  1. Excellent ideas, however I'd rather buy the DVD's than keep downloads as the DVD's will allways be superrior in comparrison to downloads.

Some of us, like me, just can't afford it

    :) :) :) :o

Can't wait to finish my master and get a real job... :-T

  2. Why is it that most Trek fans don't care to see a DS9 or VOY movie, eh?

    Not true at all!!!

In fact, I would more care for a movie about DS9 than TNG right now...

I hear a lot of people say that Voyager and DS9 have all the loose ends tied up and there is nothing left to do with those series.  I disagree.  Even if those story arcs are somewhat concluded (and I don't think DS9 was), the characters live on.  A creative writer could certainly come up with a story that would feasibly draw all the characters together again and be compelling enough to attract audiences.  Yeah, sure, the Dominion War is over, but does that mean that life on DS9 gets dull and boring?  Further adventures will be had.

After all, it is the writer's job to come up with stories, that's what they get paid for.  If writers had stopped writing Trek stories just because a story arc was concluded, Trek would have ended years ago.  Instead, we not only have multiple series to enjoy, but a myriad of books by a variety of authors.  I just don't believe there are no more stories to be told about DS9 or Voyager.

    Yep!

    For DS9

I would love to have a movie with Sisko comming back...

Would be fasinated to see what new did he learn in his "journey" with the prophets...

And I'm sure they could find a good story around that.

And well, I'm sure that if they really want to have a Voy movie, they could find and make a good story.

  3. Have you ever seen something that just struck you as unusual.  When I lived in Tallahassee I was driving to church one morning near FSU and I saw a man in a Superman costume - I mean the whole get-up, blue tights, red cape and briefs - running down the road.  It wasn't close to Halloween, I remember thinking that's a bit odd.  I did find out later he was "known" in the community for running around in super hero costumes.  Still it was quite odd at the time.

    Poor guy...

But, who never dreamed of being a super hero? :)

  4. Addictive?  This site?  Never!!!!   Just remember the first step in curing an addiction is admitting it.  SO I AIN'T GONNA ADMIT IT!!!   LOL. :(

    I did admit I was addicted, didn't I?

Who would want to cure THIS addiction? Not me!!! :)

Yeah, who would want to cure addition to StarTrekFans.net?

    Not I :)

    Master Q

    StarTrek_Master_Q@yahoo.com

    Yes!!!!

I'm affraid it's quite addictive, and quite fast!!!

And me that said that would be only a lurker.. Shame on me!

  5. Kes had a great start, but I agree with stelfan, she was just too good to be true. She had been beaten and abused by the Kazon (You could tell by her cuts and bruses, and also from the book Pathways) But she never really hated the Kazon for it, they just kind of dropped it after the first episode.

I think she could have had wonderful potential, with her history, and her character could have had so much more depth. That's why I liked the episode Warlord, she was suddenly a compleatly different character (even if it wasn't her)

    I agree with you guys.

But I did like her anyway..

And as her relation with Neelix... Maybe it's due to the fact that she consider that he saved her for her old life and gave her the chance to leave her homeworld...

  6. I agree! Frakes is a GREAT director and he should do the next ST movie. Brent Spiner and Patrick Stewart could write the book.... So we would have a TNG movie again  B)

    Mrs. Captain Picard

    lol

That could be so cool :-P ehehe

    Seriously, I think like JLP..

I though with "A Generation's final journey begins" was the indication it was the last TNG movie...

And with Riker and Troi on the Titan, Bev at Starfleet medical, Data dead and all... Would it really be a TNG movie like we used to see?
