Oh, right! Dear God, how did I forget ff.net... I'm there. No Trek, just random stuff.
-
Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Anybody else ever heard of this band? They're a Star Trek tribute band, with such songs as "Wormhole" and the one all about how they "do everything for William Shatner"...
-
I rather liked Q and the Vulcans, but went with Betazoids...
There's another episode I'm thinking of, one that involved somebody coming back from the dead and trying to get her son to go with her... was that another species? I saw it years ago, and don't remember it all that well... anyways, if that's another species, them.

Superglue your ornaments to their shelvesSuperglue your butt to the chair while on the bridge and investigating ANYTHING...
Otherwise, you can and will go flying!
And never do anything involving Mrs. Troi if you value your single status, guys.
-
I'd say either Troi or Dr. Crusher-- if they want a tearjerking death scene with either Riker or Picard (I'd say the latter).
If not, I'd say Picard. They really do like killing captains, don't they? I can think of a few offhand in both series and movies (Kirk was the only major one to die-- the ones I'm thinking of are like Rachel Gerryt (sp), "Yesterday's Enterprise", et al....)

I've written a grand total of one TNG fanfic, and decided not to post it (had lots of issues-- *cough* Mary Sue). However, I have run across a few good ones on various places on the web-- anybody got suggestions for where I might find other good ones?
(obviously, I approve of writing it).

Captain, or something medical... counselor or doctor, I wouldn't really care.
All of the ones where I can boss people around!

My next flight was in October ('01), to Hawai'i, and I virtually had the plane to myself.
And I've been stopped at security ever since. I can recall 1 time within the years since 9/11 when I've gotten through unsearched-- and I fly very often,

Don't annoy a Klingon.
Androids do, in fact, dream.
And don't irritate Q.
"You can check out anytime, but you can never leave" happens to be nearly true in a certain hotel in a certain planet...
-
And what's with the 'guy' network thing, anyway? Just as many (or nearly) girls love Trek...
Anyways, that's the only channel that I get with TNG, so I have to put up with it.

It's always gotta be hard, trying for consistency when working in 'earlier' happenings.
My sympathy (and envy) to the scriptwriters and editors.
-
An episode involving them and messages through time could prove interesting.
-
"Who Watches the Watchers", TNG.
And I was hooked on Star Trek in general.
Strangely enough, the first TOS I saw was a rerun of the pilot.
-
Hmm, might be copyright issues with so many fanfic writers having tried it.
-
Keep it! One day, I am going to finish with Spanish, Latin and everything else that I'm trying to learn right now... then I'd love to have it here!
-
I'd say the Voyager, if we could somehow cram Picard & co. & SG-1 aboard.
The Tardis works.
And as for the Death Star... (can we include Yoda?)

I love JAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My dad & I watch it together, and have since it first started.
Guess what?
Click for Spoiler:
I was walking in Great Falls park (Maryland side) with my class, and we ran into "Ice Queen" (sadly, a pretty bad episode) being filmed. We saw the scene with the guy on the bridge with orange glasses, spraying stuff on the rails-- so my dad & I watched it religiously for the next month or so. One time I was in the bathroom, and he suddenly yelled "Orange glases!". So I came running in, and sure enough, that was the episode.Click for Spoiler:
In case anybody's wondering, it's the one where Lieutenant Singer the Wicked Witch gets killed. You know, the one more about NCIS than JAG. Word is, they're planning a spinoff on that one too, or so a camera techie told me. He didn't know when it would air. I think I'll stick with normal JAG when it does.

Generally, I avoid crossoverish horror movies, but my bf's been trying to get me to see this with him. (Via cell phone, in the theater. We don't live close.) So, I might...
-
I've become rather fond of "St. Anger". It's an acquired taste, I think.

*cough, cough* duct tape and plastic sheeting-- terror... *cough*
I bought duct tape for use in kayak repair.
In DC, anyways, we wouldn't get away in time.
Well, at least we don't worry about hurricanes... :)

I was in Ancient Civ. (class), in a school just outside Washington, DC, when my Latin teacher burst in, babbled something about the Pentagon and WTC and terrorist. She didn't stay to explain-- just ran to the next room. Several of my classmates have family that work inside the Pentagon, and I have a brother-in-law in the WTC, so we started freaking out.
The the principal decided that if we were to find out more, it would cause a panic-- a result of which was that I never learned that someone had called the school to say that my brother was sick that morning and my mom's meeting in the Pentagon had been cancelled for some off-topic reason.
That night, while the fires were still burning in the Pentagon, two guys (the most popular and the geekiest, oddly enough, although several more people were told about it) and I went to my house, deciding to bake cookies for the firefighters and families (waiting for bodies) at the Pentagon.
So, that bit was comic relief. The flour bag exploded, as did the baking soda... we couldn't figure out how to get the recipie to work... anyways, we finished baking at 12AM. So, the geeky guy got sick from eating too much dough, so the cool guy and I, along with my parents, went to the Pentagon.
We got back at 3AM, and neither of us slept well.
'Nuff said.

In a bad way or a good way?
I'm listening to "Everything I Do, I Do With William Shatner" right now. Very funny at points...
