Xeroc was right about something...
I really found things interesting to post out here.. ehehe
Just hope I didn'T flood too much the board today...
Feel like I'll have fun continue this tomorrow.
Thanks all for the Welcome :-)

Well, it's hard to tell...
Janeway is good, since she had to maintain the peace in a Starfleet/Maquis crew. Which was something hard to accomplish.
But, they were in so different situation.. It's really really hard to tell.

A measure to a man.. No hesitation...
I really love that episode, I watched it soooooo many times I know it by heart.
But, for the pool, I vote for the offspring.. Really moving episode, and sooo sad at the end.
-
I don'T like or dislike it..
The problem is, before his foul act at the accademy, he was so unbelieveble to me... Really the perfect little cadet with all the brain and curiousity...
The perfect kid!
But, what happened at the accademy makes me feel for the first time he was a normal human being.

Pulaski *shivers*
I didn't like her, but, doesn't mean I didn't like her in the show.
And yes, she was bumpy on Data, but it showed us how much we liked him ;-)
However, I prefered Bev as a CMO. She has more potential.. I mean, do you imagine Pulaski go on a party with Picard and Worf on a planet in Cordassian space doing climbing?
Ro was great! It was a good idea to ad her, and the Maquis was something great too.
But I agree..... A little more mouvement would have bring new dynamics to the serie at the end.
-
I voted for all good things...
Because, well, it's a Q episode but not just a Q episode...
I like the idea of bringing back elements of the first one and Data and his numerous cats :-)
-
I voted for Picard, even if I hate it...
It's either that, or he retire to France...
And, well, I think...
They wont be more movie for the TNG crew.. It was the final journey and I believe it. Unless the Titan and the Enterprise has to work together on something.... With some cross with DS9 and Voyager..
That could be cool! :-)

I don't think a new tv serie will work.
And as a movie... Well, it may sound silly, but I have difficulty to imagine a TNG movie without Data, Picard, La Forge and all...
But, the advantage of a movie like this would be the introduction of many new caracters... Maybe the introduction of some events for a new tv serie....
Who knows?
I mean, DS9 left a lot of plots unfinished...

They have shows schedule from June 16th to June 25th

I really liked Guinan.
When I think of her, I think of Peace. The scene she was in was often peacefull moment of reflection far from the lines of fire.
I think, with Q around, I think it was great to have the wise and down to earth caracter to face him.
And, she was there to introduce some elements that were hard to do in another way, like in a measure to a man.
And, as caracter I can't take, I think Weasley Crusher is the only one I can think of. I mean, he's hard to believe. Especially to see him in the "senior" meeting.. But, well.. that's my problem ;-)

I remember that we see Quark in a TNG episode.. Just don't remember if it's this one...
When Riker and him talk about some gold pressed latinum...
-
Maybe he doesn't use contraction because he is programmed to use perfect English...
But, well, when he try, he can...Or was it something to do with his emotion chip...
-
I got to like her best with the episode when she's kidnapped on the Romulan ship.
I'm just sad that all the episode that was around her had to imply her mother. I like her, but well.. We didn't get the chance to get to know Deanna in situation when she had to be the "hero". Except, of course, in that episode.
But, the same is true with Geordi too. We didn't get a episode of him being a hero without his "Visor" being a main element.
-
The Ferengi has their purpose, and I agree that it's in DS9 that we got to know them better
I think all the aliens in Star Trek represent an exagerated facet of human nature.I agree.. I even did a philosophical paper on that one day for a class... I don't understand why I got the highter grade.. ehehe
And I like to see how the authors see a totaly capitalist society. Makes us thing about if it's what we wants for ourselves...
Yep, really good place for philosophical debate here, so I'll :-X

DS9 got really good with The Circle.
All the political aspects for Bajor and the battle for power were really interesting.
A little sad that they left that a little aside, especially in the finale season.

In all seriousness..Jadzia and Riker are way to far apart to be considered alike. They both have extremly different pasts, which is what makes a personI agree.
And they had really different posts too.
Dax is a science officer, Riker is a command officer.
So, their roles wasn't the sames.

I had to vote for Odo and Kira...
It was such a satisfactory to see them finally together!
But, a close choice was Jadzia/Wolf and Ezri/Bashir
Jadzia and Wolf were 2 strong minds, with some passionate relationship
And I was soooo glad that Bashir could finally find a soulmate :-)
-
Well, I vote for Ezri.. LOL
Seriously, I really like them both.
Jadzia was ready to get the symbiot. When we met her, she was adapted and her caracter was really interesting. She was charming, sexy and confident.
Ezri on the other hand wasn't. So, we meet a caracter that is suppose to help others with their mental health (she's a counselor after all) which face a problem to sort out all those personalities, when she wasn't ready. She's funny, cute and try to affirm herself.
So, I vote for Ezri, since, in a way, has some Jadzia in her :-P

The strong point of DS9 is the characters...
That may be why I like this serie soooo much.
However, if I have to choose, I would take both Dax and Julian Bashir.
Julian Bashir is the character that has a real evolution in this serie.
And, my favorite bad guy is Dukat :-)

In my case, I never get into Voyager.
I listened to it, but the characters never got to me and at a point, I just stop listening.
I can't vote for Enterprise since I never could watch it (damm Canadian broadcasters)

Great episode.
But, IMO, mostly a great introduction to the Borg, a essential element to the ST universe.
Ahh.. the number of time I did nightmare with Borgs in it.. ehehehe
