Lt_Riann, I know of and used to have the parody you spoke of. I did a web search for the lyrics but to no avail. You no longer have it? What a shame!!!

There is one thing I would love to get my hands on.
Back around 1977-78 a friend had a copy of Mad Magazine that had a musical parody of TOS. All I remember about it was that it hysterical, and one of the songs was set to Aquarius, having something to do with "a crew that's dispensable."
I know there has to be a Trekkie/Trekker that knows what I'm talking about.

This is great!
Thanks Capt. Picard!
This needs to get pinned at the top of the page.

Hoshi Sato = Sushi Psycho
Especially after Singularity!

Or collected to become food for Phlox and his creatures. lolHa Ha Ha. Verry funny!!!
I don’t know about the time of ENT, seems during ENT time bugs would still be considered pests, Humans do not yet understand the possibility of them evolving into sentient beings. (?)A roach, is a roach, is a roach. I say squash it, regardless of the Prime Directive!

This is great! I could easily get addicted!
Thanks VBG!

I couldn't read it all, it was so bogus! As for the 3 stories:
1. Last time I checked, blindness is a handicap.
2. Dinosuar skeletons have been discovered.
3. Why should race effect what kind of fictional job a person has in a story?
This "Language Police" crap sounds like an attack on free speech if you ask me.
I couldn't read it all either!
All this politically correctness makes me sick. Sometimes I just want to scream!

I think she should be charged for driving dangerously and for child endagerment. Driving while breast feeding is ovbiously more dangerous than driving while using a cell phone, but let's put this aside. Even "IF" she could do that safely, what if she were hit by another car? The baby would deffinately not survive as it wasn't secured in it's baby seat.I agree. And it is against the law in most states, if not all, for a child to be out of a car seat while the car is in motion.

I'm loving your responses!!
I knew y'all would find all the errors in this article. How about this one:
Even in a galaxy far far away, Capt. Kirk needed to keep in touch with Spock and Bones and all those blonde lady friends waiting breathlessly for him back on the ship.Kirk and Skywalker are not interchangable!
If I'm not mistaken, Kirk is from Indiana(or was it Iowa?), Earth, Alpha Quadrant, Milky Way Galaxy. "I'm not from outer space, I just work there."-Kirk, The Voyage Home

I voted yes,I would not be surprised if an agent for Section 31 is already a crewman on Enterprise, taking notes and sending info on possible dangerous aliens back to earth.Having Section 31 on Enterprise would definitely be nice. Especially if we can see them start as a positive group, and then watch them slowly turn dark, as circumstances justify.Ditto!

I keep trying to rewatch those two episodes, but I never quite get to it. I case you watch before me, please post what you find.

Here's an article I thought everyone might be interested in. You can read it at:

Now, my problems were from the beginning portion. The debris from the Borg Sphere was apparently in the Arctic for 90 years, right? In the scene in the teaser where we see the long shot of debris field, how come there wasn't that much snow/ice coverage? You'd think after 90 years there wouldn't be much visible.
Our female researcher moved the snow off the Borg like it had just fallen within the past few hours. She and one of the other assistants decided to remove a cover from a unit giving off power readings. Hello! Wouldn't the top have been frozen to the rest of the unit?
When Starfleet decided to investigate the research station, the crewman said they'd hadn't heard from them in 3 days. 3 days? That was a minor irritant, but based on the amount of snow and ice build-up in the wrecked reasearch lab, you would think that after 90 years, the aforementioned debris would be visible spotty at best.
And one last question: "How did they discover the debris feild in the first place?"
Whew...there...I got that off my chest. Thanks for putting up with my ranting, but I had to ask someone! :)
Stingray
Although I enjoyed the episode and liked the link with First Contact, I had some issues with it.
I had the same problems with Regeneration as you did.
I had some major issues with the lack of following proper protocols concerning the Borg wreckage and the Borg "bodies". No medical protocols were followed concerning the Borg themselves. The researchers had no idea what those creatures were, or what types of pathogens they carried. That alone should have kept the Borg under tight quarantine.
Phlox should have done the same with the new assimulatees. As the saying goes: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." (Should I have made that "A Gram of prevention...)
Despite that, I still enjoyed the episode.

I have a theory...Enterprise spends a couple of years in the expanse make peace with the Xindi, they come back and find out that a war with the Romulans has been raging on while they were gone.
Just a theory though so take it what it's worth.
Fantastic idea !!!

I think there are many nameless/faceless heros out there in society performing small tasks that change the lives of others. These people wouldn't win and awards for their service but they've helped better the life of a child, an elderly person, someone disabled, etc. These "heros" don't ask for anything in return, they do it for love, or for the mere fact that it needs doing. These are the ones that help better society in small ways that put together add up to larger improvements.
Instead of calling them nameless/faceless, maybe I should have refered to them as "unsung heros."

Thanks Lt Riann, I like some of those.I think its time for a change on my computer!! :)You're very welcome. B)

Lt. Commander Riann awaiting orders, sir.

I voted Ballet naturally, being a former ballerina.
I liked Tallahasse because FSU had student productions. Those are the things I miss most living in a small town.Tallahasse and FSU does have some great cultural events. The FSU Dance Department is rated 2nd in the nation amongst its peers.

OOOOOOOO I'm very exicted! I wonder how they'll do it! :)Ditto...and yet I'm oddly feel as though this could mess the time line up more..but then..
Ditto!
Q just happens to be one the characters I love to hate!
Maybe TPTB should wait, and use Q for the series finale...
Click for Spoiler:
with Q he can just snap his fingers and everything will be as it was -
I have to brag about my latest acquisition.
This past weekend I was in one of those salvage stores--the ones that buy up all the merchandise from insurance settlements on fire or flood damage, etc.
Lo and behold I spotted the large NX-01 model sitting on the shelf in perfect working order. When I discovered it was only $2.00, resistance was futile!

"Sir" all the way. I think that's the coolest thing ever that they call their female officers "sir." Well, maybe not ever, but it still ranks up there. I'd love it if people called me "sir." I just think "sir" sounds a whole lot better than "ma'am."But this is the subject of some of my favorite dialogue from Voyager:
Janeway: Despite Starfleet protocol, I don't like being addressed as sir.
Kim: Yes...ma'am?
Janeway: Ma'am will do in a crunch. But I prefer Captain.
[later on]
Kim: Yes, Ma'am.
Janeway: It's not crunch time yet, Mr. Kim. I'll let you know when.
I'll let you know when. *giggles* Poor Harry.
I don't think I could ever get used to being called "sir", but I don't like ma'am either.
I love Janeway's take on it though, and would prefer being addressed by rank also.
