  1. I actually like the way he's developed...he has a LOT of character, even when his face is relaxed. :superhappy: I'm very bad with recognizing people and remembering names...but the trade-off is that I can read people's personalities the second I see their face...and 99% of the time I'm right about them.

And AndroidGirl, at least Shatner still has his LIFE, much less his mind.

  2. Let me preface with the fact that Data is one of my favorite characters.

Now, that being said...I loved Nemesis, including the ending. Data's selfless act was so human...and then to show a glimmer of his memory in B-4 was great. To whomever said he should have run away, the explosion was instantaneous...it was impossible for him to run. His death had meaning and was necessary, as has been mentioned, due to Brent's age. While Nemesis has a goofy opening sequence with backwards letters, the further the movie progresses the better it gets, in my opinion. I would honestly not have the ending in any other way. It brings tears to my eyes every time and that's part of what I love about it...how it affected me and continues to affect me to this day.

  3. Man denied refund for condoms accused of calling 911 AP

ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -Police said a man called 911 and reported a robbery after a gas station employee refused to give him his money back for an unopened box of condoms.

Police said officers responded quickly to the call on Sunday and found a gas station worker who fit the description of the robber given by the caller.

Police said the 21-year-old man told them he called 911 and made the bogus report to help him get his money back.

Police charged him with making a false report.

No doubt he wanted to return the condoms because they were just too large for him......... :superhappy:

 No doubt. Or he was too mixed up from a night gone wrong.

  4. My girlfriend went to see this (and a big reason was because of her Robert Downing Jr. actor crush that was sparked by Iron Man). According to her it's hilarious through and through and was the only new movie worthy of dethroning her favorite new movie (Dark Knight) from the top slot.

She mentioned there was a Trek reference in the movie...interesting. (She's not a trekkie but I've been converting her. She considers herself an underinformed Trekkie at the moment, having only seen the first two seasons of TNG...I know she should have seen more by now since we've been dating almost 2 years, but most of it at this point has been long distance, so we have to do it over the internet with webcams simultaneously.)

:superhappy: I tried to keep from making a run-on! I even left out information so as not to ramble so much...!
