  1. Hmmm, what I will be doing...well, certainly the plans I had have drastically changed. I had planned to be coaching my gymnastics squad through their first season, hopefully all the way to State Championships. Plus, I was hoping to be continuing my senior year as an Interdisciplinary Studies(Biology, Chemistry and Physics) major.

Well, since I was injured back on June 2 at work...and still have problems with my arm. I have had to hold off returning to school, cant go back to work(cant hold a 1 pound ball at physical therapy, so spotting a 100 pound child is totally out of the question)...so, I will be working on my art projects, posting here a bit as well as the other boards I attend, and going to doctor's appointments and therapy until I am cleared to return to work. However I will have a significant disability so I will be searching for a new job. Plus, If all goes well...I will be playing clarinet in the family band at numerous music jobs around the state during October and early November. We shall see what the future brings

  2. It depends on the type of story written.. Most of what I have read is OK, some I really do not approve of....It all depends on the subject. Myself, I was writing one I still might but right now I am not sure when I'll get back to it...( :dude: I have been saying that for over 10 years now...)

  3. Very interesting show.

As far as the computer generated picture is concerned though, I'd be interested to see how accurate it is. For instance, I'd like to have an exray of my skull done. Give the x-ray to those experts (who would have no idea who I am) and give them only basic information about me. I'm male between 25 and 35 and that's about it. Let them then make a computer generated picture of me and see how close it comes to reality. They would have to make different variations of course because they wouldn't know race, eye color, hair color or hair style but at least one variation should come close if the method is valid.

I would like to think the process is fairly accurate. I agree it would be awesome to have someone xray my skull and see what the experts come up with. especially since there is something that runs through some members of my family(the ones I know of, me, my mom and my grandmother) we all have one primary molar(baby tooth) that never will come out unless it has to get pulled or falls out due to accident. That would throw them a bit off, I think in trying to place my age range, plus I am rather small...oftemn mistaken for a pre-teen or teen.

  4. Nefertiti was one of the greatest women that ruled Egypt! And, she's the step mother of  the "boy King". :-) The next greatest were Hapshetsut and Cleopatra! Although, the part that they didn't get into on that show was the fact that all of the treasures meant for Akenaten's tomb were stolen, and were put into Tutankhamen's tomb (The boy kings thrown name is Nebkheprura, by the way.)If you haven't figured it out by now, I'm an Egypt freak, and have been studying it since about Kindergarten when I fell in love with the subject. I wish to be an Egyptologist, but have no money to go to school for it. If I was one, I would want to study under Dr. Zahi Hawass himself! :-) :)

Hatshepsut! yeah she was really cool, that is of course why I did my humanities research paper on her... Thanks little sis for loaning me those books back then.. :)

  5. Green

Nature's most plentiful color promises a balance between warmth and coolness, so green people are usually stable and balanced types. This is the good citizen, concerned parent, involved neighbor, and PTA member -- the joiner of clubs and organizations. You are fastidious, kind, and generous.

It is important for you to win the admiration of peers so you are often a "do-gooder." You are a caring companion, loyal friend, partner or lover, with a high moral sence, and are super sensitive to doing the right thing.

You are intelligent and understand new concepts. You are less inclined, however, to risk something new than to do what is popular and conventional. The bad news about green people is that they often have big appetites for food(Yillara's note: :) Isn't this the truth!!). If you are dieting, it is difficult for you to lose your lumpies. The worst vice for a green is the tendency to gossip. Are you a little green with envy(Maybe....:) I have no idea right now....) ?

Always loved the colors green, black, sky blue, and pale yellow.

from the career one... I am a blue-green person

Vast expanses of sky and ocean accommodate the spirit craving release through a sense of infinity. Their loftiness and depth have endowed their color with a noble character. Blue has historic and symbolic associations with royalty, yet it is also the peoples color. In use, especially in clothing, it flatters nearly everyone. It is the peacemaker of colors. It is cool and soothing. It's negative meanings, confined mainly to sadness or depression, are merely extensions of its positive traits - cool taken to cold, and solitude to isolation. Blue is fundamentally salubrious; blue skies are a patent cure for the blues.

You like things VERY CLEAN ... ( Free from dirt, stain, or impurities; unsoiled )

    You love animals and plants.

You also love the ocean, and the earth. A true lover of the "great outdoors".

You are the King or Queen of "Sports"

You are a comedian and love to make people laugh.

You accept rules or difficult situations well.

You live a jolly, extravagant life.

You are very good with CHILDREN.

You are always involved in helping to make your church or community a better place to live in.

You are introverted - ( Marked by interest in or preoccupation with oneself or one's own thoughts as opposed to others or the environment; shy or reserved.)

You are the "thinker" (think, cerebrate, cogitate, reason, reflect, speculate ... These verbs mean to use the powers of the mind, as in conceiving ideas or drawing inferences: thought before answering; sat in front of the fire cerebrating; cogitates about business problems; reasons clearly; took time to reflect before deciding; speculates on what will happen.

Blue-Green is the color connected to the "Respiratory System" of the body.

Blue-Green represents the integrated systems of the world involved in the intake and exchange of materials, products and ideas between people, cities, nations and the environment.

  6. Yeah, Data does have a personality, but Lore is a "villan" only because people don't care about him. I do, and I think he's a great guy! So, I think Q is the best villan. :-) Cause, I don't consider Lore one. ;-)

:) good one... I agree that not many really care about him, in a way that he needs to be cared for.

  7. First Contact...I loved it, and really like that they had "Magic Carpet Ride" on the soundtrack!(I love that song!!)

Actually I love all of the TNG soundtracks, and have three of them(FC, INS and NEM)..Plus, I used selections from INS as floor excercise routine music("In Custody"-of course from a scene that has to do with Data :) )....had planned to use "A New Ending" from Nemesis as my routine music for our End of the Summer Show...but, due to injury could not. Darn, I really wanted to use that music. :)

  8. I saw it! It was awesome....all of us were here at my house watching it...me, EmilSoong(and her husband) and wookieofborg. I loved the special...heck I really like Egyptian studies(my sister still has plans to be an Egyptologist-she's the largest fan of anything Egyptian...even has a copy of the Book of the Dead!). And the facial reconstruction?? OMG! I love it when they show either the old clay process or the updated computer models...that would be an awesome job!

  9. Here school has started for children... my little brother wookieofborg started school August 8(they get out of school somewhere middle of May, as he is a Senior he'll be getting out earlier).

As for me, I would be starting soon, if not alredy started if I wasn't injured...but, I will be postponing my return to my senior year of college in the Spring session.

  10. CATS are my favorite!! My family's owned cats pretty much all my life.

Crystal is 11 years old, and half Abyssinian(at least that was what we were told by the vet.)

We also have parakeets owned by my brother.

We have also had gerbils, hampsters, and various breeds of fish.
