I don't know. He doses not seem if he could be a convincing Brit imo. He was good in Troy though.

I think it should be obvious (why a scene wasn't written for it- we'll never know) that Archer requested T'Pol for his first officer, and that Adm. Forest granted his request.
Keep in mind that Starfleet in this time period is more like NASA than the Navy, or Marines.
Why would that make it okay? Why doesn't Archer just crew his whole ship with untrained civilians that he just happens to quite like? :)
I dealt okay with T'Pol being the First Officer for the first two series because the character was good. Now with her being a civilian, with her shoddy addiction and her incompetence in command, I find it revolting that she gets of scott-free, (no pun intended), with her dishonesty and utterly poor judgment.
Even in a taxi company you wouldn't keep a driver on that had willfully taken drugs or drink and had accidentally killed someone because they chose to get behind the wheel whilst affected by that addiction, let alone NASA! I say again that T'Pol is guilty of the manslaughter of at least 18 people by her behaviour in Azati Prime. So, it's only a TV show. At the end of the day TPTB have to decide if their show is going to condone drug-usage or not. If there are no consequences to T'Pol's addiction and if T'Pol stays on as First Officer, they are condoning precisely that.
I feel exactly the same way. I honestly think T'pol is one of the worst Vulcans since Spock. She's neck and neck with Valeris of ST VI. I think her actions should have been reported to the captain. Phlox didn't do his job in that respect. What if she relapses and gets more people killed? Who's to blame then?

they could be energy conduits providing energy from the warp core to the nacellesThat's what I thought they were. They also can be seen in STTMP.

I'm not really enthused about a series set before ENT. I would rather have a series or movie with the Excelsior crew.

I drive a 97 Ford Probe.

Is the Cage considered canon?Yes, it is.
If so the tech used does not match up with ENT. But ST had never been perfect in that area anyway.I think it'd be really lame if they made Enterprise to fit 1950's sci-fi.
I was not saying that Enterprise should be exactly reminescent of the Cage. Having ENT with crude 60s sets and props would be crazy. What I'm saying is that the tech principles of ENT are too advanced. In The Cage laser pistols and cannons were used but for some reason Enterprise (100 years before) has Phase pistols and Photon torpedoes? The design for the torpedoes seems to be the same as those we saw in TNG. Which is 200 years later. Dont even get me started on the 22nd century Romulan cloaking device. Having transporters in any form seems out of place too. But that's just my opinion. ENT is a good show but it's not perfect.

This guy was a classic.

I've always liked The City on the Edge of Forever.

I had tp pick the Enterprise E's fight with the Borg cube near Earth. The Enterprise Reliant battle is second.

I doubt I will see the first ship leave the system but a trip to Mars is likely. I dont hink our world will turn aout like Star Trek's sadly. I used to think so but since then I have studied history a lot and It seems we are locked into the same cycle of behavior as our ancient ancestors. As for meeting other species. It seems like the people of Earth can't accept our own differences on a large scale so how would we react towards aliens? More than likely we would start a war.

TOS started me on Star Trek. I remember picking up a old James Blish novelization of the first few TOS episodes and I was hooked. This was a few months before TNG premiered.

Go for it! I dont hate Enterprise but I'm not really in love with it either. I know there has been several debates on whether or not the show really should be called pre TOS. I'm afraid some of it really does not seem to fit in my opinion. This may be nit picking but that's just how I see it. I'm also turned off by all this time traveling. This show does have potential but I dont think that potential will be realized the way the ratings are looking and the new time slot it will be in.

I'm not really a Wesley fan. He seemed a bit too intelligent at times. But that's the writers fault. Considering his character's usefulness ended a while ago I consider his character a dead end now.

I thought Gul Ocet was cute!

I think Redemption parts one and two were cool.

I would date a Klingon woman. If she promised not to hurt me too badly.

It was tough but my favorite is Relics. I love the homage to TOS.

I've seen all of them and I love them!

Would you all like to see a tv series based on the adventures of the Enterprise B? I think that it would be interesting to see how Captain Harriman and Ensign Sulu have fared. I know that there are books based on that premis but I havent read any. Maybe Sulu could be an admiral. Kirk couldnt be in it though (thankfully...)I would to see a series based on the Enterprise B crew or the Excelsior crew but apparently tptb are not that creative...

The pics I've seen look promising. I wish they had gone this route with Cat Woman.
