  1. They finally tied in the time travel arc, but how did the Xindi go back in time?

    Click for Spoiler:

I wondered that too. I thought the people that told the Xindi that the humans would destroy them in the future couldn't travel through time. Therefore how could the Xindi be sent to the 21st century? But evidently they could send inanimate objects. Example: the component in the weapon that attacked Earth.

The question still remains---How did the reptilians get to 2004? :o

I'll give it an 8.5 for the Archer and T'Pol "tie him up, untie him scene" in the apartment.

  2. Trip's emotions would probably be like a roller coaster.  I hope that's at least touched upon.  However, he has nothing to feel guilty about because he didn't do anything wrong.  The ship would have blown up if he hadn't shut down the reactor and the accident wasn't even his fault.  His modifications were working until Enterprise flew into the previously undetected space crud.  Who fell asleep at the sensor station or was the crud undetectable? I'm sure he'd feel creeped out by the saga of Sim but I'd expect Trip to experience insecurity more than anything else. Could I have been replaced?  Think about it.  How would that make you feel?    I would feel terrible.  That's why I liked Archer's resentment of Sim's assumptions that he could stay in Trip's quarters; it showed that Trip would never be replaced in Archer's heart no matter what.  That's nice,  isn't it?

I thought that final shot of Trip at the funeral was the perfect ending - someone he never knew died to save him...because that person thought he was necessary to save the world.  Talk about a major responsibility - now he has to live to make that person's sacrifice worthwhile.  He may not have asked for it but that's some heavy stuff.

    I agree with you both.

However IMO it would be very strange at the very least to look down into a coffin and see "myself."

  3. A 10 !

Great performances by Bakula, Trinneer, Blalock and Billingsly!

One question for all out there:

Do you think Trip will have some of Sim's memories? If Sim had Trips memories from his DNA, wouldn't it stand to reason that Trip would have Sim's? After all, Trip received a part of Sim's grey matter.

  4. I voted ENT!

The characters are great (as are the actors) and we are seeing more and more development of them. We are seeing what makes them tick. The interactions between the crew members are developing nicely too.

The spirit of the show is what caught me from the beginning and continues to hold me. The newness, exploration, going into uncharted territory where no one has gone before, captivates me. We know how it will all end (with the formation of the Federation, TOS, TNG, VOY, and DS9) and this is the journey that takes us there. Now, the crew is seeking out the Xindi to save humanity. Let us explore what humankind is made of!

The story arcs and the writing is truely taking shape in this season! I couldn't ask for better.

Let's not forget the special effects. They are superb!
