  1. A lesson learned is one less hardship to encounter. Trip will get over it, it will be interesting to see how he acts in "Regeneration." I'm sure Archer will be on friendly terms with him. Its always nice to be on friendly terms with the Chief Engineer.

  2. I would personally like to see T'Pol get assimilated. However, I bet her Vulcan physiology would have a hard time adapting. Who would you pick? I was going to include Rick Berman...but too many people would have voted for him. :tear:

  3. ok somebody ppllleeaassee tell me what im supposed to do to get to the chat, i obviously went to the wrong place id like to be there next week if i can. :tear::idea:

    Its very simple.

You need AIM. Just log onto AIM as you normally would.

Then click "Chat" -- which is the link next to "Forums" in the menu bar. (<== on StarTrekFans.net page)

It takes you to the "StarTrekFans" chatroom.

    Thats it! :D

PS...we hold events on Wednesdays durings Enterprise airings.

  4. Last Wednesday, it was just Pougemahone, Captain Jean-Luc Picard, and myself.

VGB showed up this time around. We were there until 9:10 pm EST. Hopefully, we will have more people show up each week until the reruns start to hit. And then only the diehards will be there to comment on past episodes.

  5. I loved this episode!  One of the best so far!  Allthough, I hated the ending!

This was an excellent episode, and I completely agree with what Trip did with the Cogenitor.  Infact, I would have done the same myself, perhaps gone even further.  I'm surprised he didn't tell her to keep this newly discovered world of experrience so that she could liberrate more of her gender.  I saw her as a sex-slave, and the attitude of the couple made me sick!  She has all the potentional as they did.  She was a slave, and Trip taught her that she didn't have to be a slave anymore.  I completely dissagreed with Archer's reaction to this situation.

Trip, in my mind, is officially a better character than Archer!

Sure Trip probably thought (and a lot of us think this way) that what he was doing was right. Are you supposed to be concerned/help people whose rights have been taken away? Of course you are. However, Trips method was not the most wise way to go about this. His attempted "liberation" only caused death. His heart was in the right place, but you have to measure the depth of the water before you dive in head first.

  6. Hello,

This is my first post.   I'm going to tell you what I thought of tonight's episode.

    Click for Spoiler:

I agree with Unicorn, I was wary of this episode. From the previews it looked to be like the show where Archer and T'pol spent the whole time given each other an oil rub. This turned out to be a very good episode. Archer showed alittle toughness in the end when he told Trip about the suicide, and how he held Trip responsible. I liked this because in past show Archer's officers sorta did as they pleased. Overall I would give tonight's episode a 8.5 out of 10.

Now let see how the Borg plays out... This could be interesting

Hello Meatwad! Welcome to the board. B)

Yes, I very much look forward to "Regeneration."

  7. Lets get down to business. Oh yea...don't forget to rank 1 to 10!

    Click for Spoiler:

Well...I can say that this episode had 'twist' to it. Pretty tough situation to deal with. Archer looked like he was having the time of his life in that pod. Shame that Trip ended that and made a bad call, but it invoked Archer to take charge of his senior officers a little better. And Trip should have listened to T'Pol. I can see a little Prime Directive action taking place here soon.

However, the underlying message of this episode is twofold. First, as Archer stated, it is necessary to examine the consequences of our actions. Secondly, as UnicornHunter stated earlier, a message of the tolerence (acceptance if you prefer) of non-heterosexual beings was important to the theme. I agree that the second message is an important one that has been discussed before. I'm glad that they address the issue of "open-mindedness", even though some fans will dislike it.

On a non-political note: "I'm anxious to see your tactical array!"

I'll rank this higher than "The Breach." 8 out of 10.

  8. This may be a little premature to judge an episode before I've seen it, but...I'll do it anyways.

I agree with you UnicornHunter. I am apprehensive myself. I feel like this will be a mix between "Unexpected" and "Singularity." It will probably include gay and bi sexual thematics. Just my guess from seeing the preview. Another B&B social issue "spotlight" I'm sure.

At least it should be entertaining! Go Trip!

  9. I have a rather amusing one. About three years ago i went to the big local Con here in Atlanta. It's called Dragon Con and it is a blast!

that year they had Rober O'Reilly, who played Gowron and J. G. Hertzler who played General Martok sitting next to each other at a sighing table. I came up and grinning at Mr. O'Reilly i said, "you know, i think he (Martok) is going to be a much better ruler for the Klingons then Gowron,"

Mr. O'Reilly, playing along, acted like he had been stabbed in the chest and looked wounded. I lauhged and while Mr. Hertzler ignored us, Mr. O'Reilly and i started talking and ended up talking about potty training our children ( seem to remember his saying he had twin boys) we must have talkked for 10 minutes. I was great! He was very nice with a great sense of humor.

and now i can honestly say...I once insulted the former ruler of the Klingon Empire!

Lessa, did you go to the last Dragon Con? They had some great costumes this year!

I live in ATL as well.

  10. A Klingon based pilot, Andorians, Tribbles, Borg. All very very 'Trek'. I know it's the Star Trek universe etc but do you think Enterprise is relying too heavily on established Trek stuff and has too many ties with the previous series?

I can really see your point. To some extent, it is making numerous references to other series. I don't know if that bothers me or if I just find it amusing. With so many ST episodes (of all series) under the belt of the franchise....it makes it extremely difficult to be creative sometimes. Some really hardcore fans will not like this 'dependence' on the other series. Enterprise entertains me (maybe I'm easily entertained). I do see where you are coming from. :D

  11. I voted for "Reed" or "Tucker" equally. I did not vote for Archer because he is better suited on board. Give it to him though, that he is better than Reed or Tucker at diplomatic relations. Bring Reed along if you want security on your away mission. Nothing says safety like a drawn phase pistol. If you encounter technical problems along the way, you've got Trip their to fix it. After all, he is an engineer!

Every member of the crew has some advantage/disadvantage to being part of an away mission, I just think these two would be the most effective.

  12. Hey...not that anyone would ever vote this way, but why isn't

    Porthos

    on that list?

He is a character right? I believe that he is deserving of

    his own episode here shortly.

Ok..enough of that drug-induced rant. I voted for Mayweather orginally,

however, I want to retract my vote after seeing "The Breach" last night.

All of you who saw it know what I'm talking about! Some people owe him

    their lives.

  13. If memory serves me correctly, didn't they land on a planet with an Earth-like population? I think it was at the beginning of season 2 in "The 37s." Janeway gave the crew the option to stay, but no one did of course. Wow...that was only in season 2! I believe that inhabiting an earth-like planet would have been their best option. Like what was said before, their luck was going to run out sometime, be it with them or their children.
