. (Somehow, he manages to be a rabid Trekkie and Luddite at the same time)

Happy belated birthday!

I'd prefer another season over a movie.

Very cool. Whether we support the war or not, the people in the military still need our support. :P
