My we can't make up our mind can we Kay. I like them all too.

I voted for Garak. He was a multifaceted character. He could be extremely dangerous and sly but in other situations he could be trustworthy.
-
I voted for Dax 1. She's a more evolved and thought out character.

Yes but they made this mistake twice.. So much for their adaptability. I detect a bit of arrogance in their thinking perhaps the writers incorporated it

Does anyone here collect Star Trek Models and Action figures? I have a few Enterprise Broken Bow figs and a lot of Playmates figures. I read recently that Art Asylum is releasing their version of the original crew starting with Kirk, Spock, Mccoy, Uhura and the baddie Khan. Their going to release the rest of the crew later. The big news for me is that they are releasing a electronic Enterprise A with working sounds amd lights. I can't wait! The detail of AA's work is amazing.

I'm waiting for them.

Good luck to them.

I'll get VI for sure but I would not spend another dollar on V. A cheap pirated video version is enough.

I never knew that! I guess you learn something new everyday. The lyrics fit the era that it was written in. -
The time paradoxes always comfuse me so I'll just say that City on Edge of Forever was one of the best TOs eps IMO. Oh and I've read Harlan's original story and It's great.

Have you ever thought it strange that on both occasions the Borg only sent a single cube to attack Earth? We've seen in STVOY that they have thousands of cubes and the technology to send them almost anywhere. And didn't Guinan say that the Borg swarmed through her system? Doesn't a swarm constitute a lot of ships? Luckily for Starfleet they only sent one. What do you think?

I agree with Takara and Cap. The Borg queen seems to be present on the Borg ships even when we can't see her. She probably can exist many places at once and her bodies are just vessels that carry her concienceness. Perhaps at the end of FC when Picard snapped what was left of her spinal cord a signal being transmitted from somewhere (delta quadrant?) was cut off.

As much as I like the show I have to agree with Timmy on a few points. I don't think they should have phase cannons or pistols because during the first two pilots of TOS they used laser weapons. Plus I'll bring up my old gripe that During TOs eps. Balance of Terror Spock said that the Romulan War was fought with primitive atomic weapons not photonic torpedoes. Of course that does not rule out Star Fleet using both in the war. And my last point is that I think they should have left the transporters out completely or they should have introduced them later in the series. As for UESPA ADM. Forrest did say that StarFleet was less than 20 years old . Perhaps Starfleet evolved out of UESPA.

I agree with Cap.

I usually rate Insurrection 6.9 out of 10. It's not bad but the story had a few plot holes. But of course very few stories these days dont. The FX were not that well dome IMO also. It's better than ST V. That's not a huge accomplishment.

I voted for DS9. Logically it would be next in line. But from a certain standpoint it would make since to go with a joint cast movie considering the general public may not know as much about DS9 or Voyager to be interested in the film.

I agree 44. I think that the Borg started as an advanced humanoid culture that let it's love of technological advances go to far. If we don't watch out it may be possible that we will make that mistake in reality.

I voted for STNG's soundtrack. I do beleive it's been overdone in the more recent movies though. :)
-
I don't think Voyager will have a movie centered specifically on their cast. I think any future movie will have a mixed cast. I would love to see a DS9 movie but I doubt it will happen.

I thought Kirk's Admiral's uniform was the best in the movie.

I've always liked that episode. Thankfully those people ran into Picard instead of the Cardassians. I bet if anyone of us found ourselves in old Salem with a cell phine in hand we would be instant witches.

You know there is a precedent in Star Trek of having two Captains on a star ship. Both Kirk and Spock were Captains in the last few original crew movies. If puzzeld look at Spock's rank insignia. Kirk was just the officer in overall command. It's seems weird but there you have it.
Undiscovered Country vs Generations

I voted for UC too. I loved the plot and the action. Generations was Ok but didn't like the death of Kirk at all.
