  1. I've always liked the maroon and black uniforms in Star Trek II and later movies. They were neat and I like the militaristic styling. The later era uniforms are nice also the recent black and grey ones especially, but they somehoew remind me of pajamas.

  2. Years ago I had made up my on timeline based on the information available then. I was 5 years off. I put Star Trek II in 2281 or 2282 because they said that the Space seed episode was 15 years in the past from the movie.

  3. I agree Shades of Grey was bad. It was just a cheap clipshow. I did not like Skin Of Evil mainly because I feel they could of written Yar out better than that and they never really explained where the "tat monster"

came from. Pus the tar thing looked ridiculous.

  4. Data had probably been a lietenant commander for almost 20 years by the time of Nemesis. He had more time in uniform than Geordi, Worf, Troi and maybe even Crusher who probably got a bump up the ladder because of her profession. Data should at least have been a full commander years before Nemesis. But in reality even if you are a good officer the rank of Captain is not promised to you. Even if you attain that rank command of a ship is not always possible (there's only so many ships). I think in the STNG universe it was discrimination and In reality an oversight or deliberate effort to keep the crew together for as long as possible.

  5. I know I sound pessimistic but I don't think there will be anymore STNG movies. The last one was not well received and Enterprise is losing ratings.. It's also possible that there may not be anymore movies period. If there is another movie I think It will probably have a mixed cast of TNG, DS9 and a few VOY thrown in.

  6. I thought it was a good quality film. The effects were good and the plot was... So So. I just hate the fact that they felt that Capt. Kirk had to die. I didn't exactly like how he died either. But overall it was a good movie. I liked it a lot more than Insurrection.

  7. Hello I'm the new guy! I think that tonight's episode was one of the best in quite some time. It illustrates the learning process that humans in general will have to go through to become the species it is in later centuries. I do think that Trip was wrong. It was not his place to interfere in an entirely different and alien culture just because he thinks they are wrong. Thats like the old Christian missionaries telling natives that their beliefs were wrong because they were different. It is entirely believable that we would do this with an alien culture since we are still prone to do it on our own planet. I did not like their social system but it's not for me to judge.

  8. Hello I've been a Star Trek Fan for 17 years. I've visited the official sit and was put off by their negativity. This is one of the nicest boards I've seen. I'm glad to be here!!
