LOL It's more fun to post though.

Everyone knows of my Star Trek fondness too, there's even people that say I should seek "Therapy" lol. I'm not shy about it, but I'm not shy about anything I like at all. But here no one has to be shy about Star Trek, that's what I made this site for.

I agree, in a very real way they are already being created. Not on the scale of Star Trek yet but they are beoming reality.

I remember playing a Virtual Reality game at the mall with my brother, we put helmets on so we could see but it was like we were in the game. If we moved our heads the view in the game moved. We could "Look at eachother" and everything. It was super cool!

It has to Survive.. its telling us how the Federation and everything came around!!n plus i have to watch it!!

That's why I pinned this topic, that way it'll stay at the top here and I think most people are reading the topics before joining, and with this as the first topic they should see it right from the start.

We have our first Promotion, though her title of Councelor doesn't change to indicate it Celtic_Swimmer has earned the first promotion on the board. You will note her "Pip" level has now changed to 2.

I can see more promotions are on the way! If I fail to notice the promotions as they take place please IM me or Alterego and one of us will make the announcement.

Yes I know this a pro Star Trek board and i like it that way, but hey everything has it's faults, even Star Trek, so for the sake conversation if you could wipe one character from the books of Star Trek lore who would it be?

 

My vote would be Kes, she to me was a pointless character that went no where quick.

My least favorite character is Kai Winn, I "hated" her.

As you have no dobt noticed there is a new Skin on the site. If you liked the old skin better you can switch back to it easily, just go into My Controls and scroll down on the left to Options: Skin and Languages click there and you can reset the board back to it's original Skin.

I thuoght this skin would be more fun since this is a Star Trek board

To this day I still haven't seen the first episode of Quantum Leap, no matter how hard I've tried I just can't seem to catch it on.

Umm i have seen all of the Quantum Leap Episodes.. i think its still on space.. i dunno haven;t watched it in like a year..

but its been on.. i've seen it like maybe 2 times.. it just shows him making his first leap.. nothing really special

Yeah, but I'd still like to see it just to see how it all started.

I think the show's doing fine, but to kill the crew just for rating may confuse people even more, cuse i don't think we need any more people in Star Trek history that prior to them being on the show don't exist any where in Star Trek lore. The show going get better , as if it needs to, the whole character developing thing for backgrounds is all most over except for the one upcoming dealing with Mayweather's background.

They don't need to kill one of the stars, but they do need more "Red shirts" to kill off lol

It wouldnt be that bad but I would never accept it. I WANT ANOTHER TNG MOVIE! IM SAD!

I like TOS, and your right it was ahead of it's time, people only watched because it was in colour :) , TOS is classic TV as is TNG. TOS dealt more with social issuses of that day, which TNG and others since have done but not as clear as on TOS. Honestly i like the movies with the TOS cast more than the show :) , but there are some really great ones, and if not for that show we wouldn't be talking about this, but something wonderful; happened on that show that light up the minds of so many kids, considering it was on for only 3 seasons, just like Monty Pythons Flying Circus :)  .

Oh, and me and my friends played in our back yard, i was Data, i had my phaser and tricorder  i got for christmas in 1994, man am i old. 

If you pretended to be data then you are NOT old... lol
