I was greatly saddened when I heard the news of Captain Kangaroo's passing. I grew up on his shows.

My dream vehicle other than the Enterprise NX-01? I love my little Dodge/Mitsubishi Challenger. I wouldn't trade her for any other vehicle. (except maybe for the NX-01 and I would have to think long and hard about that)

Hello everyone!

I'm back and I survived the surgery on both my knees that I had last Tuesday. It wasn't as bad as everyone was telling me it would be. I was told that it would take a week for me to start walking decently again, and I've been walking unassisted since Thursday morning. I was also told that I couldn't drive a car for 10 to 14 days and that I shouldn't go back to work for at least that long. Well guess what? I drove myself to work today! I am so glad to get out of the house again--you have no idea!

I am also very, very glad to be able to get back on the boards. I haven't been able to use the computer at home because of the way my computer desk is set up. But I'm back now. I can't begin to tell you how much I've missed you all! I want to thank everyone for their well wishes. I really appreciated it. Y'all are so great!

Did I forget to mention I'm havinig it done with no drugs, only locals on the knees. I don't like drugs. I'd rather tough out any pain. I'm used to that.

I'll probably be off the boards for about a week. I'm having arthroscopic surgery on both of my knees on Tuesday morning. This is something that I've need to have done for a looong time. I will greatly miss everyone on the boards. I hope to be back next Sunday or before. Until then, keep up the good posts and a big hello and welcome aboard to all the newbies.

I left the ST.com forums long ago-last April because I got sick of all the spamming and hate-mongering. STF.net is the greatest and most friendly place. I consider it Home. Kudos to VBG, all the mods, and the members for making STF.net the wonderful place it is. May STF live long and prosper!!!!!
