Any crossover in my opinion is cool :-) ehehe
But, I think I like the 2 hypothesis, about the diplomatic missions and about the defence of Vulcan and Betazed
But well, they are also money and availability in the balance :T

The technology, the hability that anything is possible, the dream that man kind can be better...
We got a world and a vision, and now, in this context, a lot of possibility...

I was scanning my Channel Guide magazine, just as I do at the beginning of every month, to plan my Star Trek viewing for the month of July. Something caught my eye this month. InDemand pay-per-view is showing Star Trek Nemesis beginning July 4th. I was surprised to see that movie on pay per view already! I mean, it was just released in theatres in November 2002. Other movies released at the same time as Nemesis, like Lord of the Rings, are not yet available. Does this confirm what some people have been saying about Nemesis being a box office bomb? What do you think? Will you be ordering Nemesis this month?Movies are usually on PPV before they are released on DVD or video. I checked a channel guide and saw quite a few movies that were released around the same time or after Nemesis listed - Catch Me If You Can, Antwone Fisher, Adaptation and many, many others.
For the pay per view I got, it'S the inverse...
But well, PPV is often close to the release in DVD.
And if you compare, Harry Potter was release in November and the DVD in April.
So, the same period of time than Nemesis.

I liked "assimilate this!" in First Contact.I love that one!
Another classic Worf quote: "Sir, I must protest. I am not a merry man!"
B)

Still laughing..
This is soo funny :-)
YEah, Worf is gooood for his quote

He was better in DS9.
And he got all the TNG to establish the character.
But he was a character vital to the plot of the story.
Things you all said already.. lol
-
He is both a Star Trek Visionary and He is Nuts. B)Thanks Takara for the Tribute to our leader
Totaly my point of view...
And Takara, that was my good laugh of the day, thank you and well done!

I've never heard of it, but I've never been a Mt. Dew drinker. I's Coke or Pepsi for me.I'm lazy..
So, same thing for me... Just ad diet in the quote B)

I voted for Parallels.
It is the first TNG episode I ever saw and, well, I really liked it

I loved Tasha Yar caracter..
Just sad she went sooo fast :)

For me, the borg queen represente the collective.
I mean, if you could see the collective as one, it would be her material representation.
So, maybe when the one active dies, another one is born somewhere else, from a drone that is selectionned.
I agree, this is a fasinating subject to think about...
-
Now, that I know what we are talking about
I'll have to vote Nemesis...
-
I think he'll stay captain until he has no choice to do otherwise...
For health reasons or because he would be more useful (in his opinion) somewhere else...
-
Personally, I'd love to see a novel written about what happen to KES after she left VOY, seems to me a great story is begging to be written about that.I agree..
That would be really interesting...
I really wonder why they didn't tell much more about it...
*Trying to think of hypothesis about that...*

I think the best episode of DS9 was Past Tense. I admit that I have not seen all of DS9, but out of the ones that I have seen I think Past Tense is the best. I like episodes that are on issues; episodes that make you think; episodes that make yourself ask “what would I do if I were the caption?”I agree.. Past tense what a awesome episode.
A lot of issues and all.
As DS9 didn't make us think.. About occupation, rebellions... About repression of a word, about terrorism... I wont start the debate here... But well, they were issues to make us think.
If you didn't see a lot of DS9, don't continue to read.. lol
Click for Spoiler:
Like the Jem'Hadar and their addiction to the white... Was it okay to Bashir to try to free them when they didn't want it?
Like Odo sickness... Was it okay for StarFleet do to genocide to win the war?
Like the episode, I don'T remember which one, when O'Brien is captive for 25 years and do kill his sell mate...
Those are the first I have in mind... They were issue and episode to makes us think and evaluate... What would I have do? Is it right or wrong, in my point of view.

To go back on the subject...
I personnaly think that Berman taking over was a good thing at the beginning. I agree that the evolution we saw in TNG was wishable.
And I have to agree that they were too much stuff going on at the same time... They should have let TNG finish before going on VOY post prod. At a time, the writers are limited.
And yes, better schedule and network would have help.. At a point, the only time I could watch DS9 was at midnight on Sunday... Thank god for the reruns that Fox had!!!
I can't talk about Enterprise... I can't watch it
But, that article is a good start to makes us think about all this situation, that's for sure.

Lets see.. a day...
mm..
I would surely do a fly test "Fly like an eagle..."
Do a "RPG" scene with the TNG crew
Go play tango at Quark with Dax
Go learn to play 3D chess with Spock
And take an afternoon in the Nexus.. lol.. Would be curious to see what it would gave for me.. ehehe

Who else likes to eat ice cream with soda? When I was in the Army we had a soft ice cream machine in the mess hall and I'd always get a dish (actually a glass) and fill it half with ice cream and the other half with coke. It was great. I still put it into bowls of ice cream from time to time.Anyone else?
mmm.. no.. lol
In my case, it's plain vanilla ice cream...
Or, with Maple syrup.. just too good :-P

I would pick shapshift. Then I could change into a bird and fly, be a sea creature and live and breath under the sea. That would be just toooo cooooool!
And if you turn into a bird, you can fly
And if you turn into a fish, you can breathe under water..
ehehe

What I refuse to accept is that Nemesis was the last Star Trek movie...
I want others !!!!!!
I would like DS9, But either would be fine with me.
I just don't want STX to be the last one
